Very hard to get your money back if you can at all. Do not sent them any copies of anything which they will ask for as no airline needs this information. Again SCAM!!!!

Untrustworthy company

Untrustworthy company. They charge a surcharge even thought it says no surcharge on the booking page. Apparently it’s written in their terms and conditions there are ‘exceptions’. If you are tempted to book with them perhaps read their terms and conditions first. God knows what other ‘surprises’ you might uncover there.

Outright scammers

Last night I booked a business class flight from Sydney to Las Vegas with them. I received this email message from them:
"As per Airline few new updates we need any kind of Australian Address Proof of yours i.e. (License, Electricity bill , Utility bill, Students Card etc). So kindly send us the any kind of Address proof and also the passport copies. Please provide us this documents so that we can forward it to airline" The airline was Hawaiian Airlines which do not require any sort of proof of address - I believe they gather all your private information and on sell it to third parties.

I then called the number at the bottom of the email and he told me that the payment didn't go through and to pay manually using bPoint which I proceeded to do and he said he would send the confirmation within 15 minutes.

After 30 minutes he calls me and said actually only half of the leg is in business and the other half is in economy, I told him that is unacceptable as I booked a business class flight. He said let me figure it out and I will call you back. I then researched this company and found them had scammed others so I quickly called back and asked for a refund which the attendant said he would process.

I am still waiting for the refund and have not heard back from them.

My Booking Reference PTB158989 if the company wants to verify these claims please go ahead.

DO NOT USE AGENT! JUST DONT.

The poorest service you will ever receive from an organisation.
This company should not be authorised to operate in Australia as nothing meet our standards.

I spoke to 'Rachna'

I spoke to 'Rachna', she was very helpful in handling my queries and being very swift in her work. She took extra care to make sure that all my details were right to avoid hassle later on. So, kudos to the team at PriceBeat.

Terrible! Pay a bit more and book through someone you can trust.

I found this website through Skyscanner so thought it would be legit. It was the cheapest option but my flights were not booked instantly - I received an email saying they were on 'HOLD' So after calling (and being hung up on the first time) and then asking for them to cancel the booking as I needed instant flights booking, I then received a call saying that they were struggling to receive payment from the bank but the flights were confirmed. I repeated many, many times that I no longer wanted to go ahead with the booking and I still think it has not been communicated. Terrible! Pay a bit more and book through someone you can trust.

Trustworthy company with reliable service

I was a bit worried to book flights with Pricebeat Travel after reading all negs, but I had past negative experience with other way more expensive agencies, so I decided to give it a go. I can't really fault these guys. Courteous, professional, quick to respond to queries, and cheaper than anyone else. The ticket issue process is a bit tedious with names verification via email back and forth. But when I thought about it again, it's actually a foolproof process where customer is forced to correct potential typos, misspells etc. I booked 4 tickets, and it would cost me dearly if I'd made a mistake. Good on you, guys.

A very very dodgy company

A very very dodgy company. I booked a flight with them through Skyscanner. I received a confirmation email but no ticket. I then kept getting messages left which I could not hear nor understand as there is so much noise in the background. Is this company being run out of someones living room in Bombay? When I eventually got to speak to "Harry" he asked me send a copy of my passport, drivers license and credit card. When i asked why he said it was the new rules of the airlines. I told him this was not true and l would not provide them. Days later he starts calling again and I ask where my ticket is and why the payment hasn't come out yet. He said it had been declined and he would re-submit it whilst on the phone and I would get a 6 digit password sent to my phone. This all sounded way too dodgy for me. I called the airline, no booking was made under my name and they confirmed that they do not need copies of my ID to book a flight just a passport number. I called the bank who said no payment had been declined. I have now told them to cancel the whole thing and have not heard back from them. Do NOT use this company. They lie to you and will most likely leave you without a flight. I paid $100 more and got my flight through Virgin.

I made a booking with PriceBeat Travel…

I made a booking with PriceBeat Travel through Skyscanner for $925. They sent me a Booking confirmation email but the payment is not confirmed. They then emailed me to ask for a copy of my bill AND my passport which I refused to provide. BEWARE OF SCAM.
They accepted but sent me a payment link through BPOINT for a slightly higher amount of $942. This is where I draw the line. I told them to cancel my booking and I will cancel my credit card as well.
Be extra careful when dealing with PriceBeat Travel

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM! I booked flights for 2 people and it was confirmed it went through. I didn't recieve a email confirmation so I rang them up and aafter being passed around I was told there wasn't 2 seats together so they cancelled my booking. I received no email to say they even cancelled it. I then rang up again and spoke to the same person as I didn't mind if we didn't sit together, I then got told that they cancelled it because there was no seats that was the same price which was a different story to the first one. I asked how it is possible that the price is different and he told me that the price is never confirmed you make a booking. What a joke, will be reporting this to the Ombudsman and Skyscanner. This company needs to be stopped and charged.

Brilliant

Brilliant! I can only sing their praises. I had a problem with my booking and called their number for assistance. A lovely lady called Roshni was on the phone and was so helpful and patient. She fixed the mistake I had made and made sure everything was sorted out, emailed me to check everything was okay and called back to confirm I had everything I needed. All this was done at midnight and I was so grateful for her excellent service and for her lovely polite manner. It is sometimes daunting to book online with a company you don’t know but my experience has been very positive. Thanks Roshni

Price Beat Travel is a FRAUD.

Price Beat Travel is a FRAUD.
First they sell you a ticket and collect your credit card details.
Then they send you a message "Greetings from Price Beat Travel...!
You were trying to make a booking on our website but your card is decline because of an error the whole booking is cancelled and the payment has not been processed."
Within a week you will find a fraudulent transaction on your credit card, like I got $7.5k from booking.com
STAY AWAY from these crooks.

1 Star is to generous

1 Star is to generous. Reasons why:
We found a fantastic deal on the web for Sydney to Portland (USA) via Honolulu on Hawaiian airlines. Business class all the way.
We booked online, then had to call them to finalise the booking, as their system is not totally "online" the final credit card charge had to be made manually.
We used a Visa credit card, as there was a NIL transaction fee as indicated on their website.
Upon calling to finalise our flight, they were going to change me a $70 fee for credit cards. Luckily i checked the SMS verification amount before providing the validation code. She promptly correctly the amount and my card was charged.
This is where the dramas started.

After receiving our flight booking reference, there was no Airline booking ID, just the travel agent ID. the agent requested our Passport and Drivers licence info, as the "airline" needed this. In addition to a second email requesting our Date of births, which was recorded in her email to us, filled in online AND also recorded on the passport and licence. All very odd.

It was at this stage we discovered that the Sydney to Honolulu leg was business class, and Honolulu to Portland was ECONOMY, with the same multi cabin on the return journey.
This was not what we booked, and promptly called them.
They blamed us for booking it this way, however on their website at NO stage did the booking say Multi cabined flights.

We then requested a QUOTE from Sydney Australia, via Honolulu to Seattle USA. Knowing this would be full Business on all legs.

She told us that she would need to get back to us.
A day or so later, we called back, and were advised to "trust me" and let me sort things out, we let it go for a day or so, and then looked at our booking on Hawaiian Airlines.
it was then we discovered OUR booking was changed from SYD - HNL to SEA, without our consent.
We called back again, and was requested to again, let her do her job and she will get back to us. again we let it go for a bit.
then the next day we discovered our Honolulu to Seattle (even though we had paid for SYD - HNL - Portland) flight was cancelled, and called the agent again, only to be told that Hawaiian Airlines had cancelled our flight and she would call them the next day to find out why.

Infuriated, we hung up and immediately phoned Hawaiian Airlines ourselves. We were informed by Hawaiian Airlines that the airline DOES NOT cancel flights unless requested by the passenger or booking agent, or if the flight itself was cancelled to that destination.
it was at this stage that Hawaiian advised our whole booking (SYD- HNL - Seattle) was cancelled.

We were back on the phone to PriceBeat Travel demanding an explanation.
We actually surprised the agent as they did not expect us to call Hawaiian Airlines to request information about our booking.
at no time did we request any cancellation or booking change.
The Travel Agent then admitted that their accounting area cancelled the flight, even though my credit card was charge and we did not provide any cancellation or change consent.

Eventually after multiple phone calls over a few days, the travel agent, who offered very quickly a full refund, and it would take 4 weeks to process.
We demanded it be processed and allowed the funds to be back in the credit card by friday (4 days away). on day 3 (and 2 follow up phone calls) they provided a refund receipt and the funds were returned to my account on Monday.
