Priceline lack of support and accountability disrupted my plans
I booked my ticket through Priceline in January and flew to California in May. Before my trip, Priceline sent me multiple reminders confirming my itinerary, so I had no reason to believe there were any changes.
My outbound flight went smoothly, but when I went to check in for my return flight to Vancouver, I discovered that my flight had been changed from 9:30 p.m. to 12:00 p.m.—about 9 hours earlier than originally scheduled. This completely disrupted the plans my family and I had made for my last day together. Instead of enjoying the time we had planned, we had to rush to the airport to avoid missing the flight.
I called Priceline the night before to try to resolve the issue, but they simply blamed the airline and offered no meaningful assistance. I also emailed Priceline’s executive customer care team, but they refused to provide any compensation and asked me to submit receipts that I no longer had.
This was a very disappointing experience. Because of the lack of support and accountability, I am giving Priceline the lowest rating possible. If there were a zero-star option, I would choose it. I will never use Priceline again and would not recommend booking through them.

How is it possible that you guys have a 71% when most of the reviews are number one? I am just another customer that was scammed! I ordered a car. I was called and was told that they didn’t have any cars after I had already paid. I asked about the money that I had already paid and they said it would go back on my card. That was over two weeks ago! They took $260 out of my account and I did not get any service whatsoever! I am pissed!

Has anyone had to file a civil suit…
Has anyone had to file a civil suit against Priceline/Affirm? In early June I booked a hotel/flight package to begin June 24 for 4-days only to find out that the event details had changed & I would need to cancel the entire package. I cancelled the trip over 2-weeks before the original flight was to take place; so, I did not take the flight. After several attempts long before the flight was to take place, I finally spoke with Priceline CSU telling me that they would cancel the package & notify Affirm; but, this has not happened & Affirm is charging me for a package that Priceline was supposed to cancel & clear my Affirm account. I was able on the Priceline site to cancel hotel reservations; but, I’m still being charged for the entire package because Priceline did nothing to clear with Affirm. Horrible service!!!
Hotel room date changed with no refund
I was in New York City on June 19 and needed a room for the night. When I booked a room for that night, the date was changed to July 1. I immediately tried to contact them to have the date corrected, but they said the hotel would have to do it. The hotel had a no change/ no refund policy. I was immediately charged for the room. I called the hotel, and was told that they had not received payment for the room, so apparently Priceline has the money. They refused to refund themoney even though I requested several times.

This company purposely traps you.
This company purposely traps you.
I booked a deal and went in to a room that was terrible and smelled very bad. We left immediately and told the person in charge that we weee leaving. I asked for a refund but never got it. The worst problem is the difficulty in trying to communicate with Priceline!
Then I booked another hotel that night and went to ck in and they said they didn’t have a reservation.
I looked online and the Priceline app had booked me two months out!! Could not get a refund on that either. They are as crooked as can be!!!
WARNING - BUY YOUR FLIGHT TICKET ELSEWHERE.
I booked a flight with an agent. Her name is Darcy. She was adorable on the phone until I bought a round trip ticket for a relative Sao Paulo - Rome - Sao Paulo.
I also bought a travel insurance.
When I asked her to give me the name of the insurance, she did not want to tell me. She just said: "when you come back and you have a claim, email me or call me. I will take care of you!"
Coming back, to the US, I had a small claim for my relative.
I called her many times. No answer. I left messages asking her to call me back, she never did.
I emailed her several times. No answer, too.
After repeated calls, it was by case that she answered the phone, not knowing I was the caller. When I told her that I have emailed her a claim, she said that she will get back to me soon.
This crooked woman never did. She just disappeared. It took me a lot of time to investigate who the travel insurance would be, and found out after a lot of hassle and time wasting, it was a Nigerian insurance.
I went to their website to make the claim. After putting all the info, their website did not allow me to proceed.
Darcy is a low life scammer. Most likely, she cashed the amount of the insurance with her accomplice and never got back to me.
Buy your ticket using a local agency. You will save money and won't get crooked.

Consumer Beware
Will never book again."I had a terrible experience with customer service.” Site froze when making reservation for Ritz Carlton. Had to start over with reservation. Priceline then sent two confirmations when only one reservation was requested. Called customer service immediately. Customer service had robotic responses. Priceline canceled second room but charged me for it anyway including resort fees. The Ritz confirmed Priceline was only charged for one room. Priceline would not refund the double charge due to policy. Bank would not remove the double charge due to Priceline policy. The priceline team was entirely unhelpful and I was given the runaround. The hidden fees and lack of responsibility made the whole booking experience incredibly frustrating. I highly recommend booking directly with the airlines or hotels if you want any peace of mind. Priceline is taking advantage of the consumer and getting away with it.
Misleading booking
Misleading booking, false information and no responsibility taken
I am writing this review because Priceline’s name appears on my booking confirmation, and I believe you should be aware of how your partners are treating customers.
While travelling from Denmark to Italy, we attempted to call a hotel directly but were instead connected to a booking service. We were repeatedly assured that the room would accommodate two adults and two teenagers, that breakfast and free parking were included, and that everything had been confirmed with the hotel.
None of this was true.
When we arrived, the hotel had only received a reservation for a standard double room for two adults. There was no breakfast, no free parking, and the hotel confirmed they had never been contacted regarding the promises made by the booking agent.
The hotel also informed us that the standard rate for the room was around €145 and that they had received only €120 for our booking, even though we paid €193.
After driving for 16 hours, we spent our evening trying to resolve the issue. Customer service repeatedly told us they could not help, transferred us between departments, kept us on hold, promised callbacks that never happened, and ultimately left us to solve the problem ourselves.
As Priceline’s name appears on the booking, I believe you share responsibility for ensuring that customers are not misled by companies operating through your platform or network.
I expect a full investigation, a refund, and an explanation of how this could happen.
I sincerely hope no other family has to start their holiday the way we did.

Bonnie was wonderful she help me book my last minute trip to Jamaica and even extended her help in finding a hotel that was very much of my liking. She even allowed me to check out all the hotels she emailed me and give her a call back to go ahead with reservations. She is a wonderful agent would definitely recommend her patience and going above and beyond.
Booked Non-existent Rooms - Damaged Family Vacation
Trip # 369-072-423-95, Motel 6 Chattanooga Airport confirmation #6515283411 for 4 rooms. Received confirmation email which had an invalid phone number for the front desk. Arrived on site around 4:00 pm. No rooms available. Hotel said they'd also been given an invalid phone number with which they'd been trying to reach us. We need to leave a sick son-in-law and a dog and get to Ruby Falls by 5:30 to use $360 of timed entry tickets. I had angry family members, five anxious grandchildren and no time to find rooms. We wound up paying twice and much for lodging and rushing and stressing to make the evening work. Upon trying to reach Priceline a few days later, after 3-4 hours, 5-6 foreign born agents, 2 times not receiving the promised return calls, I will NEVER open the Priceline site again and will spread my story at every opportunity. Penny the AI was the most sympathetic and apologetic. Maybe I can laugh about that - one of these days.

Everyone just be careful with the prices and room they show for the advertisement and traffic flow booked 20 days ago .They show the price for one type of room but when your bet the booking the room gets changed .when you call customer service they cant help you its shits as hell.this is thirds time this happened to me through priceline .its just a third party trying to make money doing anything they can.stay aware from it.I would suggest other third parties instead

Purchased collision insurance on a rental car I was not accepted at the rental car place so needed to purchase additional. Receive no refund from Priceline. They are a joke. Will never use them again.
bait and switch again
Reserved a SUV, company gets me a SUV that was smaller that what was clearly identified on the request. Company says they can give me the correct size for 2x more money. At this point I had no choice but to pay. Customer serivice has hung up on me 3 times and and I am getting nowhere. Absolute horrible customer service.
Refused to issue refund
They suggested a hotel that was far from my route and when I realized with a few minutes of booking I requested a cancellation that they didn't honor.
Platinum customer < customer no more
Platinum customer < customer no more. Priceline is not the company it used to be, customer service is non existent. They could not care less about customer issues. Their response is always we have no option to help you even though they set the options and can help if .. if they wanted to. Dont do business with this company they have decided they don't need your business.
Will NEVER use Priceline again
Will NEVER use Priceline again. I had to cancel less than 12 hours later and never got any of my money back. Terrible customer service as well. Twice they told me they’d get back to me within 1 hour and they never got back to me at all. Do not use this company!!
