Will NEVER use Priceline again
Will NEVER use Priceline again. I had to cancel less than 12 hours later and never got any of my money back. Terrible customer service as well. Twice they told me they’d get back to me within 1 hour and they never got back to me at all. Do not use this company!!
Never ever book with this company
Never ever book with this company, they are extraordinarily overpriced and do not clearly display their pricing. They advertise a competitive price in large bold font but then hide extremely high fees and taxes in small grey font below. This is hugely misleading. I was stung for a 50% increase in the price of a hotel room as a result compared to booking.com. Priceline is a joke.
False advertisement
They false advertise hotels as nice and clean but the true is most are nasty. Book at a super 8 and it was so bad I couldn't keep my family there for safety issues. Contacted priceline and no one there was any help. They kept giving me the run around and won't refund my money. Definitely won't be using them again for anything. As soon there was hidden fees in the car rental that they don't tell you about. They won't take responsibility for the nasty hotels they offer.
This is the worst way to book a hotel
This is the worst way to book a hotel. They will rob you if there is any reason you miss your trip!
Trying to find a nice place to stay and…
Trying to find a nice place to stay and get into a room last minute with accurate pricing of motel. Additional fees not listed on forum with trying to factor pricing-“” all fees should be in posting- bait and switch. Also , had pool listed on top bar and only after getting in to room and unpacked found out there was. O pool. I notified Priceline and tried to argue it. I’m not spending the couple days here fighting for something I feel was an inaccurate portrayal of.
If I could leave negative five stars I…
If I could leave negative five stars I would. Priceline is an absolute joke and a scam. I advise anyone to book through the actual hotel website, because the "savings" and price cuts you receive is that you have no foot to stand on if you have a terrible experience. I issued a complaint for a refund for a hotel stay that included photos and documentation. The actual HOTEL has been more helpful and respondent than Priceline. My claim has been in "escalation" for 14 days now, with Priceline claiming that they are a 3rd party booker who USES a 3rd party booker to reserve hotels. They will give every excuse besides doing the right thing. Buyer Beware.
Horrible customer service!
Horrible customer service!! And BEWARE: They advertise free cancelation up to a certain date, but it’s actually an option. If you do not select the option and pay extra, you do not get a refundable reservation. VERY SMALL PRINT HERE. Communication with customer service is an absolute nightmare. You are expected to sort it out with AI. If you get to customer service you’re speaking with individuals who can’t understand what you are saying for some reason….. I finally resorted to emailing the website which did not yield better results. My advice, AVOID PRICELINE, there are much better companies like Expedia who don’t misrepresent what they are selling and actually have a functioning customer service department!!!

Priceline messed up my dates for a Hotel I booked, I noticed this as soon as they sent confirmation, I tried to have the dates changed and they would not I asked to cancel so I could book the correct dates and they said the cancellation fee was the entire booking price. I requested not to be charged the fee and was told that was up to the hotel I spoke to the hotel and they said they could but Priceline never sent the cancellation and will only use AI to respond to me......Please for the love of god do not ever use this service it is just a fraud
Terrible service
Terrible service, unhelpful team support, When booking for kids they never show the kids on booking and the hotel charge hidden fee.
tell the truth up front
tell the truth up front. explain that you have to shuttle off airport, that the shuttle service stops at 8 oclock pm, not open till 8 am. that you are not garrenteed the car you paid for in advance. if you call customer service, they will hang up in your face.State that you must pay for transport to your resort and back to car rental lot to retrieve a car that you did not order up front. state that you are chopped liver if they dont have the car you paid for. thay dont care if it dose not meet your needs, they are paid already, customer is shit then. your whole Co. sucks! I will never use you again! I will also blast your Co. whenever I can.
Do not use Priceline
I recently booked a package trip for the first time. Plane, hotel and car rental. All were for 4 days and the same date. Priceline booked the flight and car rental for the set date, but booked the hotel a day later, check-in and check-out. Things happen. The issue is they would not fix it and didn’t seem to care to make it right financially. Customer service is foreign and don’t have empathy, just bots. Do not use Priceline.com.
Zero stars. Unsafe properties and nonexistent customer service
They profit from listing biohazard properties. I was sold a room infested with cockroaches, and Priceline refused to provide a refund. Their customer service is a joke; they shield themselves behind endless automated loops and generic responses designed to make you give up. They don't care about consumer rights or public health. Absolute corporate greed. Never booking through them again
Read until the end!
Read until the end to see why I gave an extra star even though they deserve less. I had the worst experience with Priceline. First of all, Booking.com does their package deals through Priceline. I typically do a lot of booking trips on the first but never the latter. From the beginning I noticed my Booking.com info didn't carry over to Priceline, so no extra discounts and such. It also didn't ask me to sign in to Priceline, but I figured when it asked for my email and phone number when I booked the package I would get a confirmation. I didn't see one in my email, and looked on Booking.com, figuring it would be there. It wasn't on Priceline either, although I did create an account afterwards under the email I booked with.
I didn't worry about it until right before the trip which was my mistake. I searched my email and didn't see one from either site, nor on Alaska Airline's site. I contacted Alaska and they gave me the flight info. So I knew I actually booked the package. I tried to contact both Priceline and Booking when I got to the destination- neither had a record of the reservation and suggested I forgot to book it. I told them I had proof I paid in my bank account. The agent sent me a PDF of a screenshot of my info- not an email confirmation but a screenshot. This had NO information about how to contact the host to get the check in info. I finally Googled it after numerous attempts to figure out how to reach him through both sites to get the info. He texted it to me and said I should have received a confirmation. The info finally showed up (belatedly) in the Priceline app.
Oh wait, the story isn't over! A couple of days later I locked myself out of the rental with my phone inside which had the code to get back INTO the rental. I didn't remember the code, and didn't have the guy's number. I looked on my Priceline account on THREE different web browsers on my laptop-remember I didn't have my phone. No trip info, so I called them, was on hold for 30 minutes and got sent the same PDF from earlier.
After fruitlessly searching Google for the host's phone number (I have no idea how I found it the first time) I called Priceline back and FINALLY found someone who could help me. He is the ONLY reason Priceline gets an extra star. He was able to contact the property and get the code. Give him a raise! By the way, I only saved $6 on the package- not worth the hassle. I would NOT use Priceline again and am seriously considering not using Booking again even though they have the best selection of hotels and vacation rentals.
I have used Priceline for over 20…
I have used Priceline for over 20 years, but my last experience has convinced me to never book through them again. Trying to resolve confusion regarding a possible refund due to cancellation necessitated by an airline flight. Cancellation turned out to be an absolute disaster. Having to cancel a hotel reservation late at night over the phone led to a 30 minute waste of time trying to talk to a heavily accented agent. The AI agent “Penny” kept cutting out. The next day follow up resulted in an email message that I would be contacted within 24 hours with a resolution to my question. That never happened. More wasted time on the phone ensued. I was informed in great detail of the process that they were trying to conduct on my behalf that wasn’t working. I informed them that’s not my problem.
As long as a customer doesn’t need assistance for anything, Priceline works.
I booked a hotel stay through Priceline…
I booked a hotel stay through Priceline for the wrong date and contacted them the same day to cancel the reservation. They emailed me saying they would reach out to the hotel and process the cancellation within 24 hours, but they never did. I had to call them back mid‑week, and only then did they finally contact the hotel—at which point it was already too late and the hotel declined the refund.
Because Priceline failed to follow through on their own 24‑hour commitment, I was denied a refund even though I have emails proving I reported the mistake immediately. I ended up paying $220 for a stay I never used. My case was escalated 3–4 times, and I was told I would receive call‑backs that never happened. I had to chase them every step of the way.
Terrible experience. Avoid this company at all costs.
Some booking agents are better than others.
Booking flights has never been an easy process for me, as a matter of fact I don't look forward to it. This time I checked with several booking agencies and got some good results but it wasn't 'easy', and it was time consuming. I then compared the results I received and had to 'fine tune' a few things and then go back to two or three agencies to get additional questions answered (that, in itself, wasn't a smooth process as it wasn't always readily easy to find someone, or something (AI type), to get the results I was looking for). This time around (in getting my flights booked), I did best with Priceline and specifically with a most helpful and considerate booking representative by the name of 'Lester'. He spoke clearly, did not rush me, seemed to understand some of the problems I faced, answered by questions, offered suggestions as returned my calls when some issue had to be clarified or resolved; I sincerely appreciated all of this. When the process was finally over, I was satisfied with the flight bookings, the prices, but above all for the excellent assistance I received from Lester. You may want to keep his name in mind if looking to Priceline for your needs and you may want to keep Lester's name in mind. Best to all!

Priceline is a fraudulent company and…
Priceline is a fraudulent company and needed to be taken down or look into. So, we booked a one night stay in a Fairfield by Marriott in & Suites Homestead in Miami Florida, due to illness emergency leading to me not being able to stay in the room. I reached out to priceline to cancel my booking, but they told me the room can not be canceled and non refundable and asked me to contact the hotel, we contacted Fairfield Marriott Hotel and informed them able my situation, they also told me to contact priceline back and let them know about our situation, it was as if they were playing games, it was all a scheme and someone trying to take my money and not refund me. Mind you I called like 8 hours ahead before my check in time and still they won't refund me back. I would advise anyone to stay away from priceline, they are big scammers and stay away from this Homestead Hotel in Florida. 60 Southwest 352nd street, Florida City, Florida 33034, United States.
Insane policies and zero customer service
Booked a hotel last evening for a 10 night stay the following week ($1900), so 5 days prior. Needed to switch hotels to stay with other people coming in for the project. Switch would only have been from one Marriott to a different Marriott. I am used to easily cancelling or changing a reservation when I book direct, so my mistake using Priceline to begin with and did NOT see their policy has a penalty fee if I opt to cancel. Day after booking I asked to cancel. Their AI Penny said sure I can cancel for an $1800 + change fee. They would refund me $19.97. I'm sorry what? No way to contact an actual person I could find. Policy is absolutely ridiculous in this day and age and believe me neither myself nor anyone from my company will ever use Priceline for any travel reservations. NOT EVER.
