My flight (family of 4) got cancelled…
Updates added to the end ---
My flight (family of 4) got cancelled and then reassigned by one of the airlines in an international interline journey -putting the connection time from 3 hours to 1 hour 25 minutes in Heathrow in the middle of peak summer - without baggage checked through , this is impossible to make the connection. I was clearly informed that i would not be allowed to start the journey due to a minimum connection time requirement by IATA .
This created a week of lengthy phone calls comprising of 13 hours of hold time, and delay tactics of long holds mixed with outright denials that this was a refund worthy issue while blaming Virgin Atlantic for "guidelines" that apparently defy IATA Rules . In the end, it turned out to be that all the "efforts" that were being made to secure the refund were an absolute lie claiming to be waiting for refund from Virgin which was supposed to be made on the basis of an MCT breach and involuntary refund. Supervisor Joseph basically used the guidelines rule (which is completely unrelated to this issue) , claimed his system was stating a Guaranteed Connection Time and refused the refund and DID NOT GIVE ANY ALTERNATIVE. Clearly meaning my money was gone and in other words , i was robbed!
Then after many hours of research, i called a number that is listed online as their Executive resolutions team by Google Search which also completely denied the refund and left me with only choice - to pay MORE MONEY to change my flight due to no fault of mine.
I've used Priceline for flights , cars and many other things in the past. Complete breach of trust of a long time customer over a few thousand dollars .
Strongly recommend that everyone steer clear of this company that has a team of courteous but zero knowledge staff sitting in the Philippines and who are clearly under instructions to just keep whatever money was made even if it means the ticket sold is useless.
Date of experince has been from the 10th until late last night- i re-state -- over 13 hours of waiting and hold time and people claiming to have a case number but then every time, zero understanding of the "Case" after spending an hour to review the details, and beginning the conversation with Guidelines that are completely illegal to apply in my case. This is after screenshots were shared with them of a conversation with Virgin Atlantic who clearly stated eligibility of refund
===============================
So within 24 hours of being "convinced" by their staff to pay more money to change my ticket to another flight that I DID NOT BUY , the management (apparently) reaches out to me (from originatestsair at service dot priceline dot com) saying
"We have received the necessary authorization code from the airline to proceed with your refund.
To finalize the process and process your refund, please give our customer service team a call at your earliest convenience.
Thank you for your patience.
Best regards, Travel Services."
I write this edit - 48 minutes into the phone call where a supervisor says there is no record of an authorization and he has to "Call the airline" -- something they love saying just to make you wait hoping you will go away.
The Joke Continues!!!!
To sum up today (17 June 2026 - a full week of delays and dramas and fake blaming Virgin Atlantic) has culminated in Supervisor David telling me that the refund authorization was received on the 12th already.. The only logical deduction then is that every single employee was simply lying / trying to deceive/trying to defraud a customer out of their money in order to not issue the refund which was legally my right.
In the end David said that because I had agreed to change the flight the night before(after a refund was denied and the only other option given was to pay more money to change the flight so that i dont lose all of it) , the refund code does no apply and he would need special approval.. this was early morning 17th June 2026.
24th June 2026:
I get a call on the 22nd after being told the refund is being processed (many many phonecalls and hours of hold time added to the above), where a guy called Morgan asks me for my mailing address to send me a cheque for the refund.
I refuse to give my mailing address as i want a refund to my card and cashing an international cheque would be (if possible at all) very long and huge charges would apply.
He says he's going to "Escalate" it to the accounting team.
I send an email with all this and my complaints as usual to the email address mentioned above. They acknowledge that email and send back saying they have raised it to accounting as well.
Next day , i get a call - Rhea - who states everything before was misinformation and there is no refund!!
HAHAHAHA! What a joke of a company. I feel robbed!
Lol is any lawyer reading this... could be a brilliant opportunity to take on a case and win!
Priceline is a total joke
Priceline is a total joke. Reserved rental car and bought fake scam rental car coverage that wasnt accepted. Rental cover promised refund however had to contact the idiots at Priceline in their scam. Long story short I had to contact American express for refund of rental car coverage that never existed. Avoid Priceline at all costs. Their offshore customer service is the worst I have ever encountered
Offers insurance for trips but doesnt…
Offers insurance for trips but doesnt cover cancelations. The whole thing seems to be a scam
Absolutely horrible
Absolutely horrible, booked a 2 night stay at the residence inn by Marriott in Bricktown for $246 but when I get there the lady at the front desk charges be 2 seperate $105 deposits, so I end up paying $460 and she says it’s the way Priceline does things smfh
Simply untrustworthy.
Booked on the Priceline website, sent a large amount of money to them, got no booking confirmation of any type and when contacting customer service they told me the reservation did not exist, and they would not be able to do anything about it.
Bad Experience
I wanted to express my disappointment regarding the significant issues I experienced with my Priceline booking for my trip from Seattle, Washington, to San Antonio, Texas, beginning on June 2, 2026. What should have been a simple three-day family trip became an extremely stressful experience due to repeated communication failures and service issues.
The problems began immediately after I made my reservation. Approximately 15 minutes after booking my travel package, I decided I wanted to cancel the hotel portion of the reservation. Although I understood that the hotel was listed as non-refundable, I contacted Priceline to see if an exception could be made since the booking had just been completed.
The Priceline representative informed me that while the reservation was non-refundable, they could contact the hotel and request an exception on my behalf. I agreed and was placed on hold while the representative attempted to reach the hotel. When the representative returned to the call, I was informed that no one had answered, but a message had been left and Priceline would follow up the next day.
Unfortunately, this process continued for nearly a month. I repeatedly contacted Priceline seeking an update, and each time I was told that Priceline was attempting to contact the hotel and would follow up to obtain a clear answer. After weeks of back-and-forth communication and uncertainty, a refund was finally approved only three days before my scheduled trip.
The issues continued on the day of travel. My American Airlines flight was delayed three separate times, ultimately requiring the airline to rebook my flight. As soon as I learned of the changes, I contacted Priceline to ensure my rental car reservation would remain available. I specifically requested that Priceline notify Fox Rent A Car of my updated arrival information.
The Priceline representative again placed me on hold to contact Fox. When they returned to the call, I was informed that no one had answered but that a note had been left regarding my delayed arrival. The representative also assured me that Fox had a policy of holding vehicles for up to 24 hours and that I should have no issues obtaining my rental car upon arrival.
However, when I arrived in San Antonio, I discovered that Priceline had not left any note or notification regarding my delayed arrival. The Fox representative informed me that my reserved vehicle had already been given away. As a result, I was forced to accept a smaller vehicle than the midsize car I had paid for.
The cumulative impact of these issues was substantial. Due to the repeated flight delays and the rental car complications, I lost valuable time during a very short three-day trip. I was originally scheduled to arrive at approximately 8:30 a.m. on June 3, 2026, but did not arrive until approximately 5:00 p.m. Because of these delays and the rental car situation, I missed an entire day with my family and effectively lost a significant portion of my trip.
While I understand that flight delays can occur and are outside of Priceline's control, the communication failures and lack of follow-through regarding both the hotel cancellation request and the rental car notification created unnecessary stress and inconvenience. I relied on the assurances provided by Priceline representatives, only to discover that the promised actions had not been completed.
Tried to extend....they said its not available...IT IS..I Booked via someone else.
Tried to extend one day at hotel. THey said there wasnt any availability. Called the hotel and looked online and there is plenty of rooms and availability. Hotel even said they would waive any fees to extend the hotel stay if priceline said there were fees. Tried to talk to a supervisor....they said they would call me back. Never got a call back. Called again and waited for hour on phone to reserve. They said they would have a supervisor call me back. Never called me back. Ill never use this company again. EVER! They say its non refundable and you cant add one day to the reservation. THis part baffles me as they could have made more money adding one day. Il never use them ever.
if I could give zero stars
if I could give zero stars, I would do not book with Priceline ever they just want your money. They have stolen $500 from me and won’t give it back.
I want to share my experience with…
I want to share my experience with Priceline in hopes of finally getting a resolution.
I booked travel through Priceline and encountered an issue that has now been dragging on for months. Throughout this process, I was initially informed that a refund had been processed, only to later be told that no refund would be issued. As a result of the delays and conflicting information, I lost the opportunity to make alternative travel arrangements and suffered a financial loss.
Most recently, I was advised that my case had been escalated to Viva Aerobus for a higher-level review and that a response would be provided within 72 hours. That deadline has long passed, and I have yet to receive any meaningful update or resolution.
As a customer, I understand that issues can arise. What is unacceptable is the lack of communication, repeated delays, and contradictory information provided throughout this process.
I am respectfully requesting that Priceline review my case, provide a clear explanation of what occurred, and work toward a fair resolution.
Ticket #: 4220004
@Priceline, I have been patient and cooperative throughout this process. Please help resolve this matter and restore confidence in your customer service.

Refunds /Cancellation
Now the booking process was great no problems. Now I don't fault priceline.com for the nasty and disgusting room, but when I wanted a refund we had to go through AI to get this done. There was roaches on the walls mold in the bathroom and silver fish in the tub. Let's no talk about when we pulled back the covers. Pure disgusting. We were there all of 15 min in the room and they told us to get the refund we had to go through our booking agent. Which we tried. No humans to talk to. Just kept saying it was nonrefundable. The manager at the hotel tried to give us another room but it was even worse than the first he tried stepping on the roach before we notice. But you know where there is one there are so many more. As easy as it was to book the trip you should be able to cancel the trip or be able to change hotels. When I logged in they directed me to "Penny" the AI assistant. I'm over this, there are certain things I need a human to do that AI can't help me with.
Priceline is an awfully untrustworthy…
Priceline is an awfully untrustworthy unreliable booking site. I booked my flight and it gave me option to change the ticket for free. Later on, when I requested for change of date. I was charged over USD 300. There was only one carry on allowed on this booking.( no checked in baggage)
When I requested for cancellation 6 months in advance, I was told that there would be 0 refund as company policy did not allow refund on cancellation.
Other booking agencies online give options right away at the time of booking, for change of date or cancellation with reasonable fee.
I would not recommend for any kind of booking on Priceline as they over charge and give flimsy excuses to deny to fulfill their commitments or overcharge against the traveller’s rights given on the ticket. I made a mistake of booking a flight through Priceline without consulting its reviews here.
Disgraceful Priceline give you…
Disgraceful Priceline give you expensive car rental through Easirent supposed less expensive, but Easirent screw you with extras not mentioned. $65 a day insurance. $25 a day additional admin fee on tolls, above actual toll fees. Priceline doesn't care.
Refund being withheld after being lied to and manipulated by Priceline
Update 6/12/26
I have proof in writing from the hotel contradicting Priceline. My refund was in fact approved nearly a month ago. I was approved for a 3 night refund this entire time. A manager confirms this in writing. I have the screenshot and I’ve sent it to my credit card company, Priceline, and posted it across the internet.
I checked in on 5/19/26 for what was meant to be a four night stay at the Dolphin Sands. That evening, a couple of hours after checking in, I ate at the Coastal Grill that is within the hotel downstairs. I ate a crab cake dinner and became violently ill all night.
Around 8:00AM on 5/20/26, I went to the front desk to speak with Mariah to let her know that I was sick and needed to leave. She told me that guests have been complaining for days about getting sick from seafood at their restaurant. Mariah said that a guest had to stay an extra day because they were too sick to travel. While we were talking, a woman and her son came up behind us and mentioned that her son was sick all night after eating at the same restaurant. Mariah said, “Maybe I should tell someone.” I told her she needs to because kids should not be getting sick. After asking some further questions, I learned that she had not told the restaurant or a manager about the illnesses. I was very confused and scared about what had happened to me and what was happening to others.
Mariah told me that she put notes in the system for her manager, and for Priceline, which is how I purchased the stay, for a refund due to a medical event. I told her that I would even be fine with paying for the one night that I was there. I felt like that was reasonable. The total was $1,008.68. I was told that the resort fee and the parking fee (separate charge) would be removed from my card and I would only pay for one night which is what happened. Mariah told me to contact Priceline when I got home to begin the refund process for the stay. I contacted Priceline as soon as I got home on 5/20/26 and I explained the situation and I was told that Priceline would take care of it and I felt that everything was going to work out so I just focused on getting better.
Days went by without any communication from anyone. I followed up with Priceline on 5/22/26 and they told me that they can’t get a hold of the hotel and they even sent me documentation of this. I’ve attached the screenshot. I contacted the hotel at 11:52AM on 5/22/26 and spoke with a man with an “M” name. I believe it was Michael or similar, but I cannot recall his name unfortunately. You will have record of this call. I was told by this man that the notes are still in the system and that the manager is aware and they are just waiting to hear from Priceline. He told me that he added more notes in the system before we hung up. He confirmed the refund is approved and they are just waiting on Priceline. I attempted to get a manager on the phone twice and was placed on hold. I never was able to speak to a manager and not one person from the hotel or restaurant attempted to contact me, check on me, get additional information, etc.
Today 6/5/26, I called and spoke with Priceline and they are now telling me that the hotel is saying that they denied the refund and she couldn’t explain why or any further details. It was very odd and I could tell the Priceline rep was surprised as well by what they were saying because what they told me and supposedly documented was the complete opposite. I let Priceline know that all of the interactions with this hotel and their staff was on video in the lobby. They have cameras everywhere. The calls should have been recorded as well so that is further proof.
Priceline will be contacting them again and I have to wait another 3-5 days while they make that attempt to see what the result is. I have been patient and kind, probably more than I should have been. I got very sick because of this hotel and restaurant’s negligence and then I was manipulated and lied to. Nobody deserves to be treated this way and I am not going away until you do the right thing.
the worst company ever...details just…
the worst company ever...details just too much...guaranteed me breakfast as part of reservation...confirmation did not reflect that...called customer service...they reviewed the recorded call...sided with me and in an email STATED that my breakfast should have been included and to forward the receipt in a PDF to them upon completion of my trip...i have spent literally hours trying to get my 91.00 back (4 days of breakfast) and all i get is a run around...time after time...their goal, just wear me down...but frankly, not even their goal....they just dont know what they are doing...and this from a person who never leaves negative reviews...i to the point now that it has nothing to do with the 91.00....it's the principle...i'm done with them and so should you...

If I could give a -0 rating I would
If I could give a -0 I would. I used Penny Chat to cancel the insurance on my booking. Was asked if i wanted to cancel the room too. I said no, only the insurance. On Friday, June 5th when looking at my email for the address I found that my room was canceled. Spoke to priceline and was told they couldn't do anything about it. I asked them to look at the chat and they said they couldn't, I asked for a supervisor and was told it would be escalated and I would hear something in 24 hours. Today is Wednesday, June 10th and haven't heard anything so I called. They could find no escalation (I could barely understand him) so I asked to talk to a supervisor. He said there was a wait to speak to a supervisor and they would call me back. Said it was a 6 minute wait, it's been over an hour and I am still waiting...I will never use Priceline.com again.
