Very easy to get a quote to pickup a long ase clock. I was kept up to date about the pickup which was a couple of counties away & the day before delivery. The morning of the delivery I received an update by email which was great. When the delivery van arrived things couldn't have been smoother polite, helpful & efficient.

Never used s courier service before. Really please with the process. Good communication throughout and service prompt and efficient

Unfortunately, my experience was very mixed, which is a real shame because I used this company specifically following my mother’s recommendation. She had used them twice previously and they had been fantastic, so I had no hesitation in booking.

Booking and payment were easy, and the collection from my mother’s house was excellent. The two gentlemen were courteous, polite and extremely careful with both the furniture and her property. I genuinely couldn’t fault them.

Unfortunately, the delivery at my end was a completely different experience, and this is the reason I can only give 3 stars.

The driver arrived and immediately told me how heavy the sideboard was. I explained that I knew it was heavy — that was precisely why I had paid a professional company to collect and deliver it. The weight was mentioned several more times and I got the distinct impression that he was hoping I might provide some assistance.

I was then rather surprised when the second person got out of the van and was a lady wearing a dress and flip-flops. For a large, very heavy piece of furniture, she simply did not appear appropriately dressed or equipped to be moving it safely.

They put the sideboard on its side onto a flat trolley and proceeded to push and pull it around the property. At one point the lady trod on her own dress and stumbled, and then tripped over her flip-flops. It really didn't inspire confidence when they were manoeuvring such a heavy item through my home.

When they reached the bedroom, I explained that the carpet was brand new and asked if they could please not use the trolley to manoeuvre the sideboard into the room. They put a blanket down instead, but started positioning it facing the wall. When I asked them to turn it around so that I could actually use it, this was met with a lot of huffing and puffing. There was also quite a lot of conversation between them that I couldn't understand, but the tone and body language made me feel as though I had asked for something completely unreasonable.

There was then a relatively small occasional chair to bring in, which I assumed would be straightforward. Unfortunately, this also seemed to become a major undertaking and, in getting it from the front door to the living room, they somehow managed to leave scuff marks on virtually every wall along the way.

Once they had left, I also discovered that the chair was covered in black dirt/residue and needed to be thoroughly vacuumed and washed down. The sideboard had a sticky substance over it which, although I obviously cannot say for certain what it was, looked very much as though a drink had been spilled over it and allowed to dry.

I know these pieces left my mother's house in impeccable condition. By the time they arrived with me, they honestly felt a little as though I'd received furniture from a charity collection rather than items that had been professionally transported between two homes.

Thankfully, there is no permanent damage. I've managed to remove the scuff marks from the walls and have cleaned both the sideboard and chair, so ultimately nothing has been lost other than my time and confidence in the service.

And that's really the disappointing part. I know this company can do better. My mother has had two excellent experiences with them, and the collection team on this occasion were superb. I actually looked for a way to contact the company directly rather than leaving a Trustpilot review because I don't believe one poor experience necessarily reflects the company as a whole.

Unfortunately, though, this particular delivery was awkward, careless and well below the standard I expected from a professional furniture delivery service. I was left feeling as though the size and weight of the furniture were an inconvenience to the people delivering it, despite that being precisely the service I had paid for.

I've given 3 stars because it wouldn't be fair to disregard the excellent booking experience, my mother's previous experiences or the fantastic collection team. But this particular delivery team really let the company down, and sadly it has left enough of a bad taste that I would now seriously think twice before using the company again.

Excellent delivery service! They send regular updates on the delivery day to give you an accurate time your parcel will be delivered! For me this was important as the package was large and heavy and required a couple of my colleagues to help carry it so I knew when to have them ready. Both the man and lady who delivered my parcel were friendly and patient! I would definitely recommend this company!

Do not use this company if you have items that need caring for they have damaged my motor bike costing myself over 2000 even though i payed insurance they will not honer this the drivers were rude uncaring and obviously very carless the company will not honer their promise if they damage your items they can not be trusted if you care about your items they are not worth the risk

Just superb people to deal with polite courteous delivery guys excellent communication throuout the whole process
