Do not rent from this company, they have been known to write fake reviews to improve their rating. There’s even been Facebook pages set up to highlight the zero professionalism shown by this company. Family run business by people who have zero empathy or experience in how to deal with tenants from unprofessional emails to ignoring requests for deposits unless to go through the legal route. Avoid at all costs

The team at raspberry lettings were really lovely, the move was very straightforward and any queries have been quickly answered.
The property is a beautiful space and the furnishings provided are great.
Would recommend to others to rent here.

I have recently moved out of Blakeridge Mills after staying there for 9 months, we had a lovely time there, the apartment was clean and fresh with ample facilities for us. We left the apartment as we found it and received our deposit back in good time. No issues

Me and my boyfriend have recently moved in to a raspberry letting property and I honestly cannot fault them. Harriet has been great with any questions we had and very welcoming when coming to view and then move in to the property. Although we have not been here long we are really happy with the flat we have.

I will write this review as a past tenant as I’m not moved out and just got £500 of my £700 deposit back which I’m very happy with as ive been told to not expect my deposit back by people who live there or lived there previously. No complaints for raspberry letting personally just some things are annoying in regards to living in an apartment but that’s just my personal preference

Me and my boyfriend were tenants here for 18 months.
The flats were really nice and Dave was always on hand to help. We found that all the staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough for us.
Only thing to let it down were the other neighbours we had, some were very noisy and we could hear everything because the walls aren’t the thickest but all in all I would recommend.

Lived in a beautiful two bed flat in the mill for 6 months before relocating due to work. The landlady’s were always really helpful and any queries answered the same day and sorted very quickly. The facilities were excellent, no faults at all. The mill is also very conveniently located to Batley town centre and the doctors and pharmacy. The flats were finished to a high standard yet very reasonably priced, even for the north!! Would recommend.

Nice modern apartments. Looked after really well by Harriet. Highly recommend them.

Just moved in to no23 the jubilee mill and it is very spacious with modern decor and very nicely furnished. I lived in one of these apartments a few years ago so I knew coming back here was an easy decision.

I lived in the mills for 8 years in various flats over the years, i cant recommend the place enough. The Binks family are fantastic, the flats are amazing so close to all local and motorway routes, the facilities are maintained to the highest standard by the two on site engineers and cleaned to an immaculate standard. If you are looking for somewhere to live this is the place for you without question

I stayed here for 6 months and the process of getting the flat, being fully left alone with privacy, as well as the landlords dealing with any issues quickly, was splendid.

I never got to use the swim facilities due to COVID and the process for booking and paying was a bit vague. The bins were also right outside the flat so I just had to walk across the road to empty them, that was nice.

My only issue with this place was the car park. I constantly had people from other buildings parking right outside my front door and the landlords wouldn’t do anything about it, meaning I had to park all the way in the back overflow car park despite having a space outside my door.

The car park was also fully dirt so my car was muddy 24/7, that was a nightmare. Not to mention that it’s right next to a B&M so trucks block the entrance to the car park 3 days a week. I had to sit there for 15 minutes just to get out or into my own car.

Other than that, the deposit was returned within 10 days and the landlords had no complaints. Great place to live!

Disgusting treatment by Harriet. We paid £200 for use of the leisure facilities, luckily we don’t rent form these scammers but wanted make use of the on site leisure centre that Raspberry Lettings own. After paying they did not respond to emails or calls for over a week, which meant we couldn’t get access to the gym as it requires a separate fob. In this time I tried to book gym and pool slots through email and phone, again getting ignored. Then after nearly 2 weeks after paying I decided to use the gym anyway. Harriet then rudely sent me an email revoking our membership and refusing refund for entering the facility without a booking. I explained I had tried to contact over and over and was getting ignored, I apologised for entering without a booking and suggested a better booking system because clearly it wasn’t working if all my 10 emails were missed. She refused to see any sense, sent rude and unprofessional replies and then ignored both me and my private landlord (who is absolutely amazing). She is now refusing a refund, illegally holding the £200 and preventing our use of the gym and pool and ignoring all contact. Avoid these people at all costs, they are the most unprofessional and unreasonable company I have ever come across and think they are better than everyone. Oh and the positive reviews are likely due to them offering free gym fobs to new tenants for a 5 star rating.

I have just finished a 6 month rental of an apartment in The Pavilion at Blakeridge Mill, Batley.
From my very first contact with Harriet of Raspberry Lettings I was impressed with her professional, courteous and friendly manner.
The apartment was first class (and I am comparing to many apartments rented by my two sons!!) and any requests I made (lock repair, new chair, swim bookings, sky installation) were all dealt with quickly and efficiently.
For the record, this is a genuine honest review and my deposit was returned promptly.
I suggest some of the other tenants who have penned critical reviews should look after their apartment better and then they may not struggle to get their deposits back!!

Lived in Blakeridge Mill for approx 3 months, whole process from start to finish was dealt with professionally by Harriet and Hannah. Dave the maintenance man is a legend and helps you whenever he can. For everyone worried about the deposit, as long as you respect the flat, clean it regularly and take care of the furniture, you shouldn’t have to worry, mine was returned within 4 days of me leaving the apartment. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is the car park is a bit of a nightmare, parking at the complex is awful and the barrier system just does not work effectively. The parking lot hasn’t has tarmac laid yet so cars are just filthy 24/7, but if this was to change, it would be an improvement dramatically.

Myself and boyfriend moved into blakeridge mills September 2020. The flat was really well presented and had everything we needed for our first place together.
We made the decision to move out in April 2021 as we have a baby on the way and needed something with a garden. Both Harriet and hannah were a huge help and were quick to fill in our referencing for our new place which made the move far easier and more relaxed.
We moved out 10th April and our desposit was returned in full within the 10 days (this was the time frame we were given when we handed in our notice) with no issues.
Our overall experience with raspberry lettings has been very pleasant and hassle free and we can’t fault them

We couldn’t have been happier with our apartment. It was extremely spacious and modern with the added bonus of being furnished which really made a difference when choosing a place to live within the area. Very reasonable price considering how nice the apartment is and we got our full deposit back within a matter of days of moving out which was excellent. The staff on site are all lovely and approachable - no issue is too much for them. Parking for us wasn’t a big problem due to us being in an apartment away from the main mills however it was mainly how other people parked (badly) which caused a few issues but there was plenty of parking around the other side. We never had any problems whilst living there and were really sad to leave due to buying a house out of area. Would definitely recommend living here for anyone considering, you won’t regret it. I moved into Jubilee Mills just under a month ago due to needing somewhere quick to move to due to a vulnerable family member being at risk during the pandemic. Hannah and Harriet both understood the situation, and were very helpful and swift in finding the right property for me. All questions were answered swiftly. Would deffo recommend.

We recently moved into an apartment at Ledgard Wharf in Mirfield which was let by Raspberry Lettings. We felt assured given that the main journey was virtual, by email & telephone due to the current Covid-19 restrictions, calls & emails were dealt with promptly & continued support where required provided without delay or issue. Upon moving into the apartment it was spotless, fresh new paintwork made this the move as expected. Whilst on inspection there are a few minor defects spotted, promptly provided images & detail to Harriet Hunter within just a few minutes we received a response email with the plumber/maintenance provider copied in, whilst there's no immediate impact we are hopeful & confident that given our long term plan to stay here we will see these defects sorted anyway.
