Books are advertised for sale, a delivery address is requested. One might assume that a hard copy would be achieved, but NO! These are ebooks and no refund is given even if the link they sent remains... See more

I ordered a book which appeared to be…
I ordered a book which appeared to be physical and only received a download which I don’t want so sane as last reviewer. I have asked for a refund and will report back. If I don’t hear within a week I will claim a refund from my credit card company.
scammers not book sellers
yep the site does not tell you that these are e books and its a total scam keep away from them I've cancelled my card so hopefully they wont get my money I've also reported them to Police Action Fraud and would urge anyone else who has been scammed to do the same.
Fake website
Fake website. Suggest they are selling book with pictures etc, reference free shipping and it turns out books are digital. Refuse to respond to emails or issue refund. Avoid!!!!!
Scam site
Same as every other review. Ordered collection of books for my son that were quite blatantly advertised as physical copies. Checked my emails a week later to see if they had been dispatched yet, only to discover that all you get is a link to download the books in an email. No idea if the downloads work but I'm not interested even if they do. Will attempt to get a refund from my bank and report to trading standards.
Fake website purporting to sell books
Fake website purporting to sell books, asking for delivery address and delivery details but you then get an email saying it's digital. Then they refuse to refund.
Not only that but they set up a regular payment on your account without you knowing. **Contact your bank immediately to get it stopped**
Yup totally got scammed!
Yup totally got scammed, payed for what I thought was hard copy and got an email from a gmail account saying "Please note that you bought a digital book". Asked for a refund was told no refunds on digital which I wasn't made aware of before I purchased it.
FYI you can report the website here in the uk www{dot}ncsc{dot}gov{dot}uk/section/about-this-website/report-scam-website
And also if you fell into this via a google ad you can also report the google add if you click the dot icon next to the sponsored ad.
They are breaking distance selling act, GDPR with using the their gmail email and not the company email stated on their website and I'd suggest they probably don't have the copy right to be sending out links of digital copies of books either. Fingers crossed someone takes them down soon cause with over 200 reviews on here they are making a killing off this scam!
100% scam
100% scam. Unfortunately, I have purchased what I thought would be a phisical books for my child, but ended up with download link. Avoid at all cost!!!
Scammers shop: digital sold as physical.
Google search returned an add for this shop for a set of 9 books. Upon viewing the product page there was no mention to the books being digital or physical but everything in the page and checkout process leads the costumer to believe they will be physical copies:
1) the product webpage says "availability: in stock"
2) they ask for a "shipping address"
3) they have a text box for "useful comments" (where I left directions for delivery)
4) stating at checkout "Delivery: free"
And not mentioning anywhere during the process these would be digital copies, or the type of digital copies or the form of delivery of said digital copies (which would alert the costumers to the fact they are in fact, digital copies).
As soon as I paid and received the confirmation email which contained reference to the fact these are digital and the link for download i replied immediately stating that I thought I was buying physical, would not download the products and required a refund as I was not aware these were digital.
I got reply after reply saying the sale was final and no refunds could be issued for digital copies, in spite of having written to them repeatedly saying there was no way I could know these were digital as that is not mentioned anywhere...
Terrible costumer service, very unprofessional and incompetent shop.
Not using again.
Update: Spoke to my bank and they were able to return the amount paid. They also told me there was a standing order for more payments with this shop, which I did not authorize and was not aware was put in place! I cancelled it immediately and wrote to Regbooksi to demand they delete my data from their records, according to GDPR UK law.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS
AVOID AT ALL COSTS. YOU DONT GET WHAT YOU THINK YOU ARE GETTING. BOOKS ARE DIGITAL ONLY, NOT HARDBACKS. TOTAL SCAMMERS
OMG!!! What a scam!!! This is going all over social media.
OMG! What a scam.
I got an email to download the books. So why do they ask for a shipping address and say it's free shipping? People obviously think it's a the hardcopies as shown in the pictures. You should be ashamed of yourselves!!! Nothing but criminals!!!
Incorrect goods delivered
As with every other review, I purchased what I thought were physical books but received Ebooks instead.
The company refused to accept that they hadn't supplied the correct goods and are currently refusing a refund.
Do not purchase from this company.
If I could give zero stars I would
If I could give zero stars I would. Like many other reviews which I have now unfortunately read, at no point was it communicated I was buying digital copies in the purchase process. The description named the product as ‘paperback’. The phone number is not valid. I notice their refunds policy states no refunds for digital books, but since this is a case of false advertising I will report the company to Trading Standards if necessary. Take your custom elsewhere!
Wow!!!!!!
Wow!!!!!!! I’ve just realised I’ve been scammed. Download???? What the actual. It seemed too good to be true and it was. Regbooksi the universe sees you.
Scam
Don't buy from this company you don't get books just a email for digital books.
Don't give in keep emailing them I threatened them with trading standards and police and authorities.
Eventually they refunded me
This company is totally unfriendly and…
This company is totally unfriendly and misleading.
No where was Intoldnthat I was purchasing an ebook.
I believe they purposefully mis-sold to me and then refused a refund.
Will be escalating this as far as I can as it’s not fair!
Digital only- not physical books sold
Like so many others, I foolishly clicked buy without researching the Company.
I wanted to buy the Harry Potter series and this company had them the cheapest.
What they didn’t say, anywhere! Was that the books they sell are digital only.
I asked for a refund and explained I hadn’t downloaded the books and no where on their site did it mention the product was digital. The reply was a short No, they don’t refund digital goods.
Avoid this fraudulent company at all costs, they are misrepresenting the goods they sell by obfuscating the format you receive.
I got scammed too
I got scammed too. Bought the books and then they sent me an email saying I can download them? On the website it was never mentioned I am buying digital products
One star is to many …
One star is to many total scam I ordered a book which was advertised as hardback waited 2 weeks for it to arrive contacted them to be told it is a download I have gone back and I have received no download I offered to pay extra thinking it was my mistake no response then I ask for a refund which was refused .its not a lot of money but if they do this to everyone it is ....avoid this company
These guys are running a scam
These guys are running a scam. Obviously invested in SEO, they are quite high in the search engine and deceptively cheap. You think you’ll get a good secondhand deal, but you get a bad PDF copy. It is not clear at all that you are buying a digital copy of the book, which they probably don’t have rights to sell.
When you realise you made a mistake, it is already too late and they send you an arsey e-mail telling you they won’t give you a refund.
Avoid at peril unless you are in the market for a dodgy digital copy.
Total scam
Total scam.
They are downloadable books. No physical books were sent. Have contacted over and over and no response or refund. I stupidly didn't Google company before purchasing.
Please don't be fooled like me.
