same as others, did not realise it was digital until email arrived with download (which I did not click on) tried cancelling and requested a refund. Reply was "sorry this sale is final. No refund for digital goods". so have launched a reclaim through credit card company. This amounts to a scam (only 12.50) but will go through trading standards if necessary on principle .

I'm the same as every one else's comments. This is a con scam company. Only download books although not advertised any where on there website. Trading Standards and the legitimate advertising standards don't help after complaining. ??

They just send you a link to download pdf's of the books. No real copies!

I just bought from him thinking it was a book. Looks like I was the victim of the scam like everyone else. Can he not be reported? No where on the buying page does it mention that it’s digital. I asked for a refund and was told it was a sale. What a crook.

Ordered the new bored of lunch airfryer book on this website as it was coming up a few pound cheaper than other website. Days went by, no confirmation email, no book and the money had been taken from my account.

Submitted a couple “contact us” forms and rang the mobile number on their website. Got no response.

Finally days later a response to my email saying no refund on digital purchases.

I replied stating that it does not state anywhere on the website it is a digital purchase and I never even received a digital copy. I stated that I would be making my bank aware it was a scam and I’d be leaving a negative review and what do you know they were all of a sudden able to refund me and the refund would take 5-10 days so we will see if it actually reaches my account.

AVOID !!! Not even worth 1 Star ! They advertised a book, which turned out to be an online-book. NOWHERE on the advert was the description of it being an online book. Delivery via a download link. Complained but “no refund for online products”. Never a name as signature under any email. Refund received fairly swiftly, once I mentioned to do further communication via Trading Standards and Local authorities Liverpool for misleading advertising and refusing to refund. AVOID !!!

Unfortunately I fell for this too have emailed numerous times.and kept getting a generic .sorry no refunds.. explained they are misleading with advertising products and informed them I would be contacting trading standards ,police replied saying they would refund still waiting ..PLEASE.PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR.MONEY. Wish I'd have read reviews before clicking

100% MISLEADING - 100% MONEY HUNGRY SCAMMERS
They advertise books and NOWHERE does it say you will not actually receive a paper version of the book. In fact it asks for a delivery address, which adds to the expectation of receiving an actual paper version of the book.
Once you have paid and your hard earned cash is credited to these scammers, you are sent an email with a digital download.
When you ask for a refund, they state that NO REFUNDS on digital books. To be fair it DOES say this in their Ts&Cs however it DOES NOT say anywhere that the purchase YOU are making is a digital one.
Been referred to Trading Standards, Action Fraud, Police and the Bank, but it looks like Regbooksi is based in Vilnus Lithuania as payment is made to Tarchern which also support another similar scam via TheGlobalWorld.co.uk, which funnily enough sells books that turn out to be misleading email linked downloads.
They have only agreed to refunding me after I notified them that I have raised this with authorities, however they are yet to actually refund me. Lets see how long that takes. Won't be as quick as their email to me to say I've paid and by the way its a digital book your getting

Scam - there are no books.
I pointed out to them via email that this was misselling (misleading product description) and against distance selling laws (14 day cooling off period) and I would reclaim via my bank if they didn't refund me immediately. Also mentioned that I had been in touch with Trading Standards, and would be in touch with police if I didn't get my refund. This seemed to work as I got my refund the next day.
I will be keeping a careful eye on my credit card and credit record for anything unusual.
I would advise people not to click on the ebook link as well, just in case this is worse than a dodgy pdf.
It is interesting to note that the Liverpool address they give is just a domestic flat/terraced house; I wonder if the owner knows!

This is a scam. I believe they 'trade' by various names. They offer low price books but then send you a link to a digital download rather than a physical book. No where on their website does it state that this will be the case and they will not refund you. I haven't clicked on the download link because I don't trust it not to be a virus or something.

I have reported to trading standards but they will likely just change their name again.

Very poor experience, never stated that the book was digital and was buying for gift for my 76y mother. Company refused a refund and now not answering my messages.

Do not purchase! They e-mail you a link to a digital book, but nowhere does it say this before you order. You think you are buying a physical book. No refunds for digital purchases of course! Absolute fraudsters - how are these still trading?!

Very disappointing purchased 4 cook books for presents only to find out after purchase they were digital books. When I complained and asked for a refund this was refused. Would never use again beware

This is a scam. Like others have said, they sell you a cheap book, but only after purchasing you are told that they are digital. This is unlawful. Report them to Liverpool Trading Standards, they should be shut down ASAP

I was sure buying an real book but… on description was nothig about digital version and after payment ther send me email about digital version and i can download, doesn't want to give me my money back. DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!

Thought I was buying an actual book but after payment told that it was a download, at no point was this mentioned, DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!
