Avoid!! I didn’t do my due diligence and Google before purchasing. Nowhere on the overview did it say it was a pdf and not a book (it actually says book at the end on my email too!). The company said, through resolver, they would cancel my order and refund. Then two hours later, said no refund. I’m so upset and frustrated as I really believe this is fraud.

Same as others not clear it's a pdf. Awaiting them to say no refund available now see no Google review option and trustpilot didn't flag up initially have spoken to my bank who are looking into it paperback or paper copy is not the same as pdf totally misleading

Total scammers!!!! And no point on their website they advertise that they are selling you an ebook! They advertise a hard copy book then send you a download of the book! How is this company still running? Im taking this further and will get my money back!

Wish I had read the reviews before ordering! I thought I was buying a physical book, no mention ANYWHERE of it being a digital download or ebook. I've triple checked their website and they're totally at it, scamming many people this way. I've emailed them, threatened them with court if they do not refund me which I'm happy to follow through on if necessary, but no refund forthcoming as yet. They keep sending the same generic email over and over. AVOID this company! Total con artists!!!

Was no mention of digital book in the description, absolutely fuming. Requested a refund as I believed I was buying a hard copy they sent a generic email saying no refunds?!! But the description of the product I believed I was buying was a physical item!! Page is a SCAM DO NOT USE!! Will be contacting trading standards

Awful company. No mention of E-books anywhere. I didn’t open the link in my email. Threatened trading standards, Google’s ads, a lawyer friend and my bank and they DID refund me after a few back and forth emails. Don’t give up getting your refunds!! Keep emailing until they do it.

I ordered from this company. I then see all the comments on here.
I emailed them and stated if they don’t send out the books or refund me then I will be contact trading standards as it’s false advertisement. They refunded me my money within hours. Unless you want a digital download that doesn’t download fully then do not order from this company.

Unfortunately I did not read the reviews before I purchased by book and I was scammed too. I bought this book for my mother and she has no digital devices, at no point in the purchasing process did they mention that this was a digital book, they even asked for a shipping address! Their contact number does not work. I have reported to trading standards and google - suggest others do the same!

Got caught out like everyone else! Advertised as a book then once purchased its a download. Not anywhere on the website does it state that. Do not purchase from here. Total waste of money

Saw a book advertised and it said format hardback so I purchased 2 as one was for a present. I automatically was sent a pdf and when asked for refund was told no refunds for digital purchases even though I never opened pdf. I DO NOT recommend using this so called company as you will not get the product you think you are getting. Please do not waste your money.

Purchased a book which indicated I would get a physical copy as they asked for my address, and mentioned delivery..

However, they forgot to mention the book was a PDF file, nothing stated on their website.

Very poor service and false advertisement. They should be advertising specifically PDF reader ONLY!

Won’t refund me, I’ve asked for their complaints procedure however, they have no responded. How convenient.

Unfortunately I didn’t read the reviews before paying for the bored of lunch book ! No email sent to me to advise of order no working phone number contact form on website disabled !! Payment left my bank the day I ordered 10th Jan !!!

Similar experience with others.
They DO NOT offer physical books.
Yet they are dodgy and do not mention anything about it is digital copy.
Dispute the payment with your credit card company and get the communications email ready for submission

RIP OFF - AS OTHER REVIEWS HAVE STATED ORDERED A BOOK, ASKED FOR DELIVERY ADDRESS AND THEN SENT BY EMAIL DOWNLOAD WHICH I DIDNT WANT - NO REFUND AND NO MENTION ON THEIR WEBSITE DOWNLOADS ONLY - THE DOWNLOAD DOES NOT EVEN WORK SO TOTALLY USELESS AND WASTE OF MONEY

Just an update to my earlier review.... They are deceptive as they don't advertise that it's a digital download.

But after I pestered them they did give me a refund. Keep badgering them and you might get your money back.

I told them about my Trust Pilot review, I went to my bank and I used the Resolver website.

I'm not sure which one worked but I did get my money back.

But - to add another update... they are definitely dodgy because I emailed to acknowledge the refund, and I received an automatic reply which said 'Sorry the sale is final, no refunds'.

So they're clearly set up to be expecting complaints to the extent that they don't bother reading emails, and just send that standard reply as they expect all emails to be complaints!

How this company is still operating is beyond me. There fraudsters.

Keep emailing them though and you might get your refund.

I wish I had read the reviews first. I too purchased a 'book', only to discover that it was a download. Nowhere on the page did it say it was a download nor on the payment page. It asked for a delivery address which again lead me to believe it was an actual book. Emailed immediately on receipt of my 'download' notification to ask for a refund - told, like the other reviewers, that there are no refunds for downloads. Don't buy from this seller unless you are happy to receive your books as a download.

Please avoid this website. Absolutely disgusting service! Please please DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM!!!

I have also been scammed. My 9 yr old son has been waiting for his copies of Dog Man children's books. They have arrived as a download even though i gave my delivery address. Shocking! What a waste of money. Do not use!

False advertising for a book which turned out to be an ebook
