Always great service, would never buy from anyone else especially TVs.

I walked into store and was greeted straight away to offer help. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and just understood what I wanted. They showed me 3 options, and it was clear that 2 of them were a great match. I picked, placed the order for delivery, and was out the door happy... All in maybe 10 minutes.
I know the temptation in these situations is to get see the products, and get the advice, then go find it cheaper online. If everyone did that, these shops wouldn't exist... And to be honest, having now looked, the price was spot on too.

Went to the Bristol store late pm on Sunday the 6th September and purchased a Denon turntable ..No problem at all and was served by a very helpful assistant ..and very pleased with the turntable, I’m now able to play my LPs from way back …thanks

We are an older couple just wanting a turntable to play are sixties records. the service was excellent, we bought a turntable and speakers At home we put it together but on trying to play the records, they did not sound good We returned to the shop and explained are problem. We asked if they would try and play the record on the their turntable (same as what we had bought), The sound was great and they explained what they thought we needed to do. At home we did what they said and the sound was brilliant. We can only say the service was great and all done with a smile

Staff were friendly, helpful, and I felt I was given good advice, but without undue pressure. I'm very pleased with the Argon Audio Fenris system I eventually bought.

Totally brilliant service from start to finish. Let us take our time, plenty of options to choose from. Did us a great deal, what's not to love. The staff were top notch, very knowledgable, wouldn't hesitate in using them again.

Some years later and I’m back in Richer Sounds buying a big screen OLED TV. This time it was Bristol branch, rather than Exeter.

Now I’m a bit of a tricky customer when it comes to hi-fi and TV. Because I used to sell it. Some decades ago mind, but I know when someone is trying to pull the wool over my eyes.

It’s never happened yet in an RS store. And Bristol staff didn’t let me down either.

As a professional buyer (now) I’m always looking for someone who listens to what my requirements are and matches that against the available products and then details the relative merits of those products. In enough detail that I get the benefits but not too much detail that I’m swamped with info and confused.
Step forward and take a bow Noah. Perfect level of listening skills and balanced explanation. Fine customer service, always apologising for when he had to switch his attention to helping the trainee who was serving someone else.

I purchased a Sony Bravia 8 which due to its size and new arrival to the market it had to be delivered - gutted as I wanted to take it home that day, but you know what? I so enjoyed my time in Store I didn’t really mind leaving empty handed but a lot of ££ lighter!

If you need to buy hi-fi or TV and you aren’t sure of where to start, or even if you are very clued up - pop into your local Richer Sounds and chat to them. You can’t buy it cheaper, and you will struggle to get better service. Maybe equal, but not better.

I’ve had several tv and hi-fi systems from Richer Sounds. Staff are always knowledgeable and helpful. They have found what they search for — A customer for life.

Excellent products, and extended warranty. Helpful and friendly staff. The ability to recycle the old equivalent TV was an added bonus.

Purchased a Yamaha RS202D (Black)
DAB/Bluetooth Stereo Receiver , collected at the Bristol branch.It was faulty, because the Bluetooth and radio tuner was not working.
The Receiver was replaced within a few days, and is working perfectly.

Really great service. We bought a TV from RS for the first time (they were recommended as we normally use John Lewis). TV kept turning itself off and sound would disappear if you paused a programme. They swapped it no issues. Only too happy to help us.
