Useless!

So you get a date and a time saying when your parcel is getting delivered. When it doesn't turn up you dont even get an explanation, just a fresh date and time for delivery. This happens frequently. Very disappointing when your looking forward to getting something. Evri and DPD much more efficient!

I am sure everyone else has an experience with royal mail, they have got so slow!
poor excuses like oh its a staff shortage. Nope not having that, after some digging I found out that they now prioritize the more profitable parcels . sadly that affects everyone in the shop online age, but you pay extra for 24 or 48 hour delivery and expect that to happen yet recent experience? 24 hour delivery booked and it arrived eight days later!!!!!!
shipped with tracking? "tracking will only be shown when the item has been delivered" really????

Absolutely shocking service

Absolutely shocking service. I placed an order with Dr Martens. I always have a safe place to leave my parcels. On my preferences on my app.
The parcel wasn't delivered. Taken away for next day delivery. This parcel was for a leaving gift from a group of people. NEEDED ON THE DAY not the next day. So thanks Royal Mail. You have completely ruined a special day for a special person who is travelling for a year (without their gift).Well done

Well nice to see that royal mails service just doesn't improve. In stoke on trent first had to shut my online business when couldn't keep up with items not arriving and now get no mail delivered. Get appointment letters through week after they happen and have at burslem office 4 runs to be done with only 3 posties. Absolutely shocking. Going to stop selecting royal mail as delivery option as its plain to see they can not cope. Now where's my post ??? Last 2 days parcel should of been delivered and nothing tracking makes no sense either.

Absolute awful service as usual

Absolute awful service as usual
Had a parcel delivered to the local post office as I thought it would be easier to pick up from as I know what a mission it is to get your parcel back if they deliver when you are not in so this should have been very easy and straightforward but no I tracked it all day and waited then I get a message returned to sender no explanation why can you get hold of them absolutely not!!! all round the houses on the website no help at all ☹️ Everytime it’s a Royal Mail delivery there’s always a problem why?

My Bithday card

My sister sent me a Birthday card on the4th July (second class) just arrived Friday 24 July, incompetent, disgraceful, disgusting, are just some of the terms to describe these imbeciles, if I ran my business the way these morons run the Royal mail I would go broke in a month, this is only one of many many failures in the past, important medical correspondence not delivered at all !!, the list goes on, I have told all my friends and relatives not to send anything via this incompetent business, but instead send a message, which will be better than lining the pockets of these cretins, they should be ashamed of themselves, management and workers alike, the term Royal should be removed from their title, and replaced with USELESS, whatsapp is a great alternative and costs nothing, don't fund these idiots.

I paid for Royal Mail’s collection…

I paid for Royal Mail’s collection service, but no one came to collect my parcel. I then booked and paid for a second collection, and exactly the same thing happened again.

The collection address was staffed and there were people there throughout the day, so there was no issue with access or availability.

The only communication I received was a generic email saying they were “unable to fulfil” the collection request and telling me to book another collection, without any explanation of what went wrong. After paying twice, this is simply unacceptable.

Customers shouldn’t have to keep rebooking and hoping someone turns up. A collection service should be reliable, or at the very least Royal Mail should provide a proper explanation when it fails.

Tracked parcel never turned up but was…

Tracked parcel never turned up but was marked as delivered. When I contacted them, half an hour wait, I was told it had been delivered to the wrong address, they would pick up and redeliver within 72 hours. Fast forward over a week and have heard nothing. Phoned up, another half hour, just to be told they had no record of a redelivery request and as far as they were concerned it had been delivered.

Absolutely appalling service

Absolutely appalling service.

Moved house and now paid twice for redirection to two different addresses just in case it was the one area that wasn’t doing a good job. Seems both areas are equally appalling. Both times, at £45.00 each, I have only ever received 3 letters!!!!!! All the rest have gone ‘missing’. Have put in a complaint but nothing has been done apart from sending me a renewal notice as this one is about to expire!!! No chance.

Why cant Royal Mail basically tell the time and follow their own emails with regards to deliveries.
Instead of wasting people's time and costing them money when they make sure they stay in to recieve a stated and confirmed email delivery. It is DISGUSTING and also BAD customer service.

Why are the Royal Mail allowed to…

Why are the Royal Mail allowed to provide such a disgusting service and get away with it??
Bought an item on the 13th July from not far from my address. Item was estimated 2 to 3 days tracked delivery. It's the 24th now and no sign! No information on tracking whatsoever. I'm going to have to contact the seller now and cancel to get my money back which means lost sales to him.
This is not an isolated case either. I find this quite a regular occurrence when using this service.
