Royal Mail and it’s zero chromosomes

Waited all day for my delivery just for the thick delivery driver to either deliver the item to the wrong address or pretend to deliver it and keep it for themselves. Not the first time this has happened Royal Mail is a sham and it’s workers haven’t got a functioning chromosome between them

Why do Winton DC chose to lie about attempting a delivery?

This is the second time Winton depot have made something up, to justify why they failed to deliver urgent medication.

The reason they gave, property inaccessible! That's odd, we sit on a main road, and I was working in the front garden? What a complete load of nonsense you give to justify not being bothered to attempt a delivery. Looking at your tracking, that package never left your depot.

If I could give zero I would, this is the second time they've done this on a Saturday?

Royal Mail wonder why they are losing…

Royal Mail wonder why they are losing market share, you pay for a 24 hour delivery and then get a message that your parcel will be delivered to be followed by it can’t be delivered which means no one at the local depot where the parcel is set can be bothered on a Saturday afternoon to deliver it to an address 1 mile away , thank goodness for all the other parcel companies who can deliver on time RIP Royal Mail it won’t be long before you vanish

Not impressed with the service!

One parcel, a large garden umbrella, had been delivered by Parcel Force to an unknown address. We have not received it.
Now, Royal Mail have said they have tried to deliver a book, but for some reason, that we can’t understand, they couldn’t .. the postman was at our house today delivering a parcel, when we returned home today. Very confused !

Carmarthen delivery service to Ceredigion - dreadful

Carmarthen sorting and delivery are really taking the mickey. Parcel tracking shows at Swansea yesterday, then in Carmarthen at lunchtime, email told me be delivered between 1.25 and 6.25 same day. No parcel, no update. Next day at 1.30ish get email telling me sorry your parcel had to be rerouted. What??? Scenic route via Ireland? Every time i am expecting a parcel that is to be delivered from Carmarthen the parcel does not get delivered on the day or tome state. Nor do many of their drivers care, got cctv, they drive like boy racers onto your land and in the lane.

Copy of tracking history

Your Item was received by Carmarthen DO on 24-07-2026 and is now due for delivery today.

The wee beggar must have escaped. Ups no silly me:

Sorry, your parcel from Amazon needed to be re-routed.
It's now on its way to you.

If you thought Evri was bad...

If you thought Evri was bad, you haven't had the true royal mail experience.

These guys will gaslight you into thinking your parcel is getting delivered... then they won't even bother trying to deliver it and say "you missed the delivery"

Then they'll reschedule it and give you time, only to gaslight you once again and not bother to deliver it.

The worst thing is they make it as hard as possible to actually speak to a human regarding your problems, and when you do, they tell you that they don't know where your package is nor what they can do.

Truly the worst delivery service to exist.

Appalling service !

I ordered urgently required antibiotics to be delivered within 24 hours as I’m going on holiday. Royal Mail sent the item to the wrong sorting office !!!! Contacting anyone to resolve this is impossible and extremely frustrating. I’m surprised this company is still in business. Dreadful service and not for the first time. The outcome of this is likely to be illness and unnecessary suffering . The dispensing pharmacy has been notified. Royal Mail needs a complete overhaul in my opinion . Any costs arising from medical problems encountered as a result of this will be claimed against this incompetent company.

Royal Mail Lost My Amazon Return and Failed to Investigate

I am extremely disappointed with Royal Mail's collection service and their customer support.
I booked a home collection for an Amazon return. On the collection day, a Royal Mail employee arrived earlier than the scheduled time in a red Royal Mail van, wearing Royal Mail clothing and identification. He told me he could not print the collection label because he did not have the required machine and that the Royal Mail system was undergoing maintenance. He said he would take my parcel back to the delivery office to print the label there. Because of this, I was not given a collection receipt or any proof that my parcel had been collected. I trusted what I was told and handed over my Amazon return. The parcel never reached Amazon. I contacted Royal Mail, not to ask for compensation, but simply to ask them to investigate where my parcel had gone. I asked them to identify who collected it, confirm whether it had reached the local delivery office, and help locate it. Instead of investigating my concerns, Royal Mail replied with a standard response explaining that they could not offer compensation because the sender would have to make any claim. This completely missed the point of my complaint. I was not asking for compensation—I was asking them to find the parcel that their employee collected from my home. Royal Mail failed to answer my questions or provide any meaningful investigation into what happened. Their response gave me the impression that my complaint had not even been properly read. As a result, my Amazon return has been lost and I have completely lost confidence in Royal Mail's collection service. If Royal Mail can collect a parcel without providing any proof of collection and then fail to investigate when it disappears, it raises serious concerns about their procedures and customer service. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Royal Mail's parcel collection service. If you are returning anything valuable, I would think very carefully before trusting them with your parcel.

My parcel got delayed AGAIN

It said it was going to arrive today (the day I am writing this) but hasn’t arrived and has been delayed AGAIN even though it said it was out for delivery. Today it is Friday and it was meant to get here on Tuesday but instead of that, they decided to ship it around the whole country

Further update

Sorry for my previous post which was a negative one but it should have been for the order company and not my main Royal Mail delivery man . And to his manger please can you kindly explain to him Bobby from Littleover Derby .

I think one star is over generous

I think one star is over generous. I live on a private farm road which is accessed through a gate with a code to open it. Despite using this gate code as the first line of my address Parcel Force seem unable to deliver. On the rare occasion they do manage to negotiate the gate, parcels are dumped at the next house they reach, with no regard to the address on the label. Service used to be reliable, but the last couple of years have been truly dreadful.
