Absolutely amazing service and flight well done

This is a carry on from the review of been taken to Ibiza which was awesome and now this is my review of coming home with ryan air. The flight back was on time. I was actually nice for the first time in a long time to wake up to a flight not been cancelled!(easy jet naming no names) We took a lovely taxi to the airport chilled out for abit then got on the flight we were greeted by lovely air hostesses and host and made the flight pleasurable. We finally landed and we were all relieved it was a bumpy one and this funny clown noise came from the cockpit as if to say yay we landed safely...honestly everyone was laughing and clapping! You never get this with easy jet nor tui nor anyone else iv flown with. I will be moving forward with ryan air from now on.
Thank you for a lovely flight 12.45pm take off from ibiza to manchester. Everyone on that flight thank you!!

Absolute disgrace

Absolute disgrace, staff rude and degrading. I booked seats and luggage paid for both. At the check in desk was told t could take my small case as a carry on, no need to put in hold. On my way home did the same but at the gate was charged again 43 euro to take on the plane and had to leave it at the bottom of the steps to be put in hold.No bags had been loaded at the time but still charged. I was spoken to as if I was a child and then laughted at by gate staff. Unacceptable!!

Ryanair might just RUIN your holiday

Avoid this airline at ALL COSTS as they will delay, cancel and not let you travel if ANY AIRPORT has ANY DELAYS.

You will not get any money back. The very worst airline I have ever had the misfortune to travel with.

Rude staff just to make them even worse.

Cost me over £500 to book new flights and a 24 hr delay when passport control had delays. Ryanair took no responsibility AT ALL and charged everybody for missed flights (30 SECONDS LATE to board; bags taken off plane!).

Book with Jet2 or EasyJet or face a world of pain!

Standby

Arrived more than two and a half hours early as our US passport wouldn’t scan on the app. They told us we’d have to pay a 55e fee to check in. We said “no we’re early and just want to know how to get passed the pin part” they said ok and then didn’t charge us. They then spent 20 mins printing a boarding pass. Once they printed it they told us that it’s a standby ticket and that one of us didn’t have a seat. No mention of compensation just told to go through security and hope that not everyone shows up for the flight. Had to wait until 5 mins before doors closing to find out we could even get on the flight.

Unfair Charges and Boarding Mismanagement

Unfair charges and extremely poor handling on flight FR2672 (London Stansted to Rome, 10 April 2026).

My family of five was forced to pay £275 at the airport due to a “verification issue” that was never clearly communicated in advance. However, immediately after paying, we saw other passengers being assisted by staff with the same issue free of charge.

At the boarding gate, we were told the flight was full and that one member of our family would have to stay behind. We were pressured to split up or pay additional costs ourselves. This situation caused significant distress and suggests serious mismanagement.

Ryanair has refused to refund the £275 and has failed to address the inconsistency in their response.

This matter has now been escalated to the Civil Aviation Authority and a chargeback has been initiated.

This experience was unacceptable and far below expected standards

I was left to clear up another…

I was left to clear up another passengers spill in the overhead luggage compartment. My laptop bag got soaked as someone sitting next to me had put 1 litre bottle of some kind of liquid overhead which leaked its entire content onto my bags. The crew wouldn’t clear up the mess during the flight but gave me a stack of tissues to clear up someone else’s mess in the overhead compartment. They were also very rude as well as unhelpful but I suppose they get commission on duty free sales which were prioritised. I’m hoping my laptop isn’t ruined.

Absolutely shocking (as always)

Absolutely shocking (as always).
Just flew back from Lanzarote.
Huge delays at the airport, separated all families (one adult to check in board alone, the other to check in with the kids, regardless of how many!?). Flew out with Jet2 (hand luggage fitted in the measuring thing) Ryanair wanted to charge €70 to take the same small case (or leave it behind!?). Plane was dirty, (sticky dirty carpet, dried milk spilt down the seat in front, armrest was clearly broken/very wobbly, cramped seating, flight attendants clearly didn’t want to be there & the whole experience makes my avoid certain destinations if Ryanair is the carrier.

Refund

I had a duplicate booking and was told by one of Ryanair’s team members that this could be cancelled and refunded and to contact loveholidays to cancel the holiday and wait to receive the refund in 15-20 days. I hadn’t heard anything so spoke to someone new with Ryanair and was told this was there mistake and they will not refund me. Very upset and disappointed.

Check in rubbish

Firstly I would say air crew were great. Check in not so good. We flew as part of a group of 17 from Stansted to lamezia Italy. Plane was probably a third full.
Some of our group were not married couples, friends, siblings, solo travellers etc. I am 70 my wife 77, with dementia, we were the only ones according to boarding passes that were not sat together. Not even on the same row (26 and 27). Get a grip with your ground staff / check in staff. It's not rocket science is it?
