Excellent customer service and very professional and good value for money

I have always had Annual Multitrip Workdwide Cover including Winter Sports for many years but I suddenly realised that once I turned 80 in March 2026, it getting a similar policy at an affordable price was proving very difficult. I dealt with 3 well known insurers and I was fortunate that the advisor I got was just the right person who was efficient, but more importantly very patient: listened and worked to meet my needs and I came away with satisfactory cover at a reasonable price.
The advisor was very pleasant and not the least bit condescending!

Problems with the web page, inflating the price I had selected

The policy pricing is competitive but best of all is the after sales I have never had a problem contacting Saga and speaking to a human being. With other companies you get a computerised voice giving you every option you don’t need which is so frustrating

Saga building and contents insurance offered what I was looking for and at a good price I would definitely recommend them

Website easy to use and car application was simple to complete.The price was excellent

I thought I had taken out a car insurance policy and paid the deposit. Subsequently, it became clear that the the start date was wrong - which may well have been my fault - but when I contacted SAGA to say that I had been driving illegally for a fortnight, believing myself to be insured, and need to rectify the situation immediately, it turned out not only that I wasn't insured, but that I wasn't about to be insured as SAGA insure very few EV's Deeply unimpressed.

I rang Saga travel insurance today for an annual travel insurance quote. The lady I spoke to was extremely transactional unhelpful and abrupt with zero personality. I then rang back a few hours later and got a different lady who from the start had an attitude. When I asked for a single trip quote to compare against the annual trip quote she was extremely unhelpful and said 'why can't you do tje quote online' she was not happy when I insisted ond doing it over the phone. If 2 different representatives of Saga were unhelpful and unprofessional like this i am going to take my business elsewhere.

Saga are brilliant, I’ve been with them for three years now and it’s so easy to do a renewal. They’re not like other insurance companies that are only after your money. Excellent value for money.

Saga's medical insurance cover is very good, well-priced and fair. I had to make a claim last year, and was impressed (and relieved!!) at how quickly and efficiently it was processed - it only took a few days.

Easy to get in touch

Quite simply, I can honestly say that I have had a very pleasant experience with my dealings with Saga and, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to my friends.

I wanted to phone Saga to talk through some details of my home insurance before renewing. The person I spoke to was very knowledgeable, kind and didn't make me feel rushed in making any decisions before I had time to think them through. I've had home insurance with Saga for a number of years and can see myself continuing to do so.

It was easy and no problem

the cost of living in our Country is out of hand, I felt Saga Insurance wasn,t ripping me off. I strongly recommend Saga.

The online travel insurance form for Saga was very clear and easy to understand but I had one query.
We called the helpline- answered very quickly by James Huck. James listened to my query and concerns, explained how to answer correctly and then went through the form with me.
He also gave lots of additional advice about things I may have missed in the insurance document details. For example- logging flight details so that you could use the lounge if delayed over a certain amount of hours.
The advice was 5 star, cover too and the price was extremely competitive.
