Don’t order if they use HERMES / EVRI

I ordered a set of steps for my elderly parents caravan.

They didn’t arrive and I gave an apology from delivery agent EVRI saying the parcel missed the courier collection.

I requested a refund but the seller Securefix said it had been delivered despite my proof.

I have read good reviews about their products but HERMES/EVRI who deliver for them are dreadful and untruthful.

I don’t recommend purchasing from Securefix until they have a new delivery agent.

Dreadful experience and left £41 out of pocket :-(

Poor quality product

Fitted door lock to motorhome.poor quality. Only locks over door. Does not lock in open position as it should. Lock has been bolted and screwed to motorhome. I have looked into this and I can see that you raised an issue with the original item of which we apologised for and sent a replacement on the 2nd September.

The replacement was signed for by yourself on the 3rd September.

I can see that Richard then followed up with an email asking you if the replacement was satisfactory but we have never received a response from you.

In terms of the poor quality, the lock not operating as it should and holes on your 90k motorhome and poor aftersales this is the first that we have become aware, if you can advise further on those points I will endeavor to rectify them for you.

Small order issue resolved straight away, no fuss.

Had a small issue regarding incorrect bolts - an easy mistake as the supplied items were very similar to the ordered items. Securefix rectified this immediately with no fuss. They are great to deal with and provide good old fashioned one to one personal service - no call centre nonesense with these guys. Would happily use them again. Derek J

Perfection and high standards

I’ll begin and end with the same message:
I highly recommend this shop!

The stainless steel fasteners I ordered far exceeded my expectations in terms of quality. The workmanship and finish are exceptional — truly top-notch. I was able to install the hinges immediately without any additional work.

For comparison, I once bought a stainless steel gate handle from another seller on eBay, expecting a smooth finish. Unfortunately, it arrived looking more like rough cast iron, and I spent an entire day grinding it down just to make it usable. That experience made me appreciate the flawless quality of these fasteners even more.

At this price point, I never would have imagined such excellent quality. While my initial shipment didn’t contain the correct items, the outstanding customer service more than made up for the brief delay. The team was friendly, responsive, and genuinely helpful.

Sometimes, it’s worth taking a deep breath, being patient, and staying kind — good things (and good karma) follow. Once again,

Exceptional Service and great pricing - Brilliant

I purchased a 60l ATV sprayer based on the product being what I wanted and SecureFix Direct being the most competitively priced. It worked perfectly but due to my incompetence I managed to tip it over on its first day! This broke two critical parts. I was resigned to having to replace virtually the whole thing but the wonderful guys at SecureFixDirect were able to send me spares within 3days. Brilliant service and very grateful that I am back up and working so quickly.

So here goes,I ordered a 10 litre,Porta potty off these guys and received a 20 litre version of the same toilet after 4 days in the post,sent them an email,requesting the 10 litre version, in all fairness they replied within a couple of hours,a short reply saying they will send one out ? I then replied back questioning what they gonna do about the 20 litre and their web site said no stock off the 10 ltr they got back to me saying I could keep the 20 litre and I’ll receive a full refund,24 hours later and I had a full refund plus the toilet. Anyway not the toilet I wanted but they certainly resolved the issue quickly,FairPlay to them for that. Thank you Richard &team. You can’t be fairer than that.

I don't have all the product and you are really hard to get hold of

I ordered a winch from you. It arrived with no handle. So you said you would send me it. You have just sent me an empty box! And you have no phone number to call and are not replying to my emails. This leaves me with a product I can't use and a lot of time wasted too.
Having seen your reply I must add, at no point did you ever offer me the option to return the unit or offer a refund so it is just lies. The whole thing is completely ridiculous and none of your responses tie up or are good enough. I did finally get the handle in the third attempt. When I saw how it was packaged there is absolutely no way it fell out of the box it just was never there. Terrible service.

Well I have the handle and it was at the third attempt! So I would call that the third handle. First was when you sent the winch with no handle. Second was when you sent the empty box and third was when I finally got the handle. Shall I put all the emails on here as well to show what actually happened? I never had any tracking information sent to me either so had no idea when deliveries were coming, which you told me should be automatic, but for some reason I didn't get one three times in a row. Yes we got there in the end but it is really still causing me stress that you just don't even know what has actually happened.
You were also really patronising in one email when I said the handle was not in the box suggesting that I go and look for it again. Bear in mind you have also just mentioned the handle weighs 3kg.

Accept my apologies for the delay in a response to your feedback however, we never received an email from trustpilot, it then has taken me a day to get down to the bottom of this.

I apologise that you received your original order without a handle. I can see that our picking list had been signed off as having a handle included (they are attached to the unit regardless), so I am unsure as to why you haven't received it, but I can see that Richard promptly addressed the issue, apologised and as per your request arranged for a handle to be sent.

I can then only but apologise that you received 'an empty box' as a replacement. Our boxes weigh 500grams, the handle weighs around 3kgs, our courier company charged us for a 4kg parcel, so I am unsure as to what happened with the handle, we are all rather stumped as the photographic proof of delivery does show the box completely sealed.

I see that you was not satisfied with Richards response, of which was to arrange a collection of the winch and just simply refund you - we felt that it now wasn't making sense to continue sending handles to you that you were not receiving (two handles essentially had gone missing on two separate occasions).

I can see that you asked for the complaint to be raised to a higher management of which, it was, Jason promptly responded after reviewing all communications. I can see that Jason asked you for a convenient day to collect the unit however, you demanded for a partial refund, as Jason correctly said, it would make no sense you keeping a unit that would not operate without a handle, so in your best interest it would make sense for us to collect the unit, free of charge and refund you in full.

I can see that we never received a response to that email. The only communication of any sort was your feedback.

Should you wish to discuss the matter any further or move forward with a resolution then please let us know otherwise, many thanks for taking time to leave us feedback.

Fantastic service…

I have used this company several times now due to the price, quality and overall service.
I ordered an electric ice scraper and couldn't believe the speedy response from the company let alone how quickly the item was delivered. I searched this product online prior to ordering and found their price was great and my hands were warm when de icing the car yesterday.

Not my first purchase of lashing straps from this vendor. I keep retuning to buy many different items, mostly boat or load securing.
Great straps. Much more robust than many others types from other vendors. Good quality ratchets in particular, strong and seemingly chafe resistant webbing. Very well made overall and with certification if needed for commercial use.
Any requests for help and advice are met promptly and clear, even to the extent of advising alternative actions that will save the buyer money.

Great customer service and a pleasure to deal with Jason on behalf of the company

I bought a product from Securefix via an online purchasing site. The tracking on the site had stopped updating so I contacted Securefix for an update and without question the agent I dealt with Jason, arranged for a replacement to be sent straight away as he felt the original must have gotten lost.
A couple of days later, the replacement arrived which was great. I could tell it was the replacement as the invoice total showed £0 indicating they'd been despatched for free.
About a week or so later, another parcel arrived and to my surprise it was the original order (invoice paperwork confirmed my order number, date ordered and price paid).
I contacted Jason to let him know the original order had now arrived and asked how best to get it back to them as I now had 2 lots.
The response was to thank me for being honest and simply ask me to keep the additional product with their compliments.
A great service and a pleasure dealing with Jason, a credit to Securefix.

I can also see that our customer service team emailed you a set of instructions and also sent you a set of hard copy with the replacement parts.

In terms of the old taped box, our company policy is to use recycled and upcycled packaging, this is just one way that we can drive towards our responsibility of net zero.
