Quick update on my last review with…
Quick update on my last review with this sketchy company. After 6 months of complaining and asking for a refund, they have their foreign sales staff give me a call to try and sell me the product that I have been asking for a refund since a few days after I signed up. I explained to her that I had been asking for a refund for months and asked for her manager and she transferred me to a US based sales agent that thought I was going to buy their horrible misleading service. I explained everything to that guy and he hung up on me! Do not use this company!
DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!
DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!
I made a huge mistake and want to save you. January 14, 2022 I reluctantly gave out my banking information for vetted leads. After making it home and reading real reviews, I contacted the company and said I did not want to do business with them . The same day. No charges had been made. I ended up being charged 1,650. I have not had one vetted lead. I think the good reviews that you can find are from people that work there. Please don't do it-you will regret it. I promise I am a real person that works hard for everything that I have ever gotten. You don't want to waste money. I wish I would have never came across this company.
SCAM
AGENTS STAY AWAY!!!! This company is a scam operation. They will steal your money and give you nothing in return. Every one of their employees is a liar and either a willing participant or complicit in this theft. You will get 0 leads or 0 actionable leads. When you complain they will simply ignore you or say that a manager will contact you but they never do. Good luck getting your money back. They say they don't do refunds.
Agents…Do Not Waste Your Money
Agents…Do Not Waste Your Money! Worste lead company experience in my 16 years as a Realtor! The leads are not only sold to several other agents who sign up with set schedule but they obtain leads from other sources that sell them too!
The quality is poor and once you ask for a refund they will simply go into their unresponsive and poor customer service format where they just try and sweep you under the rug. This company deserves to be out of business for how they treat agents!
If I could give zero stars
If I could give zero stars, I would. SetSchedule is an absolute scam. They charged $1650 for what they promised would be 100 verified leads over the course of 12 months. They stated they would be verifying these leads by phone and then hand them off to me. That never happened. The "leads" they provided simply showed up on their app and the contacts had no idea why they were being contacted and certainly had not been verified by phone. Some became irate that they were being contacted at all. In addition, this company automatically renews these subscriptions annually. It claims it won't do so if notified in writing at least 30 days ahead of the end of the current subscription, but that doesn't seem to be the case. I have notified them multiple times by writing that I wish to cancel and I have gotten no response. I have also asked for a refund, but also got no response other than a company representative saying they don't guarantee a lead will close. I understand that, but these are not leads. They are contacts they have randomly scraped from somewhere else. I complained to the BBB and SetSchedule banned me from their platform--yes, and kept my money. They claim they are allowed to ban you from the platform if you say anything negative about them. Beware this company at all costs. I am not surprised that they are posting fake reviews. That's the kind of company they are. Their owner/CEO Ray Dekel has previously gotten into legal trouble with the Securities and Exchange Commission, so I am not surprised at the way he runs this company.
Beware of this company
Beware of this company. In reviewing the "positive" reviews on this site, I'm suspicious of their validity. Take note that most are dated the same date: Jan 2, 2022 and are one liners! Company "friends" being paid to write favorable reviews? A common practice of poorly rated companies. My review is authentic:
On 10/26/21, I responded to an email solicitation from this company. I almost immediately received a response asking me to schedule a time for a call from their rep, Jared. When he called (right on time) the next day, I told him I was suspicious of the validity of any statements made by solicitors from emails. He convinced me that his company could provide me with "guaranteed" leads for buyers and sellers. I said that sounded great, but I've been down that road before. I told him I was interested in finding leads for the Palos Verdes area ONLY b/c that's where I worked. Also, I was only interested in leads for properties priced $1,000,000+, which was at that time the lowest priced home in PV, and also because it indicated a BUYER would not be a 1st Time Buyer. I don't work with 1st time buyers. And if it were a seller, it would be worthwhile for me. He swore on his mother's grave, that I could set my schedule (get it?) on the site to have my parameters filter what leads I would receive. On and on. So, in a moment of weakness, I accepted his offer of $1,650 (much reduced from the original price of $2,795) for which he told me he had "dropped his pants" to get for me, a one year membership. I set my "circular" area of interest on the site and almost immediately began to get "leads" for leases and properties priced between $200,000 and $600,000, although there were a few in price ranges above $800,000, But most notably (!), most of these higher priced homes were in the L.A. area.........too far for me to have interest, but yes, within the radius of my target point. I believe I "took" about 8 of these and called the client's number immediately. Only one had someone answer my call, and he told me he was working with his "cousin who was taking care of everything." So I'm asking myself, "How is this guy a verified lead???" Answer, he is NOT.
Since that time I've received a weekly email from June C. (obviously an email blast) asking me to schedule a strategy session for the leads in my "box," (or whatever). I declined each time, but once I asked her to give me an example of ONE single closing within my circle of preference (PV) that was from a lead provided by SetSchedule. None were provided, and my question was obviously ignored.
So watch out for where you spend your money. This company doesn't stand by what it promises and their salespeople, like Jared, will say anything to get your money. Not honorable, whatsoever.
But like P.T. Barnum once said, "There's a sucker born every minute." I admit it........I was a sucker to buy into this.
BEWARE... Unethical Renewal Handling
BEWARE... This company uses unethical business practices of annual auto-renewal and then refuse to refund despite cancellation attempt. A company that provides a good / valuable and ethical service does not have to handle renewal in this deceptive manner to trap clients.
BEWARE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
This company utilizes unethical business practices. In December, over a month ago, we followed the process provided by the account rep via phone to cancel. We sent multiple emails and in January were charged for another full year. We have made multiple attempts to contact and today when we finally received a call back, the agent laughed at us over our request for a refund. BEWARE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
Set Schedule is all talk and no follow through
This company is all talk and no follow through. I specifically asked if the leads I get are mine alone and not given to others and was told yes only to find out every lead can have 3 agents follow up with them. No wonder they never return my call. Furthermore the app is a joke. When you get a lead via text the link in the text should open up that lead in the app but it never does. You have to search through the whole map to attempt to even find it. I've brought this up at least 7 times and get the same story "we will let our tech programmers know about it" but nothing ever changes. Most of the leads are for price points well under my market so pretty worthless to follow up with. I will say the customer service people are nice but they of course can't actually fix anything. Very disappointed so far. Don't waste your money.
They promise you x amount of…
They promise you x amount of pre-approved buyer and seller leads. They said they would connect you with live calls from buyers and or sellers. (Kind of like Opcity with Realtor.com who are really doing a great job.) SetSchedule lied to me 100% of what they said is not true and after I started to complain they stopped all service to me and will not give me my money back ($1995,00.) I reported this to BBB and I'm calling the Ohio Attorney General this morning.
On October 29th 2021 I had a…
On October 29th 2021 I had a presentation done by Set Schedule representative *. In this presentation we were told that the company supplies agents with leads for real estate buyers and agents. We were told they had different packages and that if we wanted a basic package we would be sent leads that were unverified and if we resulted in a transaction that closed we would then pay a 20% commission fee to them. Then we were told that if we wanted to get verified leads where they would first be calling the leads to insure they were serious buyers or sellers and if we wanted to be set up with direct calls with the buyers and sellers and video calls they had a gold package where we would be paying them an annual fee plus the commission.
Decided to go with the Gold package to get verified leads. Upon the first week of having the system we found that none of the leads were indeed verified and not a single call or video chat was presented to us. She attempted 42 leads and out of all of the 42 not a single one was verified. Phone numbers were invalid, people asked that we stop calling them and said they were not interested in buying or selling.
It is very apparent that what she paid for is not what she is getting and that indeed the Gold package is nothing more than the free service that is offered.
STAY AWAY FROM SETSCHEDULE
STAY AWAY FROM SETSCHEDULE! If there was a no star option, SetSchedule would DEFINITELY get a no star! Without going into great detail, just do yourself a favor and stay away! It's a complete waste of money! I wish I had checked the reviews before signing up with them. $2,025 wasted!
Don’t give them your card number. They will steal all your money
This company is absolutely awful. If you give them your credit card number for the free program they will use it to illegally charge you for the whole year! Please stay away from them. The leads are complete garbage. Everything they promised and all the statistics the sales reps mention are a complete lie. These people are pure evil. There are no live connections. None of the agents who work with them have ever closed a successful deal. The whole company is fraud/ based on stealing peoples credit card information. Every single five star review is 100% fake. This company doesn’t have mixed reviews… All of the real reviews are one star. Period. If you do a little research that will be obvious. Please protect yourself from these dangerous criminals. The owner was also sued for embezzling money from his investors. Everyone who works for this company should be ashamed of themselves. They have hundreds of cases against them with the Better Business Bureau. I can’t believe this is what the world is coming to. Learn from my mistakes and stay away. I repeat: Don’t give them your card information no matter what!
I should have looked into this…
I should have looked into this companies history of poor lead quality and their reviews. The first thing I was told is that SetSchedule was not like OPcity and did not hand out unqualified leads. Shortly after singing up I discovered that was not true. Most of the leads had no clue why I was calling if they even answered, many had the lead say that they were qualified for loan amount only to find out they were low budget renters. After a few months I stopped using SetSchedules services and figured I would chalk it up as a loss. Then after a year my card had a withdrawal for another year of service. I called and tried to explain the situation and how obviously I did not want to use them, otherwise I would have continued. The rep told me that in the small print it stated that I agreed to notify them for cancellation with a specific email. So here I am stuck with another year of bad service.
Check reviews and the BBB!

From the BBB:
BBB files indicate that this business has a pattern of complaints concerning the quality of leads being sent to their consumers. On October 14, 2021, BBB submitted a written request to the company encouraging them to address the pattern of complaints.
FAKE REVIEWS FAKE PRODUCTS
FAKE REVIEWS FAKE PRODUCTS, This company pulls a bait and switch claiming to send you referrals for a sizable referral fee. Sounds legit. After doing a lot of investigating and sitting through a long presentation I find out they do not send you referrals. You pay $2,400 to receive leads throughout the year and then you pay them $200 per transaction to use their marketing tools. Don't walk from this company, RUN. If your still considering them, just look at the BBB complaints.
USELESS DEAD LEADS and Terrible Customer Service
I have purchased many leads from this company and EVERY LEAD is USELESS. The phone numbers are junk and the emails bounce back as undelivered. When they replace the dead lead, they give you ANOTHER DEAD Lead and keep your money, because you can only have one replacement lead. Once, you get a 2nd USELESS LEAD, you can't request a refund. So, they continue to take your money, give you dead leads, then replace them with more DEAD LEADS and keep your money and will not issue a refund. TOTAL SCAM and USELESS. Don't waste your time or money on their junk leads.
unsolicited/spam texting
SetSchedule sent me an unsolicited text message that I reported as spam. I received a rude text back from"Laura" stating "good luck with that."
