it's actually quite terrible as the connection ain't stable and sometimes even i'm in the city and it's not crowded, i still have no connection for 5-10mins. Can't really tell when it'd lose the connection and it's rather random. It can be in the morning, afternoon or evening.

Apparently buying a prepaid eSIM from Simyo requires NASA-level identity verification. Meanwhile, every phone shop can give the same prepaid in three seconds without drama. I spent more time fighting Simyo’s automated system than actually using a phone. Impressive — but not in a good way.

Absolutely the worst provider ever! They charged me roaming costs in a country I wasn’t even in. Before my trip, I called to confirm that Greece was included — they said yes. And now I suddenly get an invoice with roaming charges for Albania?!
I showed them clear proof that I was in Greece the entire time, but they didn’t care at all. Their customer service was rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful.
On top of that, the connection was absolutely terrible. I had signal maybe 10% of the time — most of the time I couldn’t use the internet or even make a simple phone call.
I never write reviews, but this experience was so unbelievably bad that I felt I had to warn others. Do yourself a favour and stay far away from this company. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

After posting my review, Simyo replied publicly, pretending to be helpful. However, their response was purely for show — meant to look good to other readers. In reality, they haven’t done anything to resolve the issue. Instead, they placed the blame on me, even though I had already contacted Simyo before my trip to confirm that Greece was included.
If there was any risk of connecting to an Albanian network while in Greece, they should have clearly informed me at that time — not made promises they couldn’t keep. It’s disappointing that their public replies are only aimed at maintaining a positive image rather than actually helping their customers.

Wauw, what a service. Twice got 3 gb for free, friendly fast customer service via instagram and good prices. Pity no larger bundles than 20 gb, but 12,50 euro for this much data is already great priced. Thanks!

I have a regular subscription and I finished my data, than charged 5€ for 500 megabytes more and the next day once my internet was over I continue to consume internet and I been charged for 1,2 gigabytes over 200€ , the only response I got is that they sent me a message with the tariffs. This is unbelievable

i had chosen an abonment with mobile. simyo asked me to pay with Ideal-link 11,89 euros. after that i paid, i got an instant mesage that my order is denied and i didn't get my money back. and via whatsapp i can't ask about payment..

First will mention, great service, i am in fact really satisfied with my duch e-sim.
But sadly , truth be told, there is no option or I couldn't find from where it is , to change the languages of the app.
In that state the platform is just user not user friendly for all non duch speakers as myself.
Understandably the service is providing me with a duch number and so Its assumed duch people would be the main customers , but honestly its not a secret a lot of EU citizens as myself that dont speak the language need a duch number when they are in the Netherlands students , tourists or workers...
Just eng translation as an option in settings will make the service more accessible and friendly

HORRIBLE. PLEASE NEVER CONSIDER USING SIMYO. they're fully a scammer company and will come back and charge u for invoices even after cancelling the subscription, completely removing the sim and wiping it from your phone, and personally emailing them to terminate the number. nothing works. they'll still come back demanding 50 euros for an invoice you "never paid" even though your bank transfers clearly show you making this very transaction back in MARCH when they asked you for another 50 euros. their customer support is horrible. i tell them they're making a mistake, they AGREE that they did (on multiple occasions) yet still persist with having you pay an invoice YOU HAVE ALREADY PAID. genuinely horrible horrible HORRIBLE company and i pray they meet a fate as honourable as they are when they scam you out of a hundred euros.
