I recently attended a Paediatric First Aid Course…

I recently attended an Emergency Paediatric First Aid course with St John Ambulance and had an excellent experience from start to finish.

Our trainer, Gina, delivered the course in a professional, knowledgeable and engaging manner. She created a relaxed learning environment that encouraged participation and made everyone feel comfortable asking questions. The balance between theory and practical activities was excellent, and the hands-on scenarios really helped to build my confidence.

As someone preparing to open an Ofsted-registered childcare setting, it was important that I left the course feeling confident in my ability to respond appropriately in an emergency. Gina explained everything clearly, demonstrated each skill thoroughly and ensured that everyone had the opportunity to practise until they felt comfortable.

I came away with valuable knowledge, renewed confidence and practical skills that I hope I never need to use, but now feel prepared to apply if the situation ever arises.

I would highly recommend St John Ambulance to anyone requiring first aid training. If all of their trainers deliver courses to the same high standard as Gina, learners will receive excellent value for their money.

Today I completed the two-day Mental Health First Aid course with Paul in Sittingbourne, and I couldn't recommend it highly enough.
Paul was an excellent trainer who really brought the course to life. He was approachable, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable, creating an environment where everyone felt comfortable participating and asking questions and drawing from our own experiences.
Mental Health First Aid is something I already felt passionate about, but Paul's delivery and enthusiasm made me even more committed to the subject. Thank you for two fantastic days of training. I look forward to working with you again on future courses.

Hands on

If you're looking to sit through a first aid lecture, this is a wrong place. Near enough from very beginning, the training is hands on. You are made to practise things over and over so upi remember them better and gain confidence. Highly recommend.

Three Great Trainers, One Great Course

The course was very well organised, informative and engaging. We had three different trainers over the three days, which I actually really enjoyed as each brought their own style, experience and perspective. It kept the course fresh and interesting, and all three trainers were knowledgeable, approachable and encouraged plenty of discussion and participation.

The mix of practical exercises and theory worked really well, and I left feeling much more confident in using the skills I'd learned. Overall, it was an enjoyable course that made the three days go by quickly.

Brilliant delivery of the three day course!

Brilliant delivery of the three day First Aid at work course by Graham. It was equally practical and theory based.
Thank you to Graham for your very informative course. Your personality along with fantastic experience and knowledge has cemented my own knowledge.

Top-Notch Teacher

The trainer - I've forgotten his name - was excellent, teaching with warmth, humour and lots of interaction, which made things much more interesting than the usual talk-for-an-hour method, with better information retention as a result. Give this man a raise! (He was a tall black man with dreadlocks and was originally from New York.)

Our instructor was Mark in Ashford

Our instructor was Mark in Ashford. Very well presented course. Never felt like information was being given at a fast rate. It was easy to listen and take in. The practicals were very helpful and helpful gave us time to repeat if we needed a little more help with them. Overall I couldn't recommend enough. I'm so glad I've done the course and will always recommend to friends family in the future
