Snow Express is a very friendly
Snow Express is a very friendly, reliable, efficient and helpful way of travelling to the alps in comfort and security. I have travelled with them many times over the last few years and highly recommend them.

The journey was smooth and we got there…
The journey was smooth and we got there on schedule. The customer service was good when we called or emailed as one of our passengers had a problem. The only reason it isn't five stars is that they should really designate seats on the bus to passengers, it's a mad dash to get on board and your group ends up split.

You cant go wrong!
I would highly recommend the snow express. We have travelled to the French Alps by flying for years, but the cost of new year or half term, plus hours worth of delays made us search for alternatives.
We have an autistic son which can make travelling stressful at times but the team went out of their way to ensure he was happy. The whole team are super organised, the coach really comfortable and we are definite converts. Yes it is a long time to travel, but the majority is overnight rather than a ridiculously early start, all 4 of managed a good 7 hours sleep overnight both ways. With the added bonus of an extra days skiing, plus transfers included, you cant go wrong

I would highly recommend taking the bus…
I would highly recommend taking the bus to the slopes, but do bear in mind you need a lot more time i.e. Fri half day probably if you don't live in in London and you get back lunchtime Sunday. I decided to get the bus this time as flights over Easter were exorbitant. What would make the journey better is having more consistency between drivers so that they all give you clear indications of what to expect in terms of stops etc. Some didn't say anything and just put lights on so it was all a bit of a surprise. The services they stop at are excellent (head to the hotel). My bus was full, but I didn't like the way they said that single travellers had to budge up so that people travelling together could be seated together. If you want that kind of system, allow seats to be pre-booked. I don't like the scrum for seats on arrival. That would make things significantly better.

Great to avoid driving
Really good option for travelling to ski resorts without having to drive yourselves. We travelled with our 5 year old and 2 year old, so it let us keep them entertained or cuddled whilst sleeping, which I think made for a more peaceful journey than we'd have managed driving ourselves. We got some sleep too, not loads but more than we'd have got as passenger in a car. Would recommend, and would use it again.
Good points:
1. Good value.
2. Staff friendly and helpful
3. Depart Friday arrive Saturday, much quicker than we could manage driving.
4. Reclining seats and power at seats.
5. Got straight from London to our resort Tignes val claret so then just walked 5 min to hotel.
Bad points:
1. toilet on way out ran out of water so couldn't flush and eventually was out of use. I think this was unusual, but felt one set of drivers should have found a way to overcome this (I'm not sure why you couldn't fill the water tanks manually with bottled water for example?)
2. Timing of ferry crossing on way out is 10pm, and you have to get off the coach so we had to wake our kids up. This is probably unavoidable without leaving London mid afternoon, and not such an issue if you don't have young kids. As it happened ours were so fast asleep we carried them and then they continued sleeping on benches in the restaurant!
3. Lights on coach - whenever there was a stop some lights seemed to have to be turned on. They often shone straight in the eyes of kids asleep. The drivers were trying to minimise it, but am not sure the coach had the tech.
All in all it was really good.
Thanks!

It's better than I expected
It's better than I expected. Unfortunately the toilet was broken half way but that is just unfortunate. The coach overall is comfortable and punctual. I managed to get decent sleep.

Driver and staff friendly, journey smooth. Only issue is the toilets on both of my journeys had issues so slightly inconvenient.

Fantastic fantastic service - ruined by Romford....
Fantastic fantastic service.
Would be better with wifi though.
Major drawback: Really aggressive fellow passengers in a group who had been drinking. One behind my teenaged daughter (he had 2 seats) wouldn't let her recline her seat and swore at her when she tried.'You f***** d*** head' is no way to speak to a fellow passenger , particularly a child. His behaviour was beyond unacceptable but it was impossible to do anything about it as he was very agressive and his family turned a blind eye and then, when challenged, thought it was quite acceptable really as 'he has very long legs and needs his sleep - but he shouldn't have sworn at her'. I know that this is not the responsibility of the company but it was pretty frightening for my daughter and the constant swearing and shouting for several hours from him and his extended family argued was awful. So...if 'Connor from Romford' books again, please put security guards on the bus.....
Seriously though, the service was fabulous, ruined only by a group of selfish, somewhat drunk and unpleasant people.

Understandably the time I went to
Understandably the time I went to France was busy so the company done two coaches. Me and my brother assumed the coach we’ve been moved to would be the same as the other coach (which we payed for) and it wasn’t the coach we were put on was a normal coach so leg room was terrible, no WiFi it just wasn’t what we payed for.
The drivers were lovely though but it didn’t make the experience any better when I travelled for a whole day in total and just wanted comfort

Whatever you do take a pillow and thin blanket with you. the seat is comfy but you will struggle to get your head settled.
and once you see the mountains get used to the idea that your still 5 hours away.
but to be fair its a great service and I'll defiantly use it again.

Best
Best , trouble free , most relaxing way to get to the Alps . Our holiday began in Folkstone where we conveniently joined the coach in reserved seats . Joy Meier
