So I bought a pair of safety glasses for Airsoft with prescription inserts. Went to multiple opticians in central London who said they couldn’t do it or quoted me something ridiculous (anywhere from £90 - £150, which was more than the frames itself) to send the frames to a “specialist lab”. Super happy I found specs by post, sent them an email and Linsey was quick to respond, filled out a form with my prescription details and they did it all for £25 inc delivery. Price dependant on choices of lens thickness, tints, material etc. but honestly look no further, get your free eye tests/ designer frames and buy the lenses from here! Amazing service, will definitely come back for my future prescriptions lenses.

Used these a few times now. Never had any issues. Friendly staff always. Just fab.

I live in the USA & a friend in the UK suggested I compare prices. They supplied one new pair & I send one pair of new frames I had bought & put lenses in another, I had varifocals & the ones that change colour in the sun. Just having lenses added to my old frames was $560 cheaper than in the US!! Great service, they let me know they were posted & even sent a reminder when I forgot to collect from the local post office. Very impressed and I won’t use anyone else again!

what a company, phoned Linsey on tuesday with a query about a
pair of frames she not only sorted it but took my order over the phone
by 11am wednesday i had them in my hand. sbp could teach the big

I am very impressed with the efficiency and speed of this company. I ordered 3 pairs of lenses from SBP a day after I had placed an order with Vision Express (1 pair adaptive lenses £129 not including frames).. kind of wish I hadn't bothered as I have received my order via post from SBP already at a fraction of the cost of 1 pair of lenses from VE which will be ready to collect in another 3 days lol!

Other reviewers have covered it all.

Rapid turnaround and a fraction of the cost of high street chains.

Less than ten days door to door to reglaze two pairs of bifocals (would've been less if I'd sent my frames first class!)

I made a mistake on my first order and they replaced the lenses without charge!

I called up to find out how long it would take for my glasses to be re-glazed and was told three to four days. From sending them off to receiving them back it was three days.

Absolutely top class service, I have used specs-by-post 3 times now and I couldn't be happier with the service this time I had my own sunglasses reglazed I purchased them from the high street and sent them off for prescription lens adding, posted them late after noon on Wednesday and had a call Thursday to take payment as they were complete and going to repost posted back to me!, this in the middle of the school summer holidays probably a busy time. My flight ti Turkey is next week so I couldn't have been more pleased with the fast turnaround. the glasses always come back in fantastic condition, I did once have a minor issue and contacted the customer services team and it was sorted without fuss which shows true customer service value!

My prescription Raybans recently got nicked so I had a look around the web for cheap prescription sunglasses to tide me over until I get a replacement. I found Specs-by-post via google and was quite skeptical at first as their prices were extremely cheap. How can they be so cheap?? Anyway, I went ahead and ordered a pair of prescription sunnies for £32 as I thought if they weren't great it's not a big loss anyway. Well! I ordered on a Thursday and they arrived on Saturday! And they're extremely good for what I paid and looks stylish as well! I'll definitely order more specs from them from now on; I never knew prescription sunnies could be so cheap and so good. Would be great if they could increase their selection though, but still 10/10, definitely recommend.

Also had several pairs of my existing frames reglazed with prescription lenses, including sunglasses - great service & easy ordering. Posted franes to them on Wednesday & received reglazed glasses back on Friday, fantastic!

I bought the £12 mens so I could send off my rimless pair. They reglazed them with grey transitions for half the price quoted by my optician. Both pairs arrived promptly within two days of the orders having being placed.
I am very happy indeed with the swift service and would have no hesitation in using them again.

Just received my latest order from Specs-by-Post. My glasses (one pair for reading the other for distance) are fantastic as always. Their service is second to none. Orders always arrive within 2-3 days and never had a problem with them. Frames are great value. I had my eye test at Boots and the optician said what lovely frames my glasses had!

Just got diagnosed with specs - tried their cheapest ones to experiment how it feels - super stuff received - fits well sits well - does the job I need them for. all for 16 quid - good job.
