I have just received two pairs of spectacles back from Specs by Post. I bought two pairs of frames on holiday and was a little unsure about using a service by post but I am delighted with the speedy, helpful and efficient service and the very well glazed results. I will be using them again!

I've been in specs since I was 6 years old and it was always one expensive pair for years, reglazing as I became more blind, and no new frames until I broke them. Finding these affordable, fashionable frames has been such a treat, and being able to wear different glasses according to mood or need.
Now at age 57, I have glasses in every room, as the frames I like the most are only £20 with lenses. My husband has his reading glasses made with them too, and finds the quality of the lenses and frames beat those over the counter reading glasses you can get.
I tell everyone about Specs-by-post and can't understand why anyone would want to get ripped off by high-street opticians, when this company is accommodating, helpful and your new glasses come through the door in a day or two.

I have used Specs by post since 2011 and their customer service, quality of the glasses and quick turnaround is impeccable.

I ordered a pair of reading glasses Monday at 1pm and received them the next day.

Highly recommended.

I've used Specs By Post several times now, and the service has been exceptional every time. The team have been friendly and supportive, and have gone out of their way to assist me every time. I highly recommend this quality, personal service.

I needed special varifocal lenses (high index) as I have a high prescription into my own rimless frame but needed them quickly. I send the frame and prescription on a Thursday, the order was verified over the phone on Friday and I needed then by a week the following Monday.
Unbelievably the glasses were back with me by the Thursday. The quality of the finishing of the lenses is perfect , the vision is great and I have my prescription transition varifocals with time to spare before my holidays.

First time using Specs-by-post and they were brilliant. Not only were we on a tight deadline, the prescription we had been given by our optician had been incorrectly written down so when we got the glasses my daughter couldn't see properly out of the right lens. We phoned them up to explain, they were extremely helpful, polite and incredibly accommodating. They are rushing through another pair (at minimal cost to us) within a 48 hour period so my daughter has them for her holiday. Superb customer service would highly recommend them. Really helpful when the error was not even their fault.

I'd been using some glasses with my prescription for a year and bought some new frames to be made up the same. My glasses arrived quickly and unfortunately the prescription in them was not correct. I couldn't see out of them without feeling very dizzy!

I booked in for an eye test with my optician as i was due a test. As my prescription had changed, I rang back to see if they would update the glasses (made wrongly) with my new prescription (the optician cfm'd that the prescription was indeed incorrect in them!)

Not only did they refuse to do this with no fee..they refused to believe me and were abusive and shouty over the phone?! Unbelievable, unfriendly and unprofessional, I'm astounded..avoid like the plague!!

Bought my first pair of glasses from Specs-By-Post in January after I lost my driving glasses whilst on holiday. Ordered a new pair on line late Sunday night after returning home from holiday and received email informing me that they had been dispatched Monday and sure enough Tuesday morning they arrived - Excellent. I have just ordered two pairs of reading glasses for my husband as both the pairs he got from a local opticians have fallen to pieces after only 1 year - mind you he does put them on and off very often. Again ordered on Sunday and also enclosed his prescription (good job I did as I made a mistake on the online form and I received a prompt email saying they had corrected it for me). Again glasses dispatched on Monday and arrived Tuesday - two pairs for £40.30 in P&P - AMAZING. Hubby very happy. Would use again and recommend.

I have used this company twice now both for myself and my son.The finished product arrives amazingly fast.The service is excellent,the product is excellent and communications are second to none.Add to this amazing value and a vast range plus it arrives through your letterbox.Can't say anymore.

a good experience, i was worried about buying glasses online but proved wrong. nice savings :-) and they even re-glaze as well.

I've ordered from this company on several occasions and never had a problem. They've always taken the time to double-check my unusual optical prescription. Would recommend them to everyone.
