Very thorough examination by very nice staff - particularly so as I had recently had my cataract operation.
I've used the Newquay Branch for several years and everything was fine.
The Victoria Branch in London were more interested in upselling than listening to what I wanted.
I wanted 2 pairs of glasses in there 2 for 1 offer with scratch resistant lenses that come as standard.
When I arrived for collection there was 1 pair of glasses with some anti glare coating which I never asked for.
When asked where the 2nd pair of glasses were I was told I never specifically asked for the free pair.
So now I have to go back in a weeks time and pick up the 2nd pair and have to pay £40 for some coating I did not ask for.
Next time I will go to Boots
Misbah was amazing from start to finish. So friendly, helpful, gave great advice on my frame selection and options. Kept me up to date and was an absolute pleasure. She is a huge asset to idle specsavers and I hope she gets some recognition for this.
All the staff are friendly, welcoming and professional. All that you would expect.
Glasses had a mark across the lens that wasn’t removable so need making up all over again. Hence a long wait and all the money was paid up front.
The team really care about what you need and the products you want.
Wrong size frame, larger than the Optician recommended and fell off my face !!!!
Glasses made for me were worse than my current ones. 3 hour round trip every time requiring 2 trips each time so had a refund.
Filled out survey saying the price fir my varifocals was very high compared to last time.
Had a call from yeovil store and didn't agree with outcome.
The service and help I received in choosing the best lens design and frames was very valuable. It was great to have the same person doing the fitting two weeks later, and I appreciated the attention paid to getting the glasses to fit me snugly.
As usual Specsavers Egham branch do not go out of their way to help you, after being forced to pay £250 for two pairs of glasses, they refused to give me a £20 off (work discount entitlement voucher), when I picked the glasses up; they said it had to be at the time of purchase, I did not even realise at the purchase time I could get even get a voucher from work. Disgusting that they do not retrospectively, give you this back. I will be going elsewhere next time I need an eye test or new glasses.
Prompt and professional service from start to finish
Great staff, friendly and knowledgeable. Didn't get kept waiting around and everything well communicated.
I submitted a prior revue some 5 years ago on my first visit to Fosse Park and was very pleased to see the standard of service and competence hadn't dropped at all.
I had my eye test done 12 months ago but the prescription remained the same (not forced into changing my glasses anyway as some firms would do) but recently I needed new prescription sunglasses, new medium distance for P.C work, and a spare pair of my usual prescription. As mentioned previously, my prescription is not straightforward so I always worry about it turning out correct, especially as I was having 3 different items. Plenty of choice for frames so no issues there, and my advisor/assistant Luba was a big help in not only choosing but recommendations for treatments and suchlike. I ended up choosing all 3 pairs that I needed, and with no eye test to be done I wasn't in store for very long, with collection arranged for 10 days (my choice) On return yet more excellent help with fitting, and most importantly, all 3 pairs were perfectly prescribed so the vison was as good as it could be....always a huge relief for me.
All in all this couldn't have worked out better, great service, knowledge and help from the staff, right from the optometrists to the fitters who always seem to understand my needs. My glasses look great and fit well, and although price is never my main concern (I need the prescription to work) I felt I got good value for money. I'm only speaking for myself, but I would definitely recommend this store to anyone looking for new glasses.
Great service and very friendly staff very clean store
