Very risky / No backups
They had a serious issue with their Amsterdam Data Center. For three days, my VPS instance was down. They didn't able to restore anything. Finally the explanation was that the backups were stored in the same location—so they couldn’t restore anything. As you can imagine, this caused major problems with my clients. They recreate for me a new VPS but without any data.
One of the worst services of "VPS" you can find.
One of the worst services of "VPS" you can find (for the VPS they mean, shared resource not a real, virtual private Server).
They Lost all my data and my snapshot cause they used to backup the data inside the same Server where they stored VM's.
Cause: RAID crashed (one or more drives died), then After 24 hours the server Is started again, for One hour, than crashed again and this time, After 36 hours, they said, the raid card Is crashed too, so now they said they Lost all my data inside.
If you have a Littlebit of knowledge in IT, you know, After a raid card crash, all the data can be reconstructed. If was a raid card crashed.
They cannot give you your data, if Is hosted on their Server, and i mean when they Server work, cause you have "Snapshot, on their Page, so you can restore your vm with a single button. But if the Server crash phisically, you Lost everything, cause your Snapshot for ssdnodes, mean, " pray to be lucky", cause we have "backup/Snapshot" in the same disk and same Server where VM are stored. But you can be safe for them, cause they have "disk raid".
Now they offer to me, to move on another server without any of my data, for free and i has ti Say Thank you for your gift?
Avoid relying on those with near-0 technical expertise like this company, rather buy an x86 mini PC or Raspberry, on single disk. Anyway, at least if your Raspberry crashes, you can have and create a copy locally before that happens and you have control of your data, which was not possible with them. (I'm talking about the whole virtual machine so you can migrate it, not just the data, which you can take out with an rsync.)
So this Is my experience with this "hosting company, called ssdnodes".
They do what they say.
They do what they say. Extremely cost-effective with great support. If you know how to look after Linux servers they are an ideal solution for a wide range of use cases. Even if you don't, their templates and walkthroughs make sense, and with the firewall service expected soon they make even more sense. If you need a cloud server check them out.

SSD Nodes is an exceptional VPS provider
I've found that SSD Nodes is an exceptional VPS provider that stands out for its value, reliability, and excellent customer service. Their servers and networks have provided me with perfect uptime and they offer a good variety of locations to choose from. The plans and features are very competitively priced, which prompted me to move from the much more expensive Linode (especially if you're paying in CAD $).
Their support team is responsive and knowledgeable, resolving my minor technical issue fast and effectively. Additionally, their security measures, including regular backups and promotion of 2FA, provide peace of mind. Whether you're launching a new server or migrating an existing one, SSD Nodes makes the choice easy. With their combination of performance, affordability, and excellent customer care, they are a hosting provider I can trust. Highly recommended!

Stay Away! Overpromises and Underdelivers - Zero Support
If you're looking for a reliable VPS hosting provider, look elsewhere! seriously oversells their services and fails to deliver on their promises. I purchased a 960GB plan, but my server constantly showed 100% disk usage even with over 80GB of free space. This indicates they're cramming way too many virtual servers onto their nodes and not monitoring resources properly.
To make matters worse, their support is non-existent. I tried contacting them multiple times about the issue, but they completely ignored me. I was left with a broken server and no help in sight.
Bottom line is unreliable, unresponsive, and simply doesn't care about their customers. Save yourself the headache and go with a different provider. You've been warned!

Can't beat the price
Can't beat the price. Snappy, comprehensive dashboard. Perfect for small/medium things that need a little more performance. Little light on the CPU side, so beefier workloads may be suited elsewhere.

Great Customer service!
I've had SSDnodes for about a year now. Had a hiccup where one part of the server was going in and out losing connection. Explained my issue, they moved me to a new part and never had issues since. I run a business using their servers and daily snapshots are a must! Great customer service!

Great cost to value ratio
I've used maybe 5 different VPS services in the last 3 years. So far, SSD Nodes is the best service for the cost.

We were facing significant downtime
We were facing significant downtime with our past VPS but since we switched to SSD nodes 5 months ago, there has not been a single instance where we encountered any downtime. The cherry on top is there 24/7 customer support which helped us set up and guided us through all our queries.
We highly recommend SSD Nodes.

It was made clear to me that SSD Nodes…
It was made clear to me that SSD Nodes goes above and beyond to ensure I felt an important customer. I first contacted them to ask for specific specs in my server as I was in need of a higher RAM amount and CPU power that the average provided, for my data analysis project.
After opening the ticket I was contacted by someone from management with who accommodated my needs with a very reasonable pricing.
Honestly I was skeptical to use a small company cause I always used the big guys but I got tired of the long ticketing queues and robotic systems. I also read some nasty reviews online which made me doubt my decision but with the refund guaranteed I thought I will give it a shot.
Glad to say I have been with them for 8 months now and very satisfied with the journey. For me they are reliable and truly invested in providing the best experience possible.

My suitable solution in Netherlands
Since I moved to Netherlands, I started to look over multiple providers there, and could not find cheap ones, until I discovered SSD Nodes, which provided low cost services, but I was relunctant at first, since I am generally not fan of low-end services in life :)
I gave them a try, in their Amsterdam location and I really was glad about the perrfoemance for approximately 1 month now, the bandwidth, is speedy, and the cpu power is doing very well, with low latency, on my site.
I think this is for me, and I felt it my duty to give credits to these guys. Thanks again!

SSD Nodes VPS: A Performance Nightmare - Avoid! (1 Star)
My experience with SSD Nodes has been nothing short of disastrous. I purchased a "performance" server with 64GB of RAM, lured by their professional website and seemingly competitive pricing. However, the reality was a far cry from the advertised specifications.
Fake RAM and Overloaded Server:
From the get-go, it was clear something was amiss. The server's performance was abysmal, struggling to handle even basic tasks. Upon investigation, it became apparent that the advertised RAM was either fake or severely misrepresented. The server behaved as if it had a fraction of the promised 64GB.
Furthermore, the server was clearly overloaded. Simple operations were met with frustratingly slow response times and frequent crashes. It was impossible to achieve any semblance of acceptable performance, rendering the server practically unusable for its intended purpose.
Complete Waste of Money:
I paid a premium for a high-performance VPS, but received a severely underpowered and unreliable server instead. This blatant misrepresentation of their services is unacceptable. My experience with SSD Nodes has been a complete waste of money and a significant source of frustration.
Avoid at All Costs:
Based on my experience, I would strongly advise against choosing SSD Nodes for your VPS needs. Their claims of high performance are demonstrably false, and their customer service has been unresponsive to my concerns. There are far more reputable and reliable VPS providers available who will actually deliver on their promises. Save yourself the headache and steer clear of SSD Nodes.
worst vps provider ever
worst vps provider ever, the specs they promote is pure bullcrap. machines are oversold, overcommited, RAM is basically worse than HDD. never use it with production
