I bought a shower enclosure from these guys to replace one that was falling apart. They are pretty much identical apart from this one being frameless but i must say that the difference in quality is night and day.

When you buy this type of item the details are so important but aren't usually considered during the buying process. I'm talking about things like how the doors close and the thickness of the frames that fix to the walls - not important to some people but once you fit one in you realise getting it right makes a huge difference.

This enclosure came with magnetic doors and this makes a huge difference. Most houses will have out of alignment walls so the doors will close with a small gap unless adjusted perfectly. From my experience not many builders have time to ensure it's perfect and you end up with small gaps either at the top or bottom that allow water to get by. This one was great as the gaps are eliminated by simply pulling the doors firmly together.

Once fitted it feels very well made and I'd recommend it to anyone fitting it with a shower tray.

Delivery was also very good - delivered on time and plenty of updates on date and time.

As we wouldn't be installing the cupboard immediately I opened the box to check for any damage. After opening the cupboard it was obvious that the shelves were put in upsidedown. I had to dismantle the cupboard and re-fit them. Apart from that the product looks very stylish.

Fast delivery, and the tap is very nice. Had plumbers fit it so can't comment on how easy it was. Would recommend.

Taps look OK but having issues sealing the tap to the sink unit, should be straight forward however having to apply mastic to seal.

Very fast service

I brought an l shape bath which included the shower screen. The photo showed a towel holder on the screen which was the sole purpose of buying this bath. When the bath arrived it did not have the holder on. The customer service team were very rude and would not accept responsibility saying that when I purchased the product that the screen did not show a holder on.... absolute lies. Taps are part of better bathrooms and when I have also purchased items through better bathrooms the staff in the store in Birmingham had no customer service skills whatsoever and looked totally unhappy to be working there and smarmy. When I spoke to the customer service team on the phone I was passed around to different people clearly after speaking to each other sticking up for each other rather than there being a line of command. I was so disappointed with the way I was being treated that I emailed the md of the company to which I have had no reply. A note to everyone.....be careful and check straight away that what you order and see on the pictures marries up to the order confirmation!

Right from the start, customer service was excellent, Staff ( Emma Trott), was patient and diligent, answering all questions I gave and took care not just blurt out any sales jargon. Goods arrived on time, we had 1 damaged part but was promptly addressed.

I would buy again from taps without hesitation.

Would definitely use this company again.

Taps UK charges £30 to deliver any items less than £1000.
It is very normal and reasonable to have delivery costs. Lakeland, for example, charges £20 to deliver and this is standard practise.
What I don't expect is for Taps UK to:
- Charge you £30 and then no deliver the items to your address
- Expect you to pay another £30 for redelivery
- Not allow you to change the address
- Not give you a time slot - they literally call you at a random time in the day and expect you to be there the whole time!
- Not warn you there are no refunds
I really wouldn't buy from Taps UK. Unless you live in Worcestershire, where their head office is, and can collect, or can sit around the house between 7am-8pm all day without a better idea when they're arriving, waiting for your ceramic white sink and waste.
Unhappy, will recommend you to everyone!
