My Ex Partner was lumbered with TCS when we decided to part ways and he bought me out of our Property so they were dealing with his Re-Motgage and the Transfer of Equity through TCS.
Shocking Communication. They didn't return Calls or Emails for Weeks on end. We were constantly left in the dark and had no idea where we stood.
Their Processes are archaic and painfully slow. The ID Guidelines are a joke and gave so many hoops to jump through both mine and my Ex's ID's and Bills were rejected. Best of all... They didn't tell us they were rejected! They just let us chase until we were told this! Delaying the whole process!!
Not getting updates on the Transfer of Equity and just the overall speed of which TCS took to do anything, severely delayed the Buying Process of my New Property. This forced myself and my Ex to remain living together for much longer than necessary, had TSC been good at what they do, things may have been different and ran much smoother.
Luckily for me, TCS were not handling things on my side and the Purchase of my new Property. My Solicitors are the total Opposite - Speedy, Efficient and always keeping you informed. Just what you’d expect.
Avoid TCS like the Plague. You won't regret it.

If I could give TCS a minus score I would!
TCS showed massive promise when our re-mortgage case was assigned to them from our bank; they were quick to start the process and send everything across. Our case then changed case handlers and from this, I had to call and chase them to do anything with our case with promises the work would be completed "by the end of week" which came and went. Correspondence was mostly emailed or addressed to my other half and despite call after call to ask that either contact was made to me or both of us - they chose to only contact or address correspondence to 'Mr'.
Please, for the love of God, don't waste your time, energy or money on TCS.

Our initial case was handled by someone who left the company- then taken over by someone who was only working a few days a week, and as it wasn't the most straight forward she struggled. Thankfully the case was then handled by Ryan Lightfoot, who was nothing short of superb.

During the purchase of my property I…found TCS to be terribly incompetent
During the purchase of my property I had many problems Peter appeared to lose or not receive everything i sent him many times . On completion of what should have been a very simple remortgage I was promised my case would be reviewed and they would be in touch as with every other promise made by this company i have heard nothing. I have bought many properties but never had to deal with such incompetency as i did with TCS i am guessing nw nobody will be in touch or be able to tell me why my case ended up the way it did . However The solicitorwho dealt with it did always seem to have an answer Terrible Service Extremly Stressful and would never use again
