Very bad experience; After signing up for a free trial period, they got hacked and all accounts were blocked including my trail account. The trail ended during this blockade and they automatically changed my account to a paid subscription. I tried to cancel but this was not possible and I got instructed to email them. After emailing them 10 x and trying to cancel online even more (2 payments later) I had to cancel the payment via PayPal. My advice; if you want to use their service forever without any form of customer support, if not: STAY AWAY YOU CANNOT CANCEL.

I sent an email to cancel my account, and also logged a support ticket. They have claimed to have not received either, and are now threatening legal action for the next year subsciption. If they run their business in this manner then I am sure that they will soon have no customers. It does appear that they ignore thir customers emails and then claim that they never received them. Looking back at the other reviews and mass negativity seems a sensible course of action to avoid at all costs
Update. If you wish to cancel your account with them you have to make sure it is well in advance of renewal, and be prepared to request this several times, with confirmation as they claim to not receive your email and support message too
No customer service in their business model, they say they never receive emails to cancel, they say never receive web messages, they will not let you change to a monthly account despite the pandemic and income loss people are suffering. Totally ignorant of the situation in the world at present, just ride roughshod over every email, ignore everything, it's their way or no way. Apalling level of service

E-mail is ignored. If you do try to reset your password via they're portal you will not receive any confirmation of it.

So after you heve payed for an account you cannot login anymore.

Rectificatie

After Many failed attempts I finaly received an email with a link to reset my password.
So after all, now I am able to use the news reader again.
I have to admit this company is NOT a scan company but if something goes wrong with your account you have to be very patient in order to get it fixed

They are not as fast as they claim. They will also prematurely end your trial.

If you sign up for a monthly plan they'll charge you for a yearly plan. Since they don't confirm the plan, per e-mail or in the customer portal, it's your word against them.

E-mail cancellation is ignored. If you do cancel via they're portal you will not receive any confirmation of it.

They will point to they're terms of service when they claim things. But what they claim isn't in the terms of service you got sent when you signed up for the trial.

Customer services will contradict themselves in e-mails.

they billed me for a year, even though I cancelled the trial period in time. I didn't get a confirmation, but that's not my fault.

I’m upset that I have to leave 1 star, this company deserves negative 10 stars! I made the HORRIBLE mistake of signing up for a “free” trial with this company & 10 YEARS later, I am still being harassed by these thieves!

Like sooooo many reviews on here, I signed up for the free trial, could not even access any of their service or even create an account, so within one hour of starting the free trial, I emailed them to cancel everything because I could not use the service. Never heard back from anyone and then like 3 years later, I started receiving demands for payment. I responded, telling them about the cancellation, but they refuse to acknowledge anything I say. This has been 10 years of harassment for a complete garbage service that couldn’t even be accessed!

They are the worst cyber criminals I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with! After reading all of the reviews on here, I am convinced that they maliciously ignore cancellation requests in an attempt to defraud people out of money. I have filed a complaint with US Federal Bureau of Investigation, Internet Crime Complaint Center, hopefully if they get enough complaints, they can shut these criminals down forever!!

Absolute scam, avoid like the plague!

I tried their usenext services on a trial basis, it wasn't great, attempted to cancel and they ignored my messages, they then charged me close to $100 for the year, I sent them an email asking them again to cancel and refund, they refused the refund but said they'd cancelled the account. Fast forward a year, they tried to go in again for another $100, I had already cancelled their paypal access by this point.

This is the best bit, they THEN started sending threatening emails that I OWED THEM $100 for a service I NEVER used!!

Now it's been passed on to some joke of a debt collector.

I'm not easily bullied and can laugh at this, they haven't a leg to stand on. But more vulnerable people could be targeted by these bufoons!

I signed up for the 14 day trial last year and tried to cancel on their website but it didnt let me. They do this intentionally so they can steal your money and cause you panic. They’re scammers and fraudsters.
However after sending them an email they did eventually cancel my trial, it took a couples of days. Heres what I said in the email:

Hello I started a free trial & I would not like to keep this subscription going. I would like for it to be stopped asap.
I have also seen that you don’t reply to users that have wanted to cancel this, if I don’t get this cancelled with-in the time you give I will take legal action againts your company.

Really bad company, when questioned via email you get replies with this sort of logic "You have signed up for our free trial package on February 28 2019 and you have neither chosen any other package nor cancelled your contract before it expired."

1. You are NOT given a way to choose another package
2. The only way to cancel is to PHONE Germany or EMAIL

There is no reminder, obviously deliberate

At least they seem to have accepted not to renew, but I will keep an eye out for next year, and have cancelled the acceptance in PayPal

Just been scammed by this company..now receiving emails/letters from them & their debt collection dept. Have no idea how I came to have their services .recently discovered they have been debiting my account for months. €15+ per month..Bank advised changing bank details..which we promptly did..have no idea how they got my bank details as it is only used for 3 specific household debits..sent WITHOUT PREJUDICE email to them asking what services I was paying for also how they got my details..My husband just discovered this site now..after seeing the distress this was causing me..Now going to cc my Abogados/Lawyers & possibly take out a Denuncia against them with the Guardia Civil ..also bring it to the attention of the Andalucia Directo programme..who regularly air these type of SCAMS on people..BEWARE folks..A sophisticated Scam for the unwary & innocent..

If it were possible to give no stars that's what this lot deserve. Complete scammers and fraudsters. This company needs investigating. I'm sure more vulnerable people pay up when threatened and they bank millions. They don't listen when you cancel. JUST READ OTHER REVIEWS. BEWARE.!!!

Scam company. Chased wrong user by debt collection company. I already reported police about the data abuse and the scam behaviour. Stay away from usenext.com and this company.

Signed up for the free trial back in 2017 and promptly cancelled well within the time frame. Yet, they tried to charge me £100-ish even though I cancelled and they keep sending me emails saying that I owe them this money and that if I don't pay by such a date they'll add interest and fees. I just received an email almost 2 years on!

Joke of a company. Don't take out the free trial. It won't end up being free. They'll try to charge you even though you cancelled!

They keep sending me a subscription bill and claiming money since 2013.. I have tied everything to get rid of them. They don't care, they don't reply to your emails.

I contacted a customer protection organisation called Testachat, they already sent a lawyer letter to ask them to stop their illegal behavior.

This is clearly a big scam.. Just look on how many people complain on Google about them. It's crazy. Can't belive these guys are still allowed to exist on Internet.

The worst company know to man So i get a email 11 hours ago saying that i owe them money yet i canceled ages ago yet they still have the urge of charging me for aload of crap that makes no sense i will be reporting them to trading standards as they make no logical sense whatsoever LISTEN YOU DO NOT CHARGE PEOPLE WHO HAVE CANCELED THE PLAN MY CARD WAS STOLEN I CANCEL THE PLAN YET YOU STILL CHARGE ME FOR SOMETHING THAT I NEVER HEARD OF ITS STUPID

Total scam. They charge you over £100 after the trial period.

A complete scam!!! After a trial period, cancelled in time, they wanted to charge me a debt for a month. The next step was to give my personal info to a debt collecting agency, which es forbidden in Spain. Stay away from that company!!!

They dont cancel your Free Trial And they will charge you the full amount

Scammers - watch out!

Someone signed up to this using my stolen card and details. The bank stopped all payments but they then started sending me threatening letters, despite emailing them with reference numbers from the police, bank etc to confirm that I had been a victim of identity theft. To this day 4 years later I am still being harassed! The service fee is for £100 or something but the charges are out of this world! I apparently owe them £2300 now with the original service fee and the charges to something I never even used or heard of! I did not sign up to these, I have sent the debt collectors proof that I was a victim of fraud but they just ignore me. They can't do anything from over there in Germany, it's not affecting my credit score so they will continue to be ignored from now on. If they ever do send it to a UK debt company then at least they have to abide by UK law and upon showing them the proof from the bank and police, they will go away!
