We had a great experience with Victoriacars.

After being blackmailed for an insurance of 200 euro or a 3000 euro deposit by another company, we ended up finding a deal with Victoriacars where everything was included for almost the same price as the insurance extotionists. They delivered the car where we were staying and I could deliver it at the airport in Alicante.

The car we had broke down the day before we were leaving, but we had a new car delivered 30min after we called. Outstanding service in my opinion.

I would highly reccomend them

If I could give this company 0 stars I would. They let the battery on the car run flat and then demanded money to replace it. Furthermore, broke their contract / written agreement of a 300 euro charge. For no reason whatsoever demanded 400 euro. Avoid this company at ll costs. FRAUDSTERS, CHEATS, COWBOY OPERATION. Should be investigated immediately

I returned the car and whilst they checked it they would not refund my security deposit saying it will be dealt with on Monday. A few days later I got my refund less 50€ no explanation beforehand.
When I challenged it with them they said I had scratched the door handle. Of course I challenged it with them asking which door handle because I had taken photos when I dropped it off. They could not or would not provide it and after many emails I reported it to my credit card company and today the money back.
Clearly they could not support their claim.

Everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Car was lovely, clean and the odd scratch was noted by David, who speaks fluent English and Spanish, when he dropped it off. It was delivered and collected from our hotel, The Cap Negret, and reception booked it for us and said they had had no problems with the company for the 7 years they’ve been using them. Petrol deposit 75 euros (just over £64) was returned to our bank account within a week. Would definitely use again.

I don’t have the same experience like other people. I hired a car at Valencia airport. Fast shuttle (little bit slower if we came back), decent car, and no problems with the money. Offcorse many people that are complaining doesn’t take a full insurance at the company, that’s asking for trouble. I always take the rent and the full insurance @the company and not another website. Well get back the fuel deposit, our experience was ok. So next time we maybe take the same company again. For our next vacation the price is a little higher than RecordGO, but you can sleep on you’re 2 ears, Victoriacars is a decent company. I’m happy with them…

They deducted €10 from the fuel deposit for no reason whatsoever as I filled up the car less than 1Km from thier Alicante office, I know it's only €10 and people had worst experiences but it's the principal.

This company is fraudulent.

I returned the car with NO damage FULL on October 5 2024. I waited for almost 50 minutes to be told "oh the queue is too long, give me the keys and your fuel receipt (yes I had to prove the amount of petrol filled within 5km of the airport) and you can go"

October 8, I get this mail telling me I damaged the car and they were deducting money from my deposit. There was no damage to that car. It was minded for the 3 weeks I had it so I wouldn't have to go through this absolute nonsense.

1st January 2025, I am yet to receive a follow up from my two email with regards to the unlawful deductions made to my deposit. It has been 2 months and 23 days and counting.

This car was returned FULL and my fuel policy was FULL to FULL. They have not refunded my full fuel deposit.

I requested a copy of their complaints procedure, which the are obligated to provide by law yet they have not fulfilled that request either

They were very busy when we arrived to collect the car, so there was a bit of a wait. It was dark and the car was parked in a space with other cars on either side. We were rushed, the person handing over the car barely looked around it and ran back into the office. When we returned the car they said we had caused damage to the front wheel trim. This wasn’t cased by us as we only drove the car to our accommodation and parked in a space with nothing else around it, no kerbs. I asked the Victoria car hire person, to look back at the previous car hire agreement to see if the damage was on there. He said he would. Once home, we were notified of a charge for damage. I have emailed Victoria cars requesting that the previous car hire record is looked at. They have not done this and have not responded. I advise taking your time on collecting your car, don’t be rushed and take plenty of pictures.

It was the second time that I have rent a car by Victoria Cars and I’m very satisfied. Nearly no waiting time by picking up
on the airport and also by bringing the car back. I had the 2 times a recent car and very friendly office people. I had a problem with my Iphone because my car didn’t accept my usb line to connect with Apple Car Play but I needed the newest one. By a visit in the Victoria office in
Calpe the manager was even so friendly going with me to the China shop nextdoor to chose the right one. I’m delighted of their service.

My problem started the day of pickup at Alicante Office. I refused to except their insurance as i have my own excess policy. Their body language and attitude to me changed in an instant. On showing me the car to rent they showed my every miniscule scratch / chip. It was at this point that i realised i was to have a bad experience with my return because any miniscule mark from road chippings were to classed as damage. Returned the car in the condition i received it, with a full tank of fuel. They refused to check the cars exterior for any new damage, chippings, OK d the fuel return. Said they would return my deposit 2-4 days. On returning home, my credit card had the security deposit withdrawn from day one, 900 euros, with a bank charge of £ 24. Still dont understand why they would need the money until returning the vehicle and having any issues. Five days later, had my deposit returned but 150 euros short. Showed me a photograph of a chip on the door sill, and it was miniscule. They have left me 150 euros, and £ 24 out of pocket all because of a refusal to take their insurance cover. A spiteful act, but if you read Victoria Cars reviews you can see that their practice is to steal money that isnt theirs. Avoid Avoid.

Still in dispute - with myself I think - as I e not had ONE reply followed up to my emails .
Same as all the other negatives on here - returned the car in the condition I took it , a few days later an invoice for damage that WASNT on the vehicle at return and told it would be “inspected “ when the boss came back ,outlaw outfit and totally disgusted with them .

Fraudulent transaction claiming damage to the car.
We took video footage of the vehicle on pick up and drop off.
Claimed to be damage to the car but no evidence provided to back up accusations. Ignoring correspondence emails now.
Take heed, you will be a victim!

I hired a car from them for one month. On returning the car I was told that the supervisor was not there to check the car and return 1000 euros deposit. I took photos of the car and the petrol gauge to show I had filled up and no damage to the car. Two weeks later and they only partially returned the deposit deducting 170 euros. When I called them they fobbed me off with a number that does not exist and an email address that does not respond. I called again and again and was told maybe there was mechanical damage to the car and that’s why they deduct the money. It’s a joke that they think they can charge the customers for maintaining the mechanics of the car. AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAQUE!

Be really careful when renting from them! The car was collected late at night and was all wet! You could not see anything- especially the tiny scratches that the car had! The car was unfortunately not prepared for us at all - the check engine light was on and there was no air in the front left tyre. Even after inflating I had to top up the air on the daily basis! Clearly the car not prepared for rental - smelly and dirty inside, with all the faults I mentioned!
All the marks were definitely there but were not visible at the time of the night with no light apart from your phone torch!

After returning the car I asked the staff if they want to check the car with me and I was told not to worry - this will be done later! I only drove the car to Gandia where I parked it on the private car parking, then back to the airport.
I rent the cars at least 4 times a year in Valencia airport and never had any issues with any other rental agencies! It was the first time I rented from them and will never do that again!
They charged me for all the scratches 250 euros! They also charged me for the missing petrol and I had filled the car in to full 500 meters from their office! I have all the receipts to prove it but they do not care! They did not even reply to my email! Believe me these people are liars so you were warned! It is all because I told them I did not need their extra insurance!!!! You are welcome to contact me for more details if needed.

Victoria cars charged me for damage which was not on the car when I returned it. I asked them to check the car and they said "don't worry" they would check it later. I trusted them but after a couple of weeks they charged my card for damage.

Avoid like the plague! I returned the Car I hired to them in perfect condition in Alicante after 2 weeks. It w dark when I returned it and the Agent didn't even look at it. He said I'd get my deposit back in 2-3 days. I waited and waited and waited. It took 6 weeks of emailing, WhatsApping, Facebook messages and calls to get any deposit back. When I called I was given a different number to call which went through to a Fax machine. I eventually received a partial refund with approx. £250 deducted with no explanation. I called and called and called and messaged again and they didn't reply. Eventually I ha to go through my Credit Card Comany and request a charge back which they gave me after another 2 weeks. DON'T GO NEAR THIS COMPANY!

This is by far the best car rental company that you can use from Alicante Airport. Professional, efficient, flexible and supportive.

I don't know why people gave this profitable car rental company 5 stars... this is the most terrible rental company I know, my experience was horrible... It's been 1 week since I delivered the car in perfect condition and with full fuel, and to this day they haven't given me my deposit or money back for the fuel. I'm going to wait a few more days, if they don't give it back to me I'm going back to the company and I want my money back.

The company unreasonably charges excessive fuel costs. I rented a Fiat Tipo, the tank capacity is 50 liters. When I returned the car, the fuel gauge showed almost 50% of the tank (5 divisions of 12). The company returned the money for only 12 liters of fuel (24% of the tank). Draw your own conclusions. In my opinion, this is a real scam. In response to a claim, they rudely replied that my claims did not concern them.

Same as the rest of reviews. Scam you. If you buy insurance nlanf its not with them they add anything to make some money. They checked car at 11pm on night with a iPhone torch. Drew on the sheet it had marks, scratches all over. Next day I checked in daylight and saw missed a few. I took pictures off these for my benefit.

Told me since I have baby under 2, didn't need to do the refuel, aswell it been 5.30 drop off. Was pay for full and get difference of what used after I brought back.

Well surprise when I get a email, charged for minor marks on bumper the yellow sheet u get to keep showed the full car had stone chips, scratches the full lot. Also door on right mild damage. ( I'm unsure how they look and determine car ) but the picture i took was on drivers side back door. But that was already there.

Also the surprise €20 refuel charge.

So they just lie to you, tell you anything. 🤔

I've tried emailing with bo reply as they know insurance will pay. There a scamming rental car company, which I would avoid if u didn't want the stress off after your holiday.
