I paid a deposit for the “free” survey…
I paid a deposit for the “free” survey and was told someone would attend within 4–7 days. On day seven, I received a last‑minute message asking if they could come that same day, but I wasn’t home. After that, communication stopped. When I emailed, I was told the fitter would call me to arrange a new time no call ever came. I then emailed to cancel and request a refund, explaining that the poor communication was already a red flag. Again, silence. Even after chasing the refund, I received no response. A company’s real test is how they handle issues, and unfortunately We do Doors chose silence over resolution. Based on my experience, I do not recommend them.

We advise that a fitter will contact within 7 days, which we are glad to see has happened, but understand there were scheduling conflicts.
As mentioned on the phone, there was a misunderstanding at our end due to your email being sent to more than one staff member, which resulted in your email not being responded to. This has been addressed internally and a procedure immediately put in place to ensure this does not happen again.
We want to assure anyone reading that we will never choose silence over resolution, and will always take accountability if we have not got it right.

We had a fantastic experience from start to finish.
Kerrie Wilkinson was brilliant when arranging the survey and quotation. We needed a larger than standard dog flap fitted, and she went out of her way to source one for us and add it to the quote. She confirmed everything clearly and kept us well informed throughout.
Stephen Stout our fitter was excellent. He was friendly, professional and wonderful with both our dog and our children. His workmanship was spot on, and he was genuinely lovely to speak with.
Andy Nicholson from the project team kept communication flowing, letting us know when the door had arrived and responding quickly to emails.
Overall, responses were always quick, everyone was very friendly, the price was competitive and the fitting was done to a high standard. We’ve had no issues at all, but feel confident we could reach out if needed.
Thank you to the whole team! We have a very happy large labrador now able to go in and out as she wants!

Misleading and slow service
*9th march update- as they seem to be suggesting all the bad reviews are false and I'm not going to be gaslit - I have a nickname on here which is different to my actual name. I think that's fair. They seem to be suggesting that means it's not a legitimate review or is false info. It is a true account of what happened to me, and I have screenshots of the misleading website, which they appear to have changed now*
*just to update as their reply makes it look like I'm not a customer - I gave them the right details*
Sadly, I didn't have a great experience getting a front door.
It took me 2 weeks after giving the deposit (more on that in a minute) to get the fitter round, who was really vague about when he'd be coming.
They asked for a deposit before the fitter, then another when he'd been and I wanted to finalise the order.
HOWEVER - in a number of places on the website it states they don't need any deposit until the door is installed - including a big pop up box when you first enquire. I haven't misinterpreted this, it's very clear, and I have screenshots.
I budgeted to pay for this door when it had been fitted, likely 6-8 weeks as I was told.
I was kind of ok with paying some before the fitter came, but when they then ask for a substantial amount after pretty much selling the service on no deposit, it got annoying and they lost my trust.
I was told by them that they'd changed their policy and were "working hard" on getting their website changed. It's really not that hard to remove wording then change the policy, instead the other way around.
They say they're refunding me. I really hope so.

Gorgeous composite front door
I recently had a composite front door installed by We Do Doors and I'm absolutely delighted with the final result. From start to finish my experience with the team was extremely professional and friendly. Kerrie, sales advisor went through all my options on several occassions, and futher sent out colour samples and images of what the final door would look like.
Once I'd decided to place an order, Gordon came out to measure up. He again took time to talk through what door would work well for me - including colour and design, drawing on his experience of fitting doors across Scotland. Gordon helped me to choose a composite door in Chartwell Green, a colour I loved but wasn't confident enough to go for without a bit of encouragement.
A few short weeks later Gordon was back out to fit my door (and frame) in a super efficient, friendly and professional manner.
My new door looks absolutely stunning (I'm sure I'm the envy of the street ☺️🤫). It's also extremely solid, safe and energy efficient - with a noticeable difference in warmth levels at the front of my house. I really couldn't be more delighted, once again thanks to all at We Do Doors 😀😄😍!

Excellent experience with We Do Doors. Craig did a great job on the phone taking me through the quote and process. I had to make a few changes to the order last minute, wasn’t a problem. Craig was very responsive and always got back to me. Measuring and fitting arranged and handled very smoothly. The door is solid, secure, and looks smart. Very good job.

Front and Back Composite doors
Front and Back Composite doors. Both doors ordered early December and fitted in January. Throughout the time I was kept informed of the progress of the manufacture and delivery times. The communication from the company was excellent. When the doors arrived they were above my expectations.Very good quality control.
Our fitter was Chris and he fitted both doors on the same day. We were very impressed with the standard of his workmanship. He has done a lovely job and we are very pleased with the quality of the doors and all the waste was cleaned up before he left.
Overall I would recommend We Do Doors and would use them again if needed.

Terrible service but quality product
The door is great but the service was absolutely awful. They use independent fitters. Ours failed to attend two appointments and not only that, failed to even let us know he wasn't coming. His failure to keep in contact was astounding. We didn't want to have him back a third time but the company insisted they had no other local fitters. On the third date he was three hours late. The company agreed this was completely unacceptable but distanced themselves from him and very little was done to put it right. I was initially offered a £50 goodwill payment which was increased to £100 but the whole experience was very frustrating and tiresome.

We do understand that the situation you have described has made you unhappy, but want to stress that we will always do all that we can to provide a great service to our customers. This service was clearly demonstrated to you in how we dealt with addressing your issues and having them resolved to the point you were very happy with your door.
In this particular case, we offered compensation as you have mentioned, which you refused. We increased this offer and you were still not happy. You not only asked us to compensate you to a point that the sum quoted by you was beyond excessive, but you made it clear that if we don’t, it will reflect on the score you provide online.
We would like to clarify that what you were asking us to do is morally wrong, but also goes against Trustpilot’s guidelines. In short, it is not acceptable to buy reviews.
We only wish you had rated us based your true overall experience, and not the discount applied.
We are sorry that, despite our efforts to resolve matters fairly, you remain dissatisfied.
