Sent my phone for repair seven months ago. Still not received the device and cannot phone anyone regarding it. Pathetic.
Please stay away from this company and their products.
VERY POOR MOBILE & EVEN WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE
Contacted their customer service, using the chat button and it appeared that the lady was reading from a script. She just kept repeating the same standard sentences. Eventually, she just got bored and stopped communicating. My phone is just 7 months old and just stopped working. They state that they are "new and fresh, born in London, challenging and different", although their customer service is in San Francisco, doesn't appear to be much British about them. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
Terrible customer service!
I cannot remember ever dealing with a company this bad! My phone worked fine then the update came along. The next day, it was a brick! They told me to send it to their own repair company. I sent it recorded, and eventually they acknowledged receipt then ......... nothing! Requests for an update are ignored. Webchat isn't replied to and there's no other contact details. It's a total shambles.
I may get my phone back, I may not - but my confidence in them is at zero so I may just give it a week or two and just buy a more reliable phone from a reputable manufacturer.
Do Not Buy WileyFox Phones!!
False economy, while the phones are of reasonable quality for the money, they are completely let down by the company behind them, I have tried to support British, but have given up. It has been a rocky road and what we have just been through to try and get a phone repaired (which is under warranty) is verging on criminal. So firstly about 12-18 months ago, Cyanogen which was the Android flavour that WF were using pulled the plug on the OS, suddenly all the phones out there were on a unsupported OS and they had to rapidly roll out the WF version of Android, which they did albeit buggy. Then they went into administration, leaving all their customers out in the wind as to whether the devices they had were going to be updated/supported/repaired going forward. Santok Group stepped in at the last minute and agreed a licensing deal to cover the handsets in Europe. They eventually released Android 8.1 to my phone, but it has been extremely unstable, since the update I have had about 4 factory resets. The final nail in the coffin for me and WF came when one morning the phone wouldn't switch on, it had been on charge over night, but the unit was completely dead. Shipped it off to WF to be repaired under warranty. The phone went missing, then about 2 and half weeks later suddenly reappeared. I received notification that they wouldn't be honouring the warranty as there was water damage, now whilst I have been known to be a little hard on my phones, I swear hand on heart that this phone was nowhere near water. I received a quote for £220 for the repair, which I obviously rejected as that is the cost of a new phone. I have to say I was suspicious at this stage as the updates were random, and in digging deeper into Wileyfox's approved repair company there are a huge number of customer complaints suggesting that the company's practices are verging on fraudulent. I requested the return of the handset, which cost in the region of £20 to have it shipped back to me, as I figured it had been declared out of warranty so I might as well get a local "repair person" to have a look at it, here is the clincher, I got it back, plugged it in, left it on charge and hey guess what it is working....I suspect that there was never anything wrong with the phone, and yet WF were wanting to charge me the cost of a new phone to repair it.
I have subsequently bought a new phone, at a similar cost to the WF, from a large company, the after sales support on this remains to be seen, but if I look at the costs over the last 12 months, we have the initial purchase price of £220, the £20 shipping costs to have the phone returned and the cost of a new handset from Huawei, £220, so at £460 I may as well have just bought a higher end handset from a reputable company and not had a shaky 12 months of ownership. I would steer well clear of Wileyfox, Santok and their approved repair centres.
If I could give minus stars i would
If I could give minus stars i would. Don't buy, my phone has been returned for the second time in a year. Sent back over 2 weeks ago and have had no contact since. Tried the online so called customer assistance, no help whatsoever. Just left waiting for them to connect me to a team leader. Just a fob off. Not sure I will ever see my phone again. Maybe have to try a solicitor. Never, never buy from th em.
Avoid ... avoid ... avoid
A dreadful shower with no customer service to back up their dodgy phones.
It's a pity, the hardware was quite good at first, but the second anything went wrong, they disappeared.
I sent an email, no reply, sent another, no reply, sent a third, got some initial copy-paste replies that showed they weren't reading the mails, then they ignored me. So I tweeted, that was answered, then all further messages ignored, so I tried Facebook ... same, an initial friendly response, then no further replies ... dreadful bunch of amateurs, don't go near them!
Wileyfox Swift 2 does not work after…
Wileyfox Swift 2 does not work after upgrade. Wileyfox went into administration and the company is under new management. They do not honour any warranty claims as they say they have not sold these phones. RIDICULOUS !!! Don't trust them!!!
Shocking customer service, mobile does not work after upgrade
Like a lot of the complaints on here I started experiencing problems with my mobile after the Oreo update. Difficult to charge, some apps were having performance issues and in the end it just switch itself off, couldn't use it.
I spoke to the so called customer service 3x, initially they denied there was an issue with the upgrade, then they were saying it was probably one of my apps that was causing the problem... now they are finally admitting that there was an issue with the upgrade but I'm expected to deal with a faulty mobile in the meantime... what a joke.
Cool mobile shame about the company.
Don't buy, shocking service and I wouldn't be surprised if this company goes under in the next few months.
No words.
No words. Do not buy a Wiley fox online now there is no one to fix it or answer your questions.
Absolutely rubbish
Absolutely rubbish ,do not buy a wileyfox phone ,update kills it and customer service is sooooo poor it's non existent
Oreo and customer services
What an absolute shame. Such a lovely phone then Oreo rendered it useless. It stopped charging and didn't turn on. It was under a year old so i managed to pull out some policies and get a full refund from where i purchased it. Customer services is done by robots because the company has gone into administration. Such a shame. If your phone is under a year old use the Financial Services Compensation Scheme to get your money back people, because unfortunately an ombudsman won't be able to help as the company is in administration.
awful customer service
awful customer service, do not stick to delivery times. no phone number, online messenger is down. no reply to email.
Run, fast.
Post takeover the customer service is non existent, no updates, no security patches, emails not answered, nothing. Avoid like the plague. Phone now in drawer, Bluetooth totally borked in update. Useless garbage from a hipster company.
Awful service
Awful service. Unprofessional and unacceptable customers excellence. The "care" team is just ignoring my messages and emails. Avoid this company!
Unfortunately this is a great phone
Unfortunately this is a great phone. Now I know that sounds like a contradictory phrase but please stay with me and I will explain.
The phone gets a 5* from us it is brilliant, however a review is not just based on the phone it is based on the overall service you get.
Aftersales -10* (5* - 10* = -5*) but I have to give it 1* as minus * isn't an option, and here's why:
We have 2 x Wileyfox swift 2 plus's in our household and we were about to increase that to 3. But then we needed to use our screen replacement warranty card. The warranty was refused.
Now the phone is manufactured in Britain by Wileyfox that went into administration in February 2018 and sold to Santok Group in March 2018. That is how they justify refusal to honour the warranty.
So you may think its going to be fine now, new company, new finance, but what if the screen still has and what stops Santok Group selling again so warranties are not honoured? Nothing!
To make matters even worse Santok Group have told Amazon (the retailer) not to provide any replacements for faulty phones outside 30 days and to refund leaving the consumer out of pocket, as the new phones are more expensive now, which was what the Consumer Rights Act of 2015 was designed to prevent.
So don't be fooled, a great phone with a less than desirable after sales experience, its a brand I will not trust. I urge anyone reading this to do their research and just look at all the negative comments on Facebook. You will need to look at comments on Wileyfox posts as they have disabled visitor posts, no doubt due to the level of complaints.

Rang customer service and apparently no one is there. Rang again and protected a wanted to buy a phone got put straight though. Liars and cheats. Aviod
Bought a spark x and right from new it…
Bought a spark x and right from new it has problem with caller sometimes breing unable to hear me. This is a firmware problem, the result of the hasty switch to android after the demise of cynogen. Customer support just gives prob the same advice to everybody, factory reset and if no solved, send the phone back. Obviously was looking for them to release a fix as sending it back will not fix it. Bad purchase choice
Poor product and no support
Ive had 2 phones from wileyfox, most recent Swift Plus 2 and both failed to work after the battery went dead and would charge again. I repeatedly asked for support but gone none. In the end I just gave up which meant I wasted my money and now have a Huawei which is far better.
To explain more, I was on a journey and the battery ran out and it would not charge again. I read a lot of other people having the same issue online (research it yourself and you will see 1000s of posts about their faulty products) but having tried everything I had read still couldnt get the phone to charge or boot.
I asked for support from wileyfox on twitter, facebook, email and using the online support service. After several ignored attempts I finally got a response on the support page telling me I needed a more powerful charger, which I purchased but it still didnt fix the issue. I replied to them to tell them that it didnt work and then they just ignored me again.
I kept trying to get a response but got nothing.
My advice is, do not buy any products from wileyfox and they clearly have a large software or battery issue that they dont know how to fix.
Dont waste your money or time on them.

COMPANY IN ADMINISTRATION
Company is now in administration, explaining the lack of response to customer service requests. Administrators said customer services would continue as normal but they've obviously forgotten to check that mailbox.
