XS Direct Car Insurance UK 

Almost everyone has exposed this scam insurance company in their reviews, detailing how it has deceived them through various tactics. Unfortunately, I had a similar experience. In April 2021, I was involved in an accident where the other person's car sustained only minor scratches. However, through fraudulent means, they managed to inflate the repair bill to nearly £13,000, an amount that was completely unjustifiable. XS Direct then deducted £350 from excess for my own vehicle’s repairs, which I had paid out of pocket, and demanded that I cover the remaining £2,650 in excess. When I requested a thorough investigation and pointed out that the other party was falsely inflating the claim to extort money, instead of addressing my concerns, XS Direct threatened me with legal action if I fail to pay the amount. After my experience of being scammed by them, my advice is simple: avoid any dealings with XS Direct at all costs. If I had the option, I would give them zero stars. 😡

Do not use this company!!! My goodness! They are awful. After 3 years of having very minor accident, they sent me letter saying I am owing them £1700!!! 2 days later I receive a letter from debt collector. If I can give this company “0” star I definitely would. Do not use them. I would rather pay an expensive company. My goodness I am so annoyed 😡.

The insurance is a scam. After playing with my complaints for 2 years, they wrote me to pay 1700 pounds for someone who actually hit my vehicle.

They said they couldn't repair my vehicle because I didn't have an independent witness, even though I had someone in my passenger seat. How do I now pay someone who hit my vehicle and didn't have anyone in his car? Does he get his vehicle repaired at my expense? I don't even know where to get the 1700, and they are now threatening me with a legal battle. They have transferred my case to a debt collector despite disputing the claim.

I am exhausted, scared and frustrated. I have never been in this position before, and I do not know how to handle it.

This insurance is a joke! Do not choose them if you dont want to pay thounds pounds at the end.
I has a minor accident, I didnt make any claim and after 1.5 year they emailed me saying that I need to pay £4000!
Do you know what is the most interesting? In small writing in their contract it says that they DO NOT cover 3rd party costs after an accident. So all the bills and payment are on your head. Basically you pay them for nothing

They are scammers. Cancelled my incurance after 9 months without any reason and when i call told me no have any incurance with them so please careful.

Literally the worst company ever for insurance! They extra charged me 400 pounds because I didn’t have a job during the lockdown!!! I had to pay 3k the insurance plus I scratched a car and had to pay other 3k!!! I paid this company stupid money for insurace! I wasn’t even covered!!! Avoid them!

Last year they claimed I done a hit and run and I kept telling them I didn't hit any car , they didn't believe me , so they paid out the other driver and put it down on The database as a non fault claim . Without me knowing.

One of the worse company i come across, instead helping their client they keep the client in dark And punish them with rejecting claim. Not only that but also giving u stress and recording the false injury claim on my policy. Which i am taking them in legal way. They never look into non-fault claim u made but they too focus to record a claim against u even u not involve in it.

this is the worst insurance company anyone could ever think of,if you have the chance stay far away from them and never do business with this company,all they care about is getting money off you and never want to have your bavk for anything. i have had anxiety ,panic from dealing with this company

Basically if you need to claim just go to the ombudsman straight away , my car was stolen , the thief was caught i am going to court on 04-04-22 to witness against him , he stole 2 cars from my compound , he was caught both cars were returned , police reports availabe , court dates are there .

BUT XS DIRECT IS DECLINING ANY CLAIM SINCE THE CAR WASN'T STOLEN ACCORDING TO THEM .

Anyone go with solicitor against this insurance? I was in my country with my car and someone clone my plates and make a accident and the insurance cancel my policy i have paid it for a year.. never return my money

Terrible insurance Company. Unhelpful, and only care about themselves. Won't give you a chance to speak your side of the story, nor ask for evidence. Accept anything given to them and payout whatever is asked for. Highly unprofessional company, how they are regulated and allowed to keep working I have no idea.

It's a very bad insurance company I have a non-fault claim with them and after I'm waiting for three months to give me the result and my money they cancel my policy for no reason and they were too rude to me

Disgusting is the first word I think of with x s direct there lack of cumunication is diabolical in fact the whole company is' there lack of justification and fairness is disgraceful they will not call or email or make any efforts in resolving bills and will hang you out to dry they will take everything from you PLEASE PLEASE stay well clear of this company there scandalous and will take everything they can get from you they won't call you they won't email you they will change arranged payment dates they will lie to you they will cancel your policy without warnings they will cut your heart out and eat it I cant express in words how sickerning theses people are how immoral how these people get away with it from my experience they have ruined my life and I have now got severe depression and been severely affected by x s direct after struggling from having covid after struggling threw family losses and to being homeless they have no reasoning no compassion and I hope one day they will be exposed to the relentless fees from a prang with a car door iv had to pay thousands and thousands and now they want another thousand without warning your dispicable this is the world we live in and the people have had enough of blood sucking voltures like you

I called to make an enquiry on a claim I was considering taking out after being involved in a minor hit and run, it was decided that I wouldn't go forward with the claim and would fix the car myself to avoid losing my no claims bonus and also since the repairs would cost less than the £3000 excess which I was fine with and already understood, the company too agreed with me that that was the best decision for me. I have now come to the end of my insurance and have seen that they have written down I have a claim on my policy and charged me an extra £2,000 for the renewal price, to my additional first year costs. I called up to try and rectify the issue and have been informed that indeed that there should have been a follow up email sent to confirm that the case was not to effect my policy let the broker and under writers from grove and teen were too lazy to finish their jobs and have left me suffering as collateral damage, whilst it has been agreed that the fault is not mine no effective results have been seen, they still haven't sent the letter of settlement, despite being on the phone for hours and being transferred to person after person, they appear very unprofessional and clearly don't know what they’re doing. I would avoid and go to a more reputable company.

Not even a single star or i can give -10 stars beacuse my car got stolen in September no ine is bothered from these guys to pay my insured amount big time scammers

why send me reneewall insurence if i don't use this van,and canseled this insurence

Not even 1 star and I can't believe that this company is still operational.
They have no regard for their customers and whilst dealing with me have made significant failings.

Fortunately, I complained to the Ombudsman and they upheld my complaint against these crooks and ordered them to pay back the amount I was overcharged.
