Rent a Car 

They are known fraud company. Don't talk to them on phone because everythinhg they tell you is a lie. You can get your deposit back only if your bank make a charback claim, so go to the bank to get your money back.

Scammers, they wont return your deposit. Be smart and don't rent from this company. They will take your money and won't return your calls and mails.

They deducted the security deposit on 3rd day from my card and on asking said it will be returned 14-30 days after the car it returned but its 42 days passed they didn't return the 314.45 euro which were suppose to be security deposit and now don't pick the call or reply to messages or email.

Didn’t wait for us at Sofia airport,as promised by Carjet.
No office there,just mobile number.
Staff extremely rude,we were left stranded without a car around midnight.
Avoid like a plague!!

This company YES rent a car, you should avoid at any cause. Yes they are cheaper then others, but in the end you pay more.
The deposit is missing after 30 days. They are not answering their phones, e-mails. Contacted Carjet, but there is nothing they can do about the deposits.
They are not sending/giving back the signed contracts. No Office can be found. When returning the car, all company phones were out of service. Waitied for an hour and got a phone call on What's up from the YES employee, asking me where am I. What is the reason for not returning the rental.

ABSOLUTE SCAMMERS STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!! THEY NEVER GAVE BACK MY 300 EUR DEPOSIT AND NOW THEY SENT ME FAKE INVOICE FOR DAMAGES (NON-EXISTING COMPANY AND DIFFERENT CAR REGISTRATION NUMBER ON IT) AND MY SIGNATURE WAS FORGED. I'M BULGARIAN AND I'VE NOTIFIED THE BULGARIAN AUTHORITIES, THE MEDIA AND CARJET AND I AM CURRENTLY INVESTIGATING THEM!

Scammers, 7 different groups of people left stranded at airport today. Local taxi drivers all saying these people are scammers and it’s always happening. Why has nothing been done about this from carjet ?? No one picks up on arrival, none existence. Avoid!!

I rented the car on the 25th of May 2024 and gave the car back the same day without any problems.
I am now waiting more than 2 months for the return of the deposit of Euro 300.

Moreover, the deposit was charged in my credit card as an expense, not a funds block: as a consequence I had been forced to pay this amount with my credit card.

They do not provide any answer. Please avoid renting with them.

Me and my family booked a car with Carjet in Bulgaria.
On our voucher it said, that someone from the car company (YES rent a car) would pick us up in the arrival hall. No one came.

We tried calling the rental company many times. First time they picked up the phone and said they would look into it and get back within 5 minutes. We did not hear from them again. I tried calling them about 10 times, but they ignored my call.

I also tried calling Carjet. After waiting in line for almost 30 minutes I explained my situation and they hung up! I tried another time - waiting for around 30 minutes and they disconnected me again.

After that episode we were left stranded in Sofia airport. Me my wife and 3 kids needing to sleep. So I was forced to book any car I could get. The one I found was 3 times the price.
I tried cancelling the one that I booked but of course I received an email saying that was too late. So now I also need to make a claim through my bank. What a hassle!

Never again trust Carjet or YES Rent a car!

The company is a REAL and PROFESSIONAL SCAMMER even they copied our signs on contract that we never signed. They charged our 300 euro by mentioning after all rental finished that "we had smoked in car" but we are non smoker... Just a few biscuit parts photos taken and send to us as they were ashes !!! and these photos were taken 2 hours after car delivered. If during delivery they shoved us those small biscuits will be a problem just for 20 leva (10 eur) there are cleaners to clean full car outside airport. But the guy said thats o.k. no problem. we had mailed many many times not possible to contact with them and they all ignore. Even we informed tourism agency bulgaria and kzp they were so slow. we informed our bank about this and as 11th of july our bank is informed that we are right and refunded our 300 eur they charged to us. Be aware from this company, never work with them. also as I checked their trustpilot score when this happened it was below 2 star. But now I see that there were 5 star reviews all names couldnt be Bulgarian people from Bulgaria location. They are trying to get their score up even by fake accounts.

If there was an option to give 0 starts I would. This company in Bulgaria was a total SCAM. We have communicated for weeks to make sure that the reservation was okay. Today when we showed up at the airport there was no office, no one answered the phone and we quickly realised that we were scammed...

Absolute scam. Security deposit was not returned.

We discovered Yes Rent a Car's website on Google and chose them for our trip to Bulgaria. Upon arriving at Varna Airport in early July, we were greeted at the arrivals area by staff holding signs with our names. The entire process of picking up the car took about 20 minutes. We received a new Renault Clio with good tires and a clean interior. For two weeks, we used the car to visit Burgas and some beautiful nearby beaches. At the end of our trip, we returned the car at Varna Airport, where a company employee inspected it and provided a report.

Staff were very approachable and polite from start to finish.Bought a new car from them and everything ran smoothly.

This company it's a big scam! Don't rent from them! First, they didn't meet and greet at the airport as expected. Second, they gave me a 20 years old wreck worth less than the deposit.
Third, they don't return your deposit and they are ignoring your phone calls and messages, so de facto you have bought a car that you don't own usually.

Two months with ignorance from them i have made a claim through my credit card issuer which they rejected the same day I warned them that I will contact a lawyer and go through the Bulgarian authorities if they don't return the deposit.

I say it again, don't rent from this company if you want to lose your money so I give them one star( I would give them zero if it was possible).

I have reported the company to the Bulgarian customer agency kzp.bg and I strongly recommend you guys here to report them too!. We are many customers of this awful scam company who wants our money back.

I rented a car with "Yes Rent A Car" and after two months from the end of the rental the deposit has not yet been devolved back. The "Yes Rent A Car" rental company has not provided any reason and does not even answer to mails.

Avoid to rent with this rental cars company, you will lose your deposit.
