This place is the absolute worst! I ordered what I thought was a beautifully decorated chocolate raspberry cake and champagne for my sister's birthday. What she got was a battered box with a mashed "strawberry shortcake" in a plastic container that looked like it came from Costco. I understand substitution policies but the substitution is supposed to be of equal value. There is no way the mess they sent came close. I have requested a full refund but I'm not holding my breath.

Ordered a gift basket for my family and I was pleasantly surprised to find it arrived in less than 24 hrs from ordering! There were 3 substitutions but it was for same quality products or nicer. Very happy with the experience! Was a bit worried as I read reviews after placing my order as the website is lovely and I am glad to say it was perfect. Thank you! Will send baskets with you guys again 😊 I wanted to post this review because there’s a lot of negative ones but for people worried just thought it might help. I don’t know if ordering in Toronto region makes a difference as that’s where I ordered.

This company deserves - minus stars ⭐️! I ll gonna sue them!! I ordered balloons, cake and flowers for Mother’s Day to surprise my mom but I was shocked instead as the delivery didn’t arrive at all!!! This company needs to be shut down and our money should be refunded!!!

I wish I googled them before I ordered from them! As most of the reviews below, I ordered a basket for my friend who lost her father. She is in NY, I am in UK. There was one initial email confirming the purchase and nothing else. My credit card was charged. I am calling them to only be prompted to leave a voicemail. I will be reporting them as scammers to my bank on Monday and will see where else I can report them in US.
Update: After emailing them and threatening with Better Business Bureau (thank you to another review for the advice) I finally got their attention and received a response! The basket was delivered to my friend within couple hours after that. I asked my friend to take a picture of it and it actually looks good. So all in all - decent basket, terrible service, especially when they claim 24/7 support. I will give them an extra 2 stars for a decent basket and not having to wait for it for a couple of months like others had on this thread.

So, now in late April I've had no response from the firm apologising, wanting to help, replace or rectify... taken my money (which my bank is now filing a dispute) , and I've sent over 70 emails!

I don't get a refund, only a credit note or re-delivery! When I ask? Will it be my original order I requested in February, etc etc... nothing! Oh failed to tell me the order had been delivered! Well what was it?
Mother in USA called to say she had an appalling delivery from this nasty company whereby a women rocked up (No Mask)! Couldn't speak English, threw the items ( not sure what they were) to the door front and said "I can't stop my mother is Dying"!!!

A very bad experience.
From the U.K. I ordered a bottle of whisky and “gourmet snacks” from Yorkville’s NJ to send to my friend in NJ. A very light cellophane-wrapped basket arrived containing two bags of potato chips and a candy bar but no whisky. Realising something was wrong my friend took photographs of the unopened basket for me to send with a complaint to Yorkville’s customer service department. Two months later, after numerous emails and phone calls I have never managed to communicate with Yorkville’s. I appealed to Paypal for help and they advised me to file a complaint with the police or a government agency and to send them a copy. Ultimately Paypal have not been able to help me get redress and have denied my claim and closed the case. I urge all unhappy Yorkville customers to file a complaint with the US Federal Trade Commission for consumer protection. They do not take on individual cases but they build up a picture of companies that have cheated their customers. This has been an upsetting experience but I’m now hopefully wiser. In future I will research companies thoroughly before I buy.

Was 2 months overdue with more than a month advanced ordering. Tried to call the number but due to covid, they don't answer and say to leave an email. The email produces a generic response saying that due to covid there may be delays. After contacting the Better Business Bureau, I finally had a real person email me. No apology for the long wait and surprisingly, it was shipped out that day. When the order arrived, it was missing items and the bowl that comes with the one I ordered, was smashed. When I emailed back, she responded with they ran put of stock so that is why I didn't get the chocolates and also she would send a new bowl. Well another 2 months and I still have not received the replacement or any apology. Horrible customer service. Next time I will see what gift baskets they have and make my own saving lots of money....thanks for the ideas!!
Smashed cake, missing balloons, surprised they are still in business
I ordered two times from Yorkville's -- both times they messed up. For the first order, there were two missing balloons. For the second order, the birthday cake was completely smashed (and it was the wrong cake, there no was happy birthday like I ordered, and there was no balloon). You can imagine my embarrassment when your best friend receives a completely smashed up cake from you. Honestly, don't use these guys. I am surprised they are still in business.

HORRIBLE COMPANY TO DO BUSINESS WITH!!!!!!!! My sister who lives in Florida contacted them January 24 to have a tirimisu cake delivered to my house in Connecticut for my birthday on February 2. I live in Connecticut where they offer same day service from the warehouse in New York and New Jersey, February 2 came and went no cake. On February 23 it was delivered, did you know it sat in the warehouse all that time and the best part was it was a vanilla buttercream?!?!?!
Contacted them and they said that they try to tell people not to order perishable food for instances like this, unless they are going to pay for the high end delivery charge, they looked and said that because my sister did not pay that there was no guarantee. The substitution is very common (the website says substitutions are rare) but by her adhering to the contract she ok’d this. I said oh the legality of this, is that where you want to go? By accepting her signed agreement you accepted the delivery of February 2, which did not happen even though I live in a same day state, their response was no compensation. Would you eat a cake that sat in warehouse almost 4 weeks?

Ordered the italian gift basket and added additional cheese (2 different varieties). Items were NOTHING like items ordered, over half of the items missing, and the additional items ordered not included. Complained to the company who after some back and forth agreed that I should ship it back for a refund. Of course as a gift delivered to another country, which they are fully aware of, this was not a satisfactory answer. Do not believe the reviews on their website. Im convinced they write them themselves. Horrible experience. Try hazeltons instead. I sent two through them and was very happy with the results. I will NEVER use these thieves again.
Missed a part of a WEDDING gift…
Missed a part of a WEDDING gift delivery. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. They missed flowers from our friend's wedding gift delivery which were supposed to be the bride's wedding flowers on the day. They took over two weeks to respond to my complaint which was issued on the same day and now they are asking photographic evidence of the flowers that were not delivered and have said as I don't have photos, they will not be able to address my complaint.?! Absolutely the worse customer service I have ever experienced.

I ordered the Artisan Cheese & Wine Gift Platter which included 2 cheeses, and I supplemented my order with a further 8 cheeses as a gift for my cheese-loving daughter. None of the cheeses that I ordered were delivered and only 2 substitute cheeses were supplied; the other 8 cheeses were substituted with 2 sticks of bacon salami (I hadn't ordered any meat in the hamper). The wine glass was omitted, the cheese board was damaged in transit from glass jars rubbing on it, and a leak from an olive oil bottle.
The hamper was ordered on 13th December 2020 and collected on 18th December. It took 11 days to arrive at Vancouver; it sat there for 16 days; it was eventually delivered on 14th January 2021, 32 days after my order was placed.
Oscar from their Customer Services department has clearly been instructed by Yorkville's management to refer all customers to the T&Cs regarding substitutions and not offer customers a refund under any circumstances, even for damaged items or for items omitted in their error.
Any substitutions are meant to be to the same or greater value, and the customer should be advised of substitutions before or at least at the time of dispatch. When my order was dispatched I received a dispatch note confirming that every single item I had ordered was successfully dispatched with no substitutions or omissions.
The company still refuses to inform me what the items were that they actually supplied. They don't have a clue.

Not sure about Canada but the US business sucks too. They are a scam and we lost around $450 with them.
Our delivery was supposed to come 1 month ago and it didn't arrive. Call them- voice message, Email - no response. I chat with the customer service rep and asked for a refund since they don't even know when my product is going to arrive, they say no refund even it is their fault. So I checked their T&C and it does say no entitlement to refund whatsoever. So I asked them to give me the ETA on this product, and the answer was "we don't know". Hence, this might take another month or maybe will never arrive.
This company DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMERS SO DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND ENERGY HERE.

For me the experience was amazing! It was delivered on time, with everything I selected and so beautifully put together! Although it was delivered within Toronto! :) Maybe that's something to keep in mind!
