Since buying my car I had 2 minor…

Since buying my car I had 2 minor issues both times they were quickly resolved, At first it was the ac blowing out warm, I was booked into Mercedes benz chichester for the following week and the issue was sorted and today I had toby come out to reset the service meter as it hadn’t been done on the most recent service, he sorted the issue quickly and came nice and early which was good

This was our first time buying a car…

This was our first time buying a car from Cinch and we changed our mind on the type of car prior to collection. This turned into a bit of a headache for us given we needed to cancel car insurance, breakdown & tax. We had a family bereavement 3 weeks ago and needed to replace a motability car asap. Courtney Harvey was awesome and helped us navigate this process. Nothing was to much trouble and she was polite and efficient. I would highly recommend to All. Complete peace of mind

I've tried buying second hand cars and frankly it's such a lottery and I end up spending more on garage fees than if I'd bought a decent car. Not only do I get peace of mind with Cinch but they make the buying experience really easy and feel like it's a bit special. Lovely staff.

So far the Cinch experience has been…

So far the Cinch experience has been great and effortless.

From picking a car online to it being delivered to our door. It certainly saved us a whole day from travelling to a car dealership and then sitting around for hours dealing with paperwork. I certainly am satisfied so far.

The car was as described, a few wear an tear bits on a tyre but it is a pre loved car so have to expect some wear and tear!

TIP Get your car checked before the 14 day return expires

I purchased my car and exercised my right to return within 14 days. This was due to the car needing a Timing Belt which was cracked upon delivery. It also had a battery which was not secured in the engine and various other smaller faults

I found this out only due a check at my local garage who gave the car the once over.

If you buy a car from Cinch, request a check from your garage ASAP after delivery as it seems that although cars come with new MOTS not everything is checked obviously.

The return was handling swiftly so at least that was something.

Impressive customer service

I have been impressed by the clear and timely communication providing clear instructions for the handover and part exchange of my car. Also got a very competitive part ex quote that was a big factor in me making the decision to go with Cinch. The delivery service was good, The young man who delivered the car was very professional and explained everything well. Overall I have been impressed with the customer service.

This is a great car purchasing model

The actual buying process was very simple straightforward and went without any hitch. I’ll give the company 10 out of 10 for that however your after sale service needs some work.

It is difficult to contact Cinch using the chatbot function as it has major limitations-as all chat bots do

I have read about the lack of after sales service in the trust pilot reviews so was prepared to take a risk and go ahead with the purchase based upon the 14 day return guarantee ,and I am overall happy with the vehicle.

However there is a minor fault with the headlight on the driver side that was collecting moisture and it wasn’t dissipating and I reported it via the chatbot the same day I took delivery of the vehicle .

After 48 hours with no update about repairs I contacted Cinch by telephone I had to call the Company five times because each time I got through and got connected , for some reason the phone disconnected and this happened multiple times which caused me some worry.

I managed to get through to a nice gentleman that was very helpful and received confirmation of what we had agreed within seconds of the call ending . So hopefully this will be resolved .

The car is great , it looks and drives very well so apart from this minor issue I am happy. The vehicle was delivered on time and had obviously been washed and valeted although it had not been properly dried and there were water marks all over the bumper and bonnet and door handles .

But again this is just feedback for the company to deliver the very best customer service as opposed to just good customer service . Even with this minor criticism about the customer service , I am reasonably happy with the overall customer experience .

The 14 day return guarantee is a huge benefit because you get to live with the car, drive it at night , first thing in the morning , through rush hour stop start traffic and faster speed motorways . You are able to test drive the car in real conditions as opposed to the 10 or 15 minute test drive you get at a dealership .

In summary , you can buy with a degree of confidence from Cinch and it’s just the after sales service that lets it down . So for after sales I can only give Cinch a 6 out of 10
