Avoid this seller!

This seller pocketed more than £400 and sent me absolutely nothing by way of goods or even an acknowledgement of my order. They ignored all my attempts to communicate with them.

I have asked PayPal to refund the payment.

There is a very good chance if you use this company it will be one of the most frustrating, head banging against a brick wall, experiences you will ever encounter!! Customer service is appalling. And bare in mind, if you need to return a faulty item, it's all the way back to Hong Kong!

Nikon d750

Have used them in the past and price made up for poor service and longer than advertised wait. It seems to take them a week to change status of your order.
My last order for a Nikon d750 ias been a total waste of my time they took my money and a week later said they have no stock yet their site said the Nikon d750 is in stock.
I will not use eglobal central again as I can do with out the stress of dealing with such poor companies.

eglobal-c (Ebay)

I had read the reviews from a number of sites on this company and many were negative, but I decided to give them a try as I was backed up by Ebay, Paypal and a credit card, if the item failed to arrive. I thought that the savings to be made were worth the chance. I ordered an Olympus pro lens that was at least 40 % cheaper than any other internet supplier I had found and cheaper than used items on Ebay. The order was placed on Ebay on the 08/12/16, I received a confirmation e mail the next day, with an estimated delivery date of December 18th - 20th 2016, along with a tracking number. I admit that I was a little concerned when the tracking information remained on "order received" continually. Then at 08:10 on the 13/12/16 I received a text saying that the package would be delivered by DPD between 10:30and 11:30 today, and sure enough, at 10:35 the courier delivered my new lens, in original sealed packaging. Brilliant!!!

Faulty goods they then 'lose' when returned even though recorded delivery proves they receive it.

STAY WELL CLEAR. I WILL UPDATE WHEN THEY GET BACK TO ME - AFTER A YEAR. Four years later...still no outcome.

Here is the conversation for you to review. It is appalling. This was a phone for my daughter.

December 2015 It was faulty. we communicate about how to fix it and they ask for it to be sent back in January.

11 February 2016, 10:53am received at their office and signed for via recorded by a name McFarland

March 2nd. They said they had no-one with that name at their office and the post man has sent to wrong address! They then say I need to claim against the courier. I explain it isnt the courier, its the post office. They say that they dont have it even though we have proof of it being delivered at the address. They keep repeating this over 15 messages until ...

July 15th 2016 " we will escalate to management and it will take a bit of time for review the case" (at the time of writing the management have been reviewing it for 5 months and the case has been opened for a year

Sept 2016:Lots of messages back and forth where they say they are chasing the courier. They repeat this lots but of course there is no courier - liars.

1/11/2016 after a further 20 messages..."sorry be informed there is still no update on your case"
I have asked six times who IMX are and they wont respond to that question

13th December 2016 Still no response since 1/11/2016 and a total of 61 messages have exchanged with none dealing with the case and of course five whole months since they "ESCALATED IT TO MANAGEMENT"

STAY WELL CLEAR. I WILL UPDATE WHEN THEY GET BACK TO ME

BORDERING FRAUDULENT . AVOID DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY

I ordered a very expensive item from this trader for £2500 and paid.
The item was stated as being IN STOCK. 5 days later and I cannot get any communication from them.
Today I sent an email with a quote from their FAQ as shown below.

Q: How long does it take to deliver?
A: With most products listed on the website in stock, we will try our best to dispatch the order within 24 working hours. Then it takes normally within 6 to 8 working days to deliver your order with the Free Shipping Service and for some remote areas it takes usually 2 to 3 extra working days. If you prefer, there are options to purchase our premium shipping services. Please refer to our Shipping and Insurance page for more details. However, under unforeseen circumstances, delivery time can differ depending on the payment method and contact details provided in the order. To ensure the fastest possible delivery time it is important that correct and accurate contact information is provided when placing your order or when creating your user account.

This morning it was still showing IN STOCK but now some time later they did not answer my email but changed the item to OUT OF STOCK.

I am not convinced that I will ever see either the product or my money back

Thanks for responding to my review and stating that customer services did indeed receive my request, in good time, to cancel my order. Can you then explain to me why I have received an email from yourselves today telling me the order has been dispatched and now I can't actually cancel it, but you will give me a £10 refund if I keep the goods!!!!!

Stay Well Clear - Scam Company selling broken goods

Bought a phone in August for £175. It did not work and had to send it back using their crap customer help system. They could not find a fault and charged me £25 to get it sent back to me.
The phone sill didnt work so they arranged for TNT to pick it back up for "repair". They still couldn't find a fault. Now they want £35 to send it back and £50 for the TNT pick up.
If I could give them zero stars I would.

Scammers - zero stars would be too good

Bought a phone for my son and it did not work. Sent it back, they could not find the very obvious fault. Had to pay £25 to get it sent back. Phone still faulty - they suggested I video the problem which I did and they arranged to return the phone again. Second time around their technician still could not find a fault, even with the video and now want another £25 to get it sent back and another £50 for picking it up a second time. Unbelievable.

And dont believe their follow up reply they post against complaints. You will just waste another 3 months of your life. RMA case 90038894

***BE AWARE*** FAULTY PHONE RETURNED 5 MONTHS & STILL NOT RETURNED..

THIS SHAMBLES OF A COMPANY DOESN'T EVEN DESERVE 1 STAR. DO NOT BUY FROM THE GREY MARKET AS IT IS JUST NOT WORTH IT WHEN SOMETHING GOES WRONG AS IT DID WITH ME.

LG G4 BOUGHT & DEVELOPED INFINATE BOOT LOOP FAULT WITHIN WARRANTY , RETURNED TO EGLOBAL NEARLY 5 MONTHS AGO & HAVE CONTINUED TO BE FOBBED OFF SINCE TRYING TO BROW BEAT ME WITH AN OFFER OF 200 CREDIT YES CREDIT WHEN I PAID OVER 400 FOR THE PHONE. CONTACTED LG IN HK & THEY SAID PHONE WAS NOT RETURNED TO LG SO POISES QUESTION WHY WOULD THEY NOT RETURN A PHONE TO THE MANUFACTURER WHEN IT IS STILL UNDER THEIR WARRANTY? MAKES NO SENSE. 22 MESSAGES ASKING FOR UPDATE & FLIPPANT REPLY 'ACCEPT CREDIT' ME 'NO' THEN THEY SAY WILL UPDATE WHEN REPAIRED.

WISH I HAD SEEN REVIEWS LIKE THIS BEFORE I WENT ANYWHERE NEAR THIS BUNCH OF CROOKS.

Post purchase customer service APPALING

bought an LG handset from this retailer a year ago. Unfortunately, it broke down just before the warranty expired this year. I contacted the LG who said the described fault looks like something many other customers are reporting and told me I should send it off to the retailer for repair who obviously has an obligation to me as a consumer. The contract is between us, not the manufacturer.

I started the process on RMA system as recommended by the support. This is the copy of the response I got from the CS rep I was assigned (speaks bad English and is now rude):
"Hi there,
Please try to contact your local LG again and ask for the inspection report to see how much of the repair fee and get back to us. Please ask them if they would be able to repairing the device for you.

Due to shortage of LG G4 parts, we would be unable to confirm to repair time for it, therefore it would saves you the time on repair if Local LG would do repair for you.

If there are functional issue and no damage found, We will ask for a approve from our management to see if we could cover the repair fee or not for repair locally.

(Please do not accept repair with fee before our confirmation)

We look forward for your reply."

They do not even have a list of approved LG repair shops at hand to offer, they want me to find out for myself! Needless, to say I am upset, and I replied to them I could not be expected to do their job for them, I already paid them nearly £400 for a handset.

I got a reply to send the handset to the centre. I did. Last week. And I have heard nothing back. So, I write again, telling them, the tracking info tells me the handset was delivered and signed for by someone called Grey at the centre. What is the progress, please, I ask. I get a rather rude response: "We would get you updated once we have received your item at our inspection centre." Thank you very much.
What does it even mean? Did they get it or not? And is that the way to speak to paying clients? I know they got it. So, I know he does not even are enough to check. I am fed up.

So, I summarized my grief and sent it off to support@eglobalcentral hoping for the best, because I have no faith in Dominic, my RMA case rep. I have not faith in this company. I have to pray I will get my handset fixed or replaced or refunded, but the fault should hopefully get fixed, just re-set to factory setting or something along those lines based on LG definition...

However, I am writing this review here so that people will think twice about choosing this site over more honest and transparent UK based companies selling mobiles. Even though, they may be more expensive.

It is all well and good to buy cheaper goods on the net, until things go south that is. So, here is to hoping the management will see this and deal with it in an efficient manner.

very poor service

I purchased some Shure SE535 earphones from eGlobal. These were about £50 cheaper than elsewhere, But I highly recommend you avoid this company. On arrival I immediately noticed a distortion in the right earphone. Their form of communication with customer service is very poor, You use tickets and they take 24-72 hrs to respond, and often real with useless reply's like. "is it plugged in correctly" wasting another 24-72hrs.

Warranties are not valid with manufacturers as they are not authorised distributers.

I arranged an exchange by other means. AVOID this company. I will no longer use them.

Avoid...Invalidated Manufacturer's Warranty

Purchased Westone UM Pro30s IEMs...Great price. Was a little worried it was too good to be true. Unfortunately it turned out I was right. Developed a fault with left earphone failing less than 18 months later, but within Westone's 2 year manufacturer Warranty. eGlobal declined to help with issue, as it was outside their own 1 year guarantee. However, on contacting Westone direct it transpires eGlobal Central aren't even an authorised retailer, which invalidates Westone's warranty completely. Even when asked to quote for repair, through their RMA process, eGlobal replied that they couldn't help with that either. I've learned my lesson -don't be tempted by the price and pay more for some proper consumer protection.

bad service when returning item

I purchased a fitbit in April and the glue on the band started to come away. I contacted them and they advised I would have to send it back at my own expense which I did. They then advised me that this was my fault and it would cost me 43 pounds to repair and 25 pounds to send it back to me. I read the fitbit forums and it seemed that this was a known problem with the fitbit hr charge. I contacted fitbit directly for advice and they were amazing. They asked me for the name of the company who supplied the device and have now sent me another fitbit free of charge. I would say if you are going to buy a fitbit use fitbit.com as their customer service is really good

All went as advertised

I bought a digital camera, with many misgivings, from this company. I had not wanted to use them because of all the negative reviews and had ordered one from a UK supplier, but after having ordered and paid they said they had a problem and the item they had in stock was 'an empty box', and did not have another.

In general I do not support grey imports, it weakens legitimate support channels. However at this point, having difficulty finding any other UK source for the camera (the model was recently discontinued but I needed specifically to go in an existing underwater housing) I felt I had no option than to place an order with an overseas supplier and hold my breath. Moments after ordering from eglobal, the UK company emailed to say they had found and dispatched one.

So two were on the way, I would have to return one under the 30 day returns agreements.

Everything as stated on the eglobal website happened as written. You get an email to confirm order and a little later it appears on tracking. in my opinion the tracking is started once the item gets to the UK, you do not get international tracking, hence the delay before you get the info.

Having got the tracking info, it turned up exactly when it should have. The one from the UK supplier arrived next day.

I have decided to keep the eglobal one - the price difference is quite large and I am gambling on not needing warranty support.

The item was the one I wanted, and seems perfect. The only thing to note is that the serial no label on the box was removed and replaced with a handwritten label giving a number that I see corresponds to the serial no on the camera itself.

The bad reviews centre on communication and service difficulties, and I had no need to contact the company because the purchase went without any need to.

I am of course hoping that the camera needs no warranty intervention because the manufacturer for sure will not support it. Unlike some others of the HK-based websites however, eglobal advertises a UK-based warranty support. I hope I do not need to try it out, but if I do I will review accordingly.

So for the purchase I give 4 stars, not five because it is a little lengthy and you are taking quite a gamble that things go as smoothly as they did for me, but in light of the negative reviews I thought I should balance with my experience.
