The Eon Solar team did an excellent job supporting my solar installation.
A few wrinkles on the installation day were swiftly ironed out and I am very happy with my set up! Sunny days now make me happy for 2 reasons, as the sunshine now generates me free energy for my Electric Vehicle.

Excellent installation last September. All working fine.

Highly recommend E.ON, very slick and professional.The actual fitting was done in a 3 day turn around,with great communication from the outset.

Further to my original review i have had an update. A correction to the MCS certificate has been made and my account with my energy supplier can now proceed.

Exceptional customer service, including post installation.

All seems to be OK. Just a couple of niggles. 1. When taking a meter reading I need to lay on the floor [no ideal] - the design of the meter location and operation is poor.
2. Some minor damage in the hallway was only noticed after the installers got me to sign a document to say there was no damage, when there clearly is. I guess the damage will never be addressed now?

The technology is great and price was reasonable, but not cheapest. Everyone I talked to was very friendly.
Service is let down by poor communication across subcontractors. I had a particular issue with scaffolding next to a neighbouring property. I made EOn aware from the first visit and at every point thereafter. And still the scaffolders turned up expecting to put poles onto my neighbour's property. Would recommend but if you have any property specific concerns get everything in writing before any works start on site.

Up and running, after a false start, the Solis inverter did not work (out of the box) and although the system was completed it was not operational. My only complaint was that there was no contact or information from E.ON and it wasn't till the 3rd email a reply was received. 8 working days later the new inverter was delivered and fitted and the system is now up and running. Other than the period after the inverter issue communication was good and all the staff of E.ON and the install team and even the scaffolders have all been professional and polite. Overall a good job.

Brilliant service from start to finish really happy with my solar install ... everyone has been great.

Definitely recommend the E.ON solar team. They know what they are doing, keep in touch and deliver on time. They also worked with us on difficult time scale and work planning. Price is also very competitive.

Little disappointed with the amount of free electricity over the winter months considering we have had some very sunny days but will see at end of year when I can compare with last year, before fitting and the amount of return from F.I.T, at present I don't feel I am saving much month on month.

We had Eon solar visit our house with a view to installing solar panels after enquiring about them on their website. The representative from Eon was professional, helpful and informative and there was no pressure to buy. We went ahead with a solar edge system which was installed without fuss or mess. The solar edge app allows you to see how your panels are performing through the day, which is interesting to see and can you plan when to put dishwashers /washing machines on etc. For us, it's been a worthwhile venture, it's eased our conscience as we're doing a bit for the environment whilst saving money.

All went well until day of installation. Small footprint scaffold installed a day before install team arrived.

Install team were unable to complete the connection of panels to battery set. Email and telephone contacts back to Eon resulted in "no action to date" tomorrow marks the second complete week of inactivity.

I am happy to revisit this review once job is complete, but the bad taste left by our current inactivity.

Had solar panels installed and overall the service was very good with only a couple of minor areas where things could be improved. The initial survey and explanation of possible options, costings and potential returns, was comprehensive and the surveyor very knowledgeable. The engineering survey after order placement was also efficiently carried out however there was then a bit of a vacuum as far as been kept informed of progress and potential installation dates and it required me to contact EON to get update. We were given an installation date (which was 9 weeks after engineering survey) for which we weren't available, but the operative was able to quickly and efficient rearrange. As the work was to take place on Monday the scaffolding was put up on Friday but we weren't given a time for this and we got home after lunch to find it was just about completed. When the installation team arrived on Monday they found that the scaffolding had not been put up how they needed it so the scaffolders had to return to do pretty much a complete rebuild consequently several hour delay on commencement of the actual installation. The installation team were excellent in keeping me informed and also in explaining what they were doing and showing how system worked. On completion I was told that scaffolding would come down with in 48hrs. A week later I actually contacted the scaffolding company directly to have it removed.

The sales person was very helpful professional. The installation administrator was excellent.
The only comment I wish to pass was the installation engineer was extremely pushed for time to complete in the time allowed for installing the system.
I had to ask them to return as the work was left in a poor condition due to lack of time.
The days are short in December so they had to rush fitting the installation as they battled against the day light.

The 3rd party installers were overly rapid. The scaffolding arrived late. The instruction on the system at hand over was brief. They had to return to fix the internet connection which was not set up correctly, Also several of the panel link units were not properly attached and had to be re-fitted. The electrical installation was well done and so far has worked fine. The Solaredge web portal is very informative.
