I’ve been with onebox for 20+ years, used to work flawlessly for most of those years, then they started charging for email ( I know, who pays for a email address….) really wanted to keep the address so I paid up. Now they force password changes with no notification, just stops working, no problem you would think but no. I changed the password and my email app on laptop, tablet and phone time out, can get into webmail which is really cumbersome. Opened ticket, tier 1 couldn’t resolve, they escalated to tier 2 but hey didn’t know when that tier/person would be in…. 48 hours now no resolution. This not the first, second or third time this has happened…..So I am starting to migrate all my accounts to iCloud, a tedious process…and I think what if my dial tone was down for 48 hours? Do you really want to take that chance?
The team responded to my concern in a timely manner and resolved it immediately. The customer service is amazing.
I really wanted this service to work, but unfortunately it created more headaches than solutions for my business. The biggest issue is that I can’t reliably make or receive calls, which defeats the purpose of paying for a business phone service.
Customer support was polite when I was able to reach them, but my issue was never fully resolved. As a small business owner, I need a phone system I can depend on, and that hasn’t been my experience.
I hope eVoice improves its reliability because the concept is good. Until then, I can’t recommend it based on my experience.

This company is not a reliable source , please do not trust this business to provide your phone number for your business as they will abruptly disconnect your phone line , leave you with No notification of when the bill is due but will disconnect your line to intentionally add more fees and place your account into Collections status all in the same day .
Here is a notice I received , I had no clue the due date I was left searching for a payment notification that was never sent .
Date: 6/7/2026 Due to an outstanding balance, your eVoice® account has been terminated and submitted for collections review.

They deserve a 15 out of 10. When I say the sign up process is easy.Getting a number is easy. Getting direct contact with custom service is excellent. Getting your questions answered and getting the help that you need, phenomenal. Also, getting help to set up your phone system.If you're not used to it, they hit the nail on the head.
Out of all the big label names out there, sometimes simplicity will get you exactly what you need without all the hassle. And I really, I feel like a professional company now. I call my own number throughout the day. Just to hear how nicely the automated voice sound and the number options.
