Cancelled Pre-booked cab to Airport
Pre-booked a cab to Stansted airport, apps shows the trip is confirmed etc. 2 minutes before the planned trip it says “no driver found”. As I was making a trip very early in the morning, that was exactly the reason I booked a cab in advance.. never again
I book a taxi in upper street in…
I book a taxi in upper street in London, the app was telling me go the bus stop g a wait. But after 15 min when the app was telling me your driver is here I called him and was not there. He said cross the road and I’ll be there in a minute. I crossed the road, I’ve been waiting for my taxi for 5 minutes, and after that because the driver was not there I called him again but he refuse my call. Then I went to the app and he cancelled my booking.
Conclusion I airrived at home 90 min later than my original booking, so for more offers they give you, in the end I arrive at home with public transport less money and less than half time. Also the offers that the app sent you you are fake. If you Try to book a car with an offer price, trust me you will be fast with public transport, or just check another options like bolt or Uber . When you get an offer of 30% please compre prices, because free now offers are fake they increase the price and then give you the offer. Just compare with other companies and you will realise that is not an offer they are cheating you.
Scam
It's a joke. I've been waiting 15 minutes and the arrival time just this same. When I cancelled, they charge me £6.

Prebooked to Victoria station didn’t…
Prebooked to Victoria station didn’t turn up. Tried to book on app for another ride at this point but no drivers. After several tried the fare doubled and surprise surprise there was a driver ready to pick me up in 2mins! I never got this with Uber or Bolt so won’t be using again. Don’t recommend.
Two days in Dublin
Two days in Dublin, downloaded the app. No drivers available any time i tried, hailed a taxi or walked!. Time for Uber to move in?
Shameful!!!!!
Shameful service, even worse so called Customer relations.Freenow, you should be ashamed of yourselves. As many reviews have commented, you're offered a voucher.???I was let down by 2 drivers, which I booked in plenty of time to arrive at a Train station to travel outside of London. I never got to the station, and, lost the money I paid for the tickets.Customer services didn't care at all, just quoted the T & Cs.Seriously,I know we're all feeling the financial pinch atm,but go elsewhere, it costs more in the long run when your dealing with unscrupulous individuals like Freenow.
please don't use, zero trust
Travelling from central London to Heathrow with FreeNow, pre-booked on their app at a fixed price, when arriving at Heathrow airport the taxi driver cancelled the job on his system and demanded I pay the meter price. This was twice the cost quoted from FreeNow and far more expensive than companies such as Addison Lee.
I complained to FreeNow (they offered a £7 voucher off my next ride - never using them again). I have also reported both FreeNow and the taxi driver (yes I took his number) to TFL.
There is zero stopping this happening to any passenger. Any driver could do this to you and there is nothing that FreeNow is doing to protect their customers and the contracts they have with their customers.
I will never use FreeNow again and wish I could give then a zero rating.
I booked a trip from Gatwick to…
I booked a trip from Gatwick to Twickenham I had signed up with my Turkey number and when I was waiting car I didn’t know where to wait and when I clicked the contact the driver nothing happened even an error message didn’t show up. so the driver couldn’t be be able to find me either probably he couldn’t reach out to me as well and driver cancelled my booking and I ve charged with cancellation fee which is not my fault. and I have lost my £10 voucher code too.
This was not a good experience at all. They need to fix their application and maybe they shouldn’t allow customers to sign up with different country phone number.
Crap service
Crap service, to be honest pre book never arrived do not expect any help when it does not come, no help whatsoever
Charged 25 for a 16 GBP ride!
First time (and last!) I used FREENOW. The app showed the ride would cost between 13 and 16 pounds. The moment I confirmed the ride I was charged 25 pounds!! The actual cost was 16 GBP and they send an invoice of 20 GBP and...charged me 25 pounds!! What an appalling service! What a bad experience!! FREENOW never again!
Pre-booking service has never worked
Pre-booking service has never worked. Never turn up. I would not trust them for a pre-booked pickup, especially for important trips.
Have used Freenow
Have used Freenow, it is Ok for getting a ride from the airport in Nice, but prebooking a pick-up from somewhere else? The Freenow ride did not turn up, despite the ride booked days in advance was confirmed, instead five minutes after the pick-up time, app came up.. No drivers available. So there we stood with luggage, two small children and a plane to catch, and no ride.
Avoid Freenow!!
Drivers keep on canceling!
Drivers are taking advantage of the policy. They keep on canceling rides and that will make FreeNow worst than a bus service!
Change your policies, or you will start disappearing from different markets slowly.
Zero customer support !!! Appalling charges & policy breach
Although I pre booked the cab one day before, on the day of trip the allocated driver (showed 11 minutes away) would have arrived later than the promised time slot. I cancelled within 1 min, yet got charged with cancellation fee of £6 !!! Horrendous. I immediately looked for another and guess what a driver (away 4 min) was available. At the time of booking the app showed £6.90 trip fare, however they charged me £9.20 although there was no traffic, no diversion, no waiting!!!! There is hardly anyway to contact their customer service swiftly and raise a concern or complaint which makes it worst.
DRIVERS AVOID - UNPAID BONUSES
DRIVERS AVOID! SCAM BONUSES!
Freenow will make up bonus rules on the spot will tell you that it is upto them if they want to pay you or not. Don't bother trying to get the bonuses, because they will not pay it to you and days you don't complete the bonus requirements they will actually DEDUCT it from your earned bonuses!
AVOID!!!!!!
Cancelled even though I booked in advance
I thought this might be a one off bad review but it seems to be standard practice to cancel bookings. What is the point of allowing people to book in advance if you then cancel them? I booked 1.5 hours early for 7.15 it was accepted then I checked at 7.15 to see it it was nearest NO it was cancelled. What is the point,? I went on Uber it said a driver was 7 mins away and he arrived. Give up FreeNow you don't have a chance. Forget the 50% off voucher they only work if the taxi turns up.
I expect a full refund for the…
I expect a full refund for the cancellation fee !! I’m sooooo angry !! Having been cancelled twice by your drivers, I had no choice but to walk home !! This will be on your trust pilot reviews !! Charged £6 cancellation fee after being left stranded !! Then hounded by another driver 10 minutes later denying my job was cancelled !! BOCs !!! Cowboys !! Never use you again !!
FREE NOW - never again!
It's unbelievable the lack of orientation for the clients needs of this so called company!
I rented an electric car in Madrid, with 44% battery.
I thought it could easily do 50Km without any problems. After about 25 Km the battery level droped to 10%.
I contacted the services asking where should I charge the car since there weren't any charging cables avaiable!
I was instructed to leave the vehicle in that location and now they wanna make me pay a fine of 100 euros for leaving the vehicle in the location they instructed me to leave the car!
FREE NOW - never again!
Unreliable. Zero accountability.
I pre-booked a ride to the airport. By their own admission, Freenow failed to allocate a car, leaving me high and dry. As it was rush hour, I was unable to book a last-minute ride in anything other than a black cab - which I ordered through Freenow thinking, well, at least they can verify firsthand what I had to do to rectify their error and compensate me based on that. The black cab cost an extra £75 above the cost of my pre-booked car. When I write to complain, they offered only s £10 credit on a future ride as a “gesture of goodwill”.
“Goodwill”? That means they accept no responsibility even though they did admit it was their failure to allocate a car.
£10? I incurred £75 extra cost because of their error. And that was £75 they pocketed, as I ordered the black cab through them.
Unreliable. Zero accountability. Stay away.
