Like the other reviewers I too was deceived into believing this was a legitimate London based company selling pretty linen blouses . After waiting three weeks I received a cheap shiny pink polyester badly stitched garment with a made in China label

Total scam . Have emailed requesting a refund but not holding out much hope
Sickening that these scammers can get away with it

At first glance, Halden & Wolfe London seems like a charming British brand—their website boasts of "bringing the laid-back charm of Britain’s coast to your wardrobe," inspired by Cornwall’s cliffs, Bournemouth’s golden sands, and Brighton Pier’s timeless breeze. Sadly, the reality couldn’t be further from this idyllic image.

Here’s where things go wrong:
✔ Weeks-long delivery – Despite promises of fast shipping, my order took an unreasonable amount of time to arrive.
✔ Fake "London" branding – After digging deeper, I discovered they’re not a UK company at all but operate from China, despite their British-themed marketing.
✔ Item not as described – I ordered a light blue-grey striped linen mens shirt, but what arrived was a cheap, bright blue cotton shirt that looked nothing like the photos.
✔ No real customer service – Their advertised "24/7 support" is nonexistent. Multiple emails went unanswered.
✔ China return address – When I finally heard back from them, they expected me to ship it back to China, despite promoting themselves as a London-based business.

This is misleading at best, possibly fraudulent at worst. I’ve informed them they’re likely breaking UK consumer laws by misrepresenting their location and refusing a reasonable return process. Unsurprisingly, no response.

I’m now forced to file a chargeback via Amex for "item not as described" and false business representation. Buyer beware—read the reviews before falling for their marketing. I wish I had.

Oh no! I wish I had read the reviews before placing my order. Linen shirts???? Not a thread of linen in them.
Cheap fabric and shoddy sewing. I have requested a refund, but not holding my breath. “If it’s too good to be true……” springs to mind

FAKE Chinese website. Awful quality nothing like advertised. Cloned company and you can't reach as the order number does not work on the website!!!!! AVOID AVOID AVOID

Terrible. I ordered two linen blouses and three weeks later received cheap polyester copies made in China. They use a posh name and say they are based in London. Avoid. SCAM

AVOID at all cost! Absolute waste of money! After waiting for 3 weeks for my delivery, I can also confirmed that the products are cheap and awful. It described the shoes as top quality leather but they are pure PVC. Looks cheap and awful and oversized. I would have never looked at these in a shop! They also arrived in a jiffy bad, no box, all creased. Not a UK based company. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!

SCAM....I feel pretty stupid but it looked legitimate. What looked like a pretty linen shirt on the website arrived as a polyester clown costume (in the words of my daughter!!)
I have emailed to request a return but oddly enough, I haven't had a response.
It makes me so angry that organisations like this are openly allowed to take our money and run with seemingly no consequences.

I had ordered two shirts and it’s been more than 3 weeks haven’t yet received them by Royal Mail. They have replied that we are looking into it but nothing much has moved forward. Lost my £55.49!! How can they be not held accountable for misleading and not refunding my money?

There should be a “ Zero” facility! Utter garbage, £67.00 wasted … email address probably one of many tons warehouse full of scammers & slave labour. Could post them to the “ Unit” named on the return label but why bother lesson learned & into the Charity bin they go where they will fit someone, if teeny tiny teeny tiny Chinese or like proportions! 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Outrageous. Advertised on Instagram and website showed pretty linen blouse 'on sale'. Waited two weeks and when finally delivered it was horrible, cheap shiny 100% polyester, made in China! I complained. Received answer today giving a 'returns' address in China, they don't pay for returns, send tracked by FedEx. Offered a refund of 10% (seriously) if I decided I didn't want to return it. You really couldn't make it up. I will be taking it to the charity shop but doubt anyone will want it. DO NOT TOUCH WITH BARGEPOLE!!

The shirt I bought was advertised as ‘crafted from high quality cotton’ - nonsense! The label on the shirt I received has the label ‘100% Polyester.’

Took ages to arrive. What’s advertised as a linen blouse is polyester, it’s cheaply made and unwearable. They charged £30 and it’s probably worth five. Now I’ve got to try and get money back

Took payment and didn’t send item. Obviously a scam/theft.

We all seem to have been ripped off by this company. I haven’t even had a delivery. Do not order from them - STAY WELL CLEAR

Blouse advertised as linen-it’s horrid polyester! Shabby, very poor quality I would not even wear in the house. Looks like a pyjama top.
Currently my credit card is raising a dispute with them to get my money back .

Would give less stars if I could , the Linen blouse ordered has absolutely no linen content , feels synthetic, is a terrible pink , not red as described , has sewing faults and uneven seams , absolutely dreadful .

Please have a no star choice. What a lot of utter rubbish. Your linen shirt will be polyester. I kind of knew I was making a mistake but liked the shape.DO NOT buy from this lying cheating company.
