I ordered a bike for my granddaughter yesterday before I read the reviews. I must admit that I thought I had made a huge mistake! I was so wrong! Bike delivered this afternoon by a very courteous delivery man and I have stopped panicking. Thank you so much for your great service!

Order my son the lightening McQueen electric car on 12th July 2023, as it’s out of stock else where and £25 cheaper than Amazon.
The following day, something didn’t sit right with me, so I decided to trust pilot’s the website… to find 1* reviews, comments like scam site, don’t order. Panic struck. I attempted to contact the company with no joy. I genuinely thought I was going to be £200 out of pocket.
I later received a text message saying my item had been dispatched with UPS (14th July) and was due to be delivered 17th. True to their word, item arrived via UPs, legit. Apart from the inability of getting hold of the company I cannot complain. [Hence the 4*]

Bank took the money back that I disputed because they sent over a confirmation email!!

Justaddplay is one of the websites of a scam company Box Retail Group Limited, registered at a shared office location - their phoneline is a recorded message.
We lost money on our daughter's birthday present. Box Retail Group Limited seem to operate as Rattan World, Garden World Online as well and I assume many others.
I've reported them to Action Fraud / National Fraud Intelligence Bureau, the owners of their registered building and of course our bank.
Hopefully it will catch up with them.

Well…. I feel stupid not reading reviews first.
Desperately needed a bed that was out of stock literally everywhere and found one on this site! Paid and heard nothing for 5 days! Then get an email asking me for £65 extra shipping costs! I said forget it please refund the money!
Now nothing no replies! And the phone number doesn’t even connect?

I’m devastated. Ordered a £460 ride on for my children for Christmas, nothing arrived with in the stated 5 days and heard nothing from them so I tried to cancel the order by emailing them - still no reply. The item then randomly turned up a few weeks later but was completely broken, clearly a previous return. I have heard nothing from Just Add Play despite dozens of emails and phone calls. So 3 months on, I’m £460 out of pocket with a completely smashed and unusable toy. I just wish I had seen these reviews before buying, please don’t do it!

Disgusting company. I've order furniture for my sons bedroom. Have been waiting a month with no results. Then tried to call 1000 times on this fake number send tons of email without responding. Just a freaky scummest. I wish I had read all reviews before I ordered anything

Nightmare company!!! Ordered a ride on tractor (over £400…) as they said 5 day delivery… nothing turned up. They said they were on it and just bought more and more time. So we cancelled order and bought the item locally. They then delivered the item!!! We then had to pay the over £100 delivery cost to return it. They still haven’t refunded despite promising…. We’ve now had to get HSBC involved under a S75 claim… stay well clear.

Awful! Ordered a tractor in September 2022 for my son's birthday. The item did not arrive 10 days later. The company couldn't tell me when they could dispatch the item when I called to find out the whereabouts of the item. I cancelled the order and received confirmation of this. However did not receive a refund. The company does not respond to any contact messages and it's nearly impossible to speak on the phone. Finally got my refund after my credit card retrieved the money 4 months later.

Terrible! Ordered an Xmas present for my Son in early December. Had a voicemail left mid Dec to say it was on its way, the gift never materialised and I am £80 out of pocket. Cant get in touch with anyone RE refund.

This is a scam, what they do is open a company trade ok for a few months and then they take the money and don't fulfil the orders (there a many doing this now so be careful, always read the reviews, and pay with a credit card). Then they close the company and go an open a new one. The director of this company has 2 other companies like this, and from the reviews I have read they are doing the same through the other companies. I reported this to Action Fraud and also to my Bank. Not sure how this website hasn't been taken down already.

I’ve been waiting for a refund since 28th November from an order that I cancelled because it wasn’t dispatched within the time stated on their website. I’ve sent numerous emails and had a couple of replies saying they would pass my message onto their accounts department?? Oddly I had a message from them on 29th December apologising for my order not being delivered by Xmas and they were working hard to get my order to me as soon as possible?!? I emailed back saying I had requested a refund back in November and that as it was now 32 days since I’d requested it I would expect the money to be back into my account very soon. I have had no response from them and surprise surprise no refund it is now 6th January. I’ve now had to go through my bank to get my money back. I really hope they don’t get away with taking people’s money for much longer it’s disgusting that they seem to have been getting away with it for a while!

SCAM Company - AWFUL - Setting up FB group

This company and its associates - Justaddbaby, Just addgarden are all part of BOX Retail and all scamming customers out of money. I have reported these to trading standard and will be setting up a FB group to help spread the word unless they refund my purchase immediately. Rachel Irving is apparently the director who should hang her head in shame. dont be fooled by the guy who answers the phone (or doesnt or the website) -

Ordered a dolls house on the 9 th December, 3-5 working days for delivery. 20th drop them an email asking if it will arrive before Xmas. Got a response saying yes. I asked if there was any doubt then please let me know as it's my daughter's main Xmas present. No response, no response since. It's now the 23rd. I asked for a refund, no response. Will be doing some research as I think I have found the owner and will be sharing any details I can find here so everyone else can attempt to get there money back. I am normally the first to look at reviews but for some reason didn't this time. Have to take full responsibility for not spotting a total con artist.

There is no shop, no toys and you certainly won't get a refund either
Feel dreadful falling victim to a bunch of fraudsters. Hope Karma gets them at the end.

Ordered a John Deere Ground Force ride on for £359 which never arrived, nor has the refund. Dispute raised with my issuer.

2 weeks after my order I contacted Justaddplay for an update, the guy on the end of the phone was apologetic and said he would look into it. A week went by with no update so I sent and email and followed up with a call. The same guy told me they use various warehouses so he needs to email them for an update. Long story short this nonsense carried on for another week before I requested a refund. No such refund has been received.

It's always the same guy on the phone, he pretends to have a customer service team and an accounts team but really its just him, the conartist.

The prices are good and the website looks legitimate so stupidly I didn't check reviews, which all state the same. What's also interesting is this company has no social media, clearly, to prevent people from leaving more reviews.

I'll be contacting trading standards and media outlets about this company also.
