I also fell victim to their scam. Never read the reviews until after I had ordered. Could kick myself as I normally check! Contacted them via live chat and email, received a reply apologising for the delay and that I would have it by the weekend, surprise surprise, the weekend comes and still no item. It’s disgusting how they can continue to operate, taking money under false pretences. With money been tight at the minute, I’m gonna struggle now replacing this elsewhere and will need to contact my bank to try and get the money back. PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR ITEM.

Website is a scam. Products not dispatched. The ‘customer services’ email is responsive and strings you along. “Yes it is in stock” “Sorry for the delay, being dispatched soon” etc but the product is never sent. Scam website and have reported to my credit card company.

I wouldn’t normally bad mouth companies but sadly every bad review about this company is accurate. Absolute shambles!

We ordered a ride on from Just Add Play, and no word of delivery for 1 week, 2 weeks etc you get the picture, tried to contact someone to find out what’s going on, weird opening times for their call centre, mis-information is one word, lies is another.
I would never use this website ever again.
Interestingly you can’t even leave or see reviews on their own website, that speaks volumes!
Still waiting for our refund!

Paid for a ride on tractor for my daughter’s birthday 3 weeks before, as the 7 day delivery slot passed it still wasn’t dispatched, emailed them and they said there was a mistake with shipping and will be sent straight away , another week passed and nothing happened, had to buy elsewhere and have asked for a refund but the 7 days on that have passed as well so going to credit card company now. Really wished I had read the other reviews first. How can they take peoples money especially when it’s for kids presents. Obviously don’t have kids of there own

Absolutely diabolical service ,shameful customer service ( states of their website 5*).ordered grandkids sit on tractor 3 WEEKS ago £429.85 , item has not been delivered and NO updates, I have now passed this onto my credit card company to get my refund. How dare they take peoples hard earned money 💰, with no intentions of either getting in touch or helping get the item resolved and delivered .AVOID at all costs , I will also be taking this to trading standards commission and using my media clout to make sure everybody knows about this dreadful company.

Wish I had read these reviews first. Worst company ever. Ordered item on the 8th September that said “In Stock”, 20 days later no item and chased and they will look into it and nothing. Ask for a refund a get sent a form which takes 7 days to get money back. Seems to be just a company taking peoples money to earn interest and hold for a month until people want a refund. Avoid at all costs!!! Ordered elsewhere and it arriving the next day as it should.

AVOID. Ordering from them has been the biggest stress, they only replied to one of my emails, I had no updates on delivery, and well past the time frame given on the website. In their reply I found the order was with ponycycle and JAP is just one of their retailers. so I contacted pony cycle through Facebook, WOW fantastic customer service, they confirmed that Just Add Play is one of their retailers, so they chased them up on my behalf, seems JAP had not handed over any payment to them so PC sent a request for the payment, PC then emailed me with tracking number, they also kept me up to date through Facebook. I would never ever order from JAP ever again, as for Pony Cycle, I would order from them directly or through Amazon, exactly the same price, and export charges are refunded through Amazon and their customer care was excellent. The Pony Cycle finally arrived today, I think I would still be waiting if I had not contacted Ponycycle directly.

Unfortunately I ordered before I checked these reviews. Ordered a ride on train for my nephew’s birthday, still no sign of it 9 working days after the order so it’s too late. Now I’ve had to fill in a refund form and apparently 7 days for a refund. Going to flag to my CC company immediately. Don’t waste your time ordering from this company, clearly not trustworthy.

14 days after placing order it was not delivered. Only shown as awaiting dispatch on my account. Had to fight for a refund, 9 days later still no refund. Complete waste of time and effort. Absolute clowns.

Ordered a tractor for my sons birthday, paid & was awaiting tracking no.
Nothing. Spoke to them via web chat & was assured everything was good to go.
Waited again & nothing.
Customer service does not exist. A lad on the phone laughed when I asked for a refund.
I now have no tractor & no refund. Going through my credit company for a refund.
The company operates under Box Retail Group Ltd. There Company is registered in London under Rachel Irving. I am tracking this person down.

I ordered a Gator, then got worried it wouldn't turn up after seeing the reviews. However, it arrived after 7 working days.

Ordered a gator and trailer over 2 weeks ago, still waiting , no reply to emails or online chat, they don't answer the phone, absolute scum!

Absolute scum of a company I wouldn’t even bother trying to order from them 11 days in now was told it be 3 to 5 days told me it was with dpd phoned them to be told they haven’t received my parcel just a joke of a company how hasn’t this company been shut down yet

Ordered a Gator form the a week ago.. received and email the next day saying it was about to be dispatched then nothing since... not replying to emails, not answering the phone and not responding to online chat... AVOID!!!!!!

Reluctant to give even 1star but it was the only way to leave a review. This company is an absolute disgrace. Still haven’t received my order and no further forward despite several emails. These people should hang their heads in shame as they are constantly and willingly disappointing customers and even worse, poor children. I now plan to take this further via an alternative route. Disgusting ‘service’!!!

I ordered a John Deere gator for my grandson off justaddplay I wasn’t kept up to date on dispatch etc I emailed them and said I no longer required the item because the other grandparents had bought the same thing I advised I wouldn’t accept the item when it was delivered as it was in a huge box.
That was beginning of November after an awful lot of emails I finally had a response saying the item had been returned and my refund would follow in 7 days that was before Christmas I’m still waiting. £440 is a lot of money to me they ruined my Christmas because I couldn’t afford to buy another present.
Company’s like this shouldn’t be allowed to keep your money for this length of time.

I got scared reading reviews on the internet. however, on Monday I ordered a dollhouse and on Friday he was with me. very good email contact ... I got a reply within 30 minutes. so i can recommend this store.

They’re at it again, advertising special offers in the lead up to Christmas, promising you great deals.

The guy called Chris will take your hard earned cash & you’ll then be leaving a review just like all the others.

Please do not be fooled by any of the ‘just add play or baby or happy home toys’

These companies are all fake & i’m currently working with Watchdog who are looking into them.
Do not buy from them.

If I could give 0 stars I would.
Ordered a scooter, told the order was confirmed and I would receive the scooter after 3-5 working days.
Had to chase up on day 8 S had heard nothing since, only to be told that they had a stock issue and my order was cancelled. Why did I have to chase to find that out?!
Will see how getting my refund goes, from other reviews, I am not hopeful. Wish I had read reviews prior to ordering the pricing seems good but not worth it, especially if you're ordering for Christmas.

After 5 days of hearing nothing about the dispatch of my order I had a Google and came across the reviews. My instant thought was that it might be a dodgy site but no, my order is here & seems to be in perfect condition (still to set it up)
If I had seen the reviews first I would have bought elsewhere & let's face it, we're all more inclined to leave a bad review than a good one so I thought I'd share my experience for balance.
I left 4 stars instead of 5 for lack of communication but I'd happily buy from them again.
