Ok so initially I was expecting to have to give negative reviews, but in all honesty? They did ok… despite me getting tetchy and sending emails after reading the bad reviews, they stayed calm, positive, and friendly. It appears they were let down by the courier company
So my parcel arrived a few days late but apart from that
Perfic!!

Scum !!! Lowlifes !! Take people money never receive a thing . Rot you scumbags!!

Ordered a playhouse, never arrived. Chased it up and told it was out of stock and did I want to choose another playhouse which I did. This playhouse never arrived. Sent numerous emails and made numerous phone calls and sent letters requesting my money back. Never received my £479.95 back and a very disappointed little girl. They take your money and don’t give you your item. AVOID

I returned a ride on unicorn in December 2020 to the return address stated on the website. 8 months later I have still not received my £200 refund! I have called numerous times and spoken with Chris, I am always reassured I will receive my refund, I was asked to email my bank details but still haven’t received my money! I have emailed numerous times which are always ignored. I would avoid this company at all costs, I am now going to have to take this further.

DO NOT touch this company,full of lies,never get back to you,withheld a refund now for 8 months,always an excuse as to why they have not paid,who ever runs this company is a thief and stolen £209,how do you get money back from this diabolical company they have had the item back since December!! DONT BUY FROM THEM!!! What is the point of reviews when they just keep trading poorly anyway!!

Have had nothing but positive actions with this company 1st class service purchased an item with a couple of manufacturers issues and they were sorted out so fast incredible service. Just emailed regarding a gearbox problem with a jeep and within a few minutes they contacted the manufacturer and new parts arriving next day excellent.

Purchased a Peg Piego Tractor and trailer set for our daughters 7th Birthday in plenty of time with a promised delivery time of around 5 days.....7 days later no delivery date given or notification of dispatch. Emailed several times with only one response saying that they'd have to check the warehouse.......then I checked the reviews!! Immediately wrote and asked to cancel the order - no response.....emailed to say I had informed my bank to dispute the transaction (£324.95) as no goods received and no response from seller. Also informed that I report had been made to Trading Standards. It was only after another email I sent direct to the Owner of the business that I received a text the next day informing me that DPD were delivering a parcel from Amethyst?? The next day I received a n email from JAP with the same tracking number on! So I immediately replied that the order was cancelled and I would not be accepting the delivery.

All in all a shockingly bad company. Full of lies and excuses. Still waiting for my money back 14 days later

I ordered a trailer for my sons birthday, over a week in advance. The date came and past with no communication despite numerous calls and emails. It took 5 emails and 4 phones calls with the threat of trading standards and bank intervention to get my refund.

The people on the phone always have to speak to someone else to get the answer but never phone or email back.

I’d avoid at all costs.

Plum Toddler Tower Wooden Play Centre - Product is excellent, good quality, nice looking. Build time is extensive but worth the work, 2 people 5 hours, all well marked up and instructions clear.

So why only one star - as a purchasing customer you need to be aware of the chaos and poor comms this Company operates under.

Ordered a playframe set as a birthday gift delivery days 3-4 days, @ 5 working days chased up delivery as not received. Advised there was an IT issue, then when next delivery target date failed advised delays due to transport............ missed the childs birthday.

The order was made up for 4 separate parcels, I received 2 of the same parcels and importantly not the 3rd or 4th without further chasing over several days.

The customer services department appears to be made up of the same one person who claims to be the manager, having not been able to speak to anyone else I cant see its an extensive operation.

After three weeks the full set was received, assembled, looking good. Being satisfied with the product I emailed to confirm and request collection of the items duplicated within 7 days. It took a further email chasing after the 7 days advising they needed to remove the goods, which they did in the first week of May. End of story & a note to self don't use this company again, check related companies ...... sadly not the end!

A delivery man knocked on the door today to collect the items which had been duplicated & collected over a month ago!!

Save yourself time and bother, the product is excellent this supplier is chaotic you can buy elsewhere.

Plum would be well advised to select a supplier who is able to deliver as promised

I wish I read the reviews before I ordered from this company!!! Never had a horrible experience in my life like this. Ordered the dolls house which was in stock since then never heard from the company. No delivery, not even a single phone call regarding my undelivered order which I have of course already paid!! Someone used to answer the calls now he doesn't even answer the calls. I have left many voice mail and sent many emails. I want a full refund now as I don't trust Just Add Play anymore. I'm gonna contact my bank and police wherever possible to make them pay for my pain over four weeks now. So so frustrated and upset... looking into my daughters eyes who's been waiting for
her dolls house to arrive anxiously...

We ordered a dolls house for my granddaughters birthday, the item was listed as in stock at the time of order. My granddaughters birthday has been and gone and after 4 weeks and despite numerous emails and phone call we are still awaiting confirmation as to where the item is. Atrocious service never to be repeated.

Could not fulfil order. I ordered a trampoline that they said was in stock and would be delivered in 3/4 days, it hasn't arrived. I have called and managed to speak to someone - rather odd - they don't answer the phone with the companies name. Was promised a replacement, still not here and now I can't get through on the phone. I'm guessing they don't have the stock they are advertising. Avoid.

This company I have had nothing but issues with, not only originally did they ignore me for an order of £250 for months after the order and I couldn't get hold of them without any confirmation where this was or after cancelling the product no refund was issued. After finally contacting the bank they somehow decided to reply and issue a refund. To now I find out over 6 months later they have tried to charge me for the item again as a "re charge" when I have not purchased anything from them since and just processed this payment without any authorisation on my part.

Discrace! I never write reviews however this company behaviour has been appalling.

Great customer service when the company was faced with numerous issues before Christmas, mainly deliveries stuck at the borders because of Brexit. They pulled out all the stops and still manged to get a delivery to me before the big day. Website/ordering etc was also very easy and an enjoyable experience all round. I would definitely use again

I ordered on Sat 19th. Immediately got a text and email confirming. Then got email to say dispatched today and a text when they delivered it. Haven't opened box yet but no issues with delivery at all. Very relieved and impressed as a Christmas gift. Thank you!

Efficient delivery. We did have a fault with the product however it was sorted very quickly and I can not fault the customer service. They kept me updated throughout the process and went beyond my expectations to assist. Would highly recommend them and will definitely use again in the future.

We ordered a plum climbing wall from this company in summer, it was promised it will arrive in time for my sons bday in September - arrived well after his bday and without any of the hardware needed to build the climbing wall.
Since then I've been messaging them constantly (they won't answer any calls) on their online chat and im either told :1) that the pack is on his way, should have arrived last Friday, is Wed today ;or 2)I am being ignored, or shall I say my messages are.
It's now December, we have a useless pile of wood we paid over 600£ for and a very unhappy child.
I wish it was someone that could help.
Advice : even this company is the only one having your product in stock, please just wait until you can get it from other supplier, I would pay double elsewhere not worth the stress and upset caused by this company.

Update as of today, 6/01/2021: 5 days after I placed my review in December 2020 I was contacted by Just Add Play and I was sent some of the hardware but not everything we need to out the climbing wall together, after making me aware that another company would have charged me delivery for the parts as I notified them of missing parts longer than 24hrs after delivery (no mention that other companies would not have made false promises or ignored messages for months ). It was also suggested I remove my review which I promised I will after we receive all the hardware needed and once my sons climbing wall is up and standing as it should. Within 24 hours of the delivery I received, as promised this time, I notified them of the remaining missing parts (23/12/2020) - the email was rejected as their inbox was full so I used their online chat - I've messaged them most days since - and nothing still.
So 6 months after we paid over 600£ for a climbing wall we are in no position to build it and I'm having to update this in the hope that once again this will get the company's attention and we will get what we paid for.
I know it's been Christmas, new year and a new lockdown, but it has also been a little boy's (who is autistic) bday and he is going through it all and still waiting for his bday present to be there.
So 6 months after we still miss the screws to put the climbing wall together.

Although the dolls house I ordered took 2 weeks to come I can’t fault how the company handled this. I was worried after reading the reviews it wasn’t going to come but after contacting just add play a few times they was quick to deal with my enquiries and my item did come.

Absolutely brilliant. I’ve ordered the dollhouse and received the parcel in 3 working days. Because of the mixed reviews, I have contacted the company twice regarding my order. I have been connected almost immediately and spoken to a very polite and professional member (Chris) of customer service, on both occasions. Overall I’ve had a great experience with Just add play and will definitely use them again. Thank you.

I was concerned that my dolls house that I had ordered online was not going to arrive in time for Xmas. This led me to call JAP up and I spoke to an extremely helpful member of staff and he resolved and went above and beyond to fix this. I would highly recommend and will buy more products in future from this company. Many thanks 🙏
