I’m going to Avoid
I’m going to Avoid, Avoid,Avoid . Item I ordered never arrived. Customer support are worse I have ever experienced, just a waste of my time, promise to look into it and never follow up. I had to use PayPal in the end for a chargeback after waiting weeks.
Disgraceful treatment Case 2005281687
Bought ideacentre 5 gaming, CPU fan was very noisy. Was told they would send a new fan out and when ever it arrived they would send someone to replace it. 9 days and nothing arrived, I emailed them back to see what the delay was. I was told they had changed their warranty terms and could not do onsite repairs in Ireland anymore. I was told i would have to send it back for a replacement fan. I emailed them back and accused them of not honouring their onsite warranty and offered to replace the fan myself which is a 3 minute job, if they sent it out. But they refused and this time blamed covid for not honouring there onsite warranty. I have bought many computers and laptops over the years from different suppliers and these are the worst cowboys i have ever come across. Their warranty is a joke and illegal. How can you say you provide onsite warranty when obviously you do not. 18/02/22
Update: Posted same review on Lenovo website and this is the response I got.
Your review has been moderated. It cannot be published to the website but our staff has read your review and values your contribution even though it did not meet all our website guidelines. Thanks for sharing, and we hope to publish next time! Lenovo.
Obviously there website reviews are scams as well. Only the good reviews are accepted.
Bad as you can get
As another customer eloquently put it If I could put No Stars in the review I would. An appalling customer service (via Digital River Ireland via Lenovo.ie) which is designed to generate an email chain with different agents coming back saying they will escalate to the relevant team or communicate back within a set number of hours which they never do. The process is either a deliberately designed policy to frustrate the consumer and make them give up chasing or they are so incompetent that they can't even complete basic customer service and common professional courtesy. I've been given the runaround with customer support for over 1 month with different agents saying the same stock response it's being looked at. I even tried to contact Lenovo directly to complain and try and get some traction through them, they didn't want to know, and I was told to contact Digital River directly, even though you start your order process on Lenovo and get passed to Digital River to fulfil the order. A case of Lenovo washing their hands. I would recommend staying away from Lenovo Ireland and Digital River with an exceptionally large barge pole! Purchase from them at your own risk. It looks like the only recourse for getting your money back from Digital River will be to take a case with the Small Claims Compensation process. One would think that Lenovo would take notice of the number of complaints on TrustPilot about Digital River and their customer service fulfilling Lenovo product orders - but they don't seem to be interested in the personal customer once the handover to Digital River takes place.
Will Take Your Money & Give You Runaround with Support (via Digital River who fulfil the order)

I am still awaiting a refund of Custom Duty that I had to pay to UPS to have my product released of an order I made on Digital River Ireland. My order was delivered piece-meal in several deliveries and the final delivery of a Chromebook (my most expensive item) which was late came by UPS and they wanted Custom Duty before giving me my product which I had already paid for. I made the payment and emailed support to request my refund because of their error. I've been given the runaround with customer support for over 2 months with different agents saying the same stock response it's being looked at, on a call I was told by the agent that my attachments in my email of proof of payment, etc. hadn't been updated into the ticket to the team who would action the payment. I won’t buy from this company again…
The product is adequate (I have a Lenovo Laptop)but the purchase and delivery system is inadequate. I bought a PC on line, it was to be delivered on 5 January but never arrived. I contacted Lenovo via the mail contact system but got no response. Tried the number repeatedly but it doesn’t work. I contacted the courier (see my review of UPS) but received no new delivery slot so have cancelled the order now at the end of 6 Jan following the missed delivery.
Further email timed 0409 on 7 January telling me that they cannot manage a cancellation, despite this being provided for on their website with an instruction that any delivery post cancellation should simply be rejected. I have emailed and am awaiting a response at 14:50 on 8 January.
Received a response on 10 January to the effect that the normal processes would be followed and that I would get my refund when the PC was received back by them… i.e., when their incompetent delivery system has sorted itself out… I’ve responded again by email to the effect that this is not reasonable and await their further response…
Let’s see where this goes: I won’t buy from this company again.
Avoid at all costs
Bought a laptop from Lenovo Ireland. Bought it from the Irish website, paid Irish VAT and so on. They routed it through UK, and UPS had to pay custom charges to get it cleared. Obviously they wouldn't deliver unless I pay them €484. Nonsense! Lenovo customer service is so useless, spent well over 1h a day for a whole week WITH NO SUCCESS only to hear that they will escalate my ticket, make it a priority, fake names, been hung up on or disconnected each time I called them.
Thankfully UPS were helpful enough and sorted it out. After everything was over Lenovo had the audacity to ask me to complete a survey!?!? of how my experience with them was.
Not worth the hassle. I'd rather overpay at DID/ Harvey Norman or something than have to deal with Lenovo again.
Avoid
Avoid. In my opinion, if this wasn't a registered "business" it would be considered a criminal entity. If I gave someone money for something on false pretences and they didn't return it, I'd call it stealing. In this case, I purchased and paid for a pc and monitor on the Lenovo Ireland website when they were in stock on the website in November. A week or two later after repeated emails from me, they 'cancelled' the order saying the items were out of stock. I've been emailing daily since then to get my money back. Partial refund given, still waiting on the rest of it. If this happened on the street I'd be going to the police. As it's a seemingly legitimate business they are protected by the administrative bureaucracy and don't seem to care about the negative reviews.
500$ 3 year old Lenovo VR camera is now…
500$ 3 year old Lenovo VR camera is now a paperweight...useless!!!!!
I can no longer get spare batteries for my 3 year old lenovo camera.. batteries were not allowed to bring on airplane home from holiday since they were a danger to flight safety and were bloated and not working .. after 1 year!!!!
Since not purchased in Denmark they had only 1 year warranty and can no longer be purchased!!!!
Lenovo refuse to take any responsibility and send me in circles regarding support!!!
Shame on you Lenovo!
lenovo.ie it is a SCAM!
I would give 0 stars if possible! I bought a Yoga Slim 7i Carbon from lenovo.ie and never managed to receive the product. After days trying to track the package (I was doing what Lenovo was supposed to do), I find out from UPS there was a leak over my package. I called Lenovo sales support and they were unable to send a new package of refund the money until they get the damaged pack from UPS. So, the computer has never been delivered, it was not my fault and now I need to wait an undefined time to get my money back. STAY AWAY from buying computer from this company that lacks on customer focus.
I am currently in contact with them…
I am currently in contact with them over an issue that dates back to April. UPS driver threw order over 8ft wall and destroyed it. We were back and forth with Lenovo and they didn't send a replacement out until June.
Then they insisted on collecting the damaged item. Again issues arose with collections.
Eventually collection was given over to UPS and it took place.
HOWEVER, Lenovo never paid UPS and UPS have been seeking payment from us!!!! They have now given my details over to a debt collection company.
I can't imagine what this is doing to my credit score!!!
I have been in contact with Lenovo on several occasions but to no avail. I have been promised issue will be resolved but it is still on going.
Lenovo clearly is completely apathetic towards their customers.
Stay clear of them.
I purchased the top-tier warranty for…
I purchased the top-tier warranty for in-home repair but Lenovo are saying that this is not possible. First, the excuse was "because you are in Ireland" and then it evolved into "because of Covid".
They knew my location when I purchased it - its written on the warranty, so I should not have been allowed to purchase if this was the case.
Covid I would understand if we were in lockdown - but currently, there are no restrictions and everyone is vaccinated.
Their team would not give me any answers about when this service will resume (if ever) and stopped responding to my messages.
I can't send my laptop away for a week. I use it for work EVERY DAY. This is the reason I spent the extra money on the warranty!
Poor communication and delays
I placed my order in October being promised that it would take 7 business days. Then that became 2 weeks which increased into 4 weeks from the start. Now it's a delay of more than 4 months. I have put in a cancellation request (7548676000) and I hope you approve it. I shouldn't have bothered ordering in the first place.
Lenovo - the worst products and service
The worst products and service. I ordered monitor, shipping was promised in 1-3 days. Nothing was delivered, in 10 days money was returned to me.
But I was soo foolish that I ordered the same monitor second time. The monitor arrived but it's design is primitive, vision at the screen is foggy, colors are not great ( to compare with my Philips screen which is a little bit more expensive).
But it's not end of the story: Lenovo took money from my account second time for the first order and now I had to fight for the my refund. I had to involve my bank and contact Lenovo Customer Care dozens of time.
If you value yourself- never go near Lenovo and their products!
Stay away from Lenovo Ireland !!!
The worst customer service !!! I've been waiting for a response since 13th October but unsuccessfully.
False promises and several email saying that my case is solved but I've never seen my monitor !!!
Stay away from them if you don't want to get disappointed !!!
I bought a all in one Lenovo desktop…
I bought a all in one Lenovo desktop about 1.5 years ago and was so happy when I got it as I used to work with the thinkpad in work for years. Yesterday it tipped over and fell onto the screen. The screen is broken now. Not visible from the outside but doesn’t work on the left anymore. Went to three different places to have it fixed and was told to replace the screen is 500 eur for the part and 80 to 120 to install it. The desktop was 998 eur when I bought it. Outrageous price for the replacement screen!! Never a Lenovo again. Also tried to log a complaint on their website, but how convenient it does currently not work. Unbelievable.
Do not buy from here
When the second part of my order shipped only part of it actually shipped. Though their system says and they still maintain all of it shipped. So I have now had numerous calls and emails with Digital River. Most calls start with our system says it has shipped. I keep getting, I will raise a ticket. Finally over a week ago I thought I was getting a refund within a day or 2. Still no refund. All emails tell me to have patience I would stay away from this website. Look elsewhere for Desktop/Laptop.
Dreadful service do NOT use
Dreadful service from placing order to non delivery. Do not use this website. Placed an order on 5th August for a basic laptop and was told 1-2 day shipping. Eventually shipped on 16th August and then UPS held it because Lenovo (Digital River) hadn't completed customs paperwork. Rang and cancelled the order and was told they would get UPS to return it and process refund, should take 7 days max. Now 8th Sept and no refund, no laptop. Numerous emails and phone calls keep getting promises refund is being escalated. Do NOT order from this website. I do a lot of online shopping and have never ever had an experience so bad.
Lenovo Ireland are an absolute…
Lenovo Ireland are an absolute disgrace- ordered a laptop & mouse on 10th August. Mouse arrived after 2 days, laptop is in a warehouse waiting to be shipped by UPS because Lenovo did not supply paperwork for it. Lenovo did manage to charge my account in full on the day of purchase tho. Blue in the face from talking to clueless "customer service reps" looking for it to be delivered or for a refund. Steer clear
Stay away from this website!!!
Stay away from this website!!!
Ordered a wireless keyboard and mouse with have disappeared into the ether. Tracking number is invalid. Customer service keep saying they will come back to me but don’t. And to top it off they won’t let me cancel my order I have to refuse delivery.. of a product that has never been delivered/cannot be located.
Steer clear.
I ordered a phone but it didn't arrive.
I ordered a phone but it didn't arrive.
After 1 month and 5 calls to their so called customer service, who told me they would give me an update but never did. They still couldn't tell me where my order was. so I cancelled the order, i hope the refund process is not as bad. avoid this company if you don't want a premature heart attack.
