Beware!
Movee advised my start time would be between 7am and 9am, they called me at 830 am saying they wouldn't be there until 10am. The removalists showed up at 1015 and were actually ok, however at the end of the job (exactly 2 hours) they insisted I paid cash, and then rammed a review link down my throat and insisted I rated them 5 starts, to which I replied I will review them when I am ready.
I told them, I will pay the bank account as per the invoice in the email, which I did on the day. I then noticed that they had charged me for 3 hours (not 2). There have been numerous emails back and forth with them asking me to prove the start and finish times of their men. I mean, who takes photos of the time when they started and finished?!
I will not be using their service again, very unprofressional
Poor end to end service
We had booked a “fixed price” move and had been upfront on the requirements for the move. When the subcontracted company arrived at the location, I was told it would be an additional $100 due to the stairs of our apartment. I got in contact with a Movee representative who told me this is the case as it was not part of the quote. I argued the point that this was a fixed price service and we had told them stairs were involved when estimating the quote. The representative said she would call me back. She did not.
Later in the arvo when we arrived and got to unloading into the new location, I was contacted by another representative who wanted to sort out payment (service had not been complete yet). I asked them about the stair service and they said they would look into it but insisted I pay immediately. I paid Movee the remainder of the agreed amount but when we finalised our conversation in regards to the stair service they insisted I pay the contractor the amount discussed. They stated the “fixed service” cost only included x amount of stairs which may have been exceeded by us and that it was all part of the terms of conditions. Although I argued this had not been communicated appropriately at quote, they insisted I still had to the contractors the amount, which I ended up doing.
Later in the arvo once the unpack had been finalised, I looked at the terms and conditions and found that the information outlined by the last representative was false and that there should not have been additional costs. I called again, and this time the representative stated that it had nothing to do with Movee, that no one had told me to pay the contractors (two had during the day) and that I would need to deal with the contractors myself. The representative got very confrontational, talking over me continuously, and raising his voice (admittedly I responded in kind). Although the move itself was fine, the service provided by Movee itself was subpar. Theyre a booking service who take zero responsibility beyond that. I would not recommend using them to anyone.

Movee are thieves. They keep your deposit if you cancel. I gave 2 weeks notice of cancellation and they still refused to refund.
Their rule is you need to cancel on the SAME DAY as you book to qualify for a refund of your deposit. Have you ever heard anything so ridiculous????
Avoid these clowns like the plague. How I wish I’d searched Google reviews before I booked with them. So many negative reviews.
I warned movee that I’d be giving my own reviews across social media and they didn’t care. Because they are SHONKY.
But don’t take my word for it - they have hundreds of negative reviews - damaging people furniture and white goods, not showing up on the removal day, being super slow so they can charge more- the list goes on.
I heard from a friend yesterday that Movee were terrible. That’s why I cancelled. I only lost $100 deposit thankfully - I’m sure if I had used them it would have been a nightmare.

Dreadful experience
Dreadful experience, the only thing they are reliable about is chasing their invoice. The service was performed so poorly by them and they came a day late and let us down. Offered half an hour discount for being a day late then their guys don’t leave until paid. It’s threatening and intimidatory buyer beware! They are awful to deal with please avoid!

Moving slot the night before and the removalists still arrived at the wrong time!! John was the worst person ever to deal with especially if you are a woman!!! You are much better off paying a bit extra to go with a company where they understand what you are saying and know what they are doing. Receptionist Amy also had ZERO customer service and was not able to ‘locate’ or ‘Find’ a manager for me!!! Their company is laughable!! I will make sure to tell everybody about my experience! This is one of the most poorly run businesses I have ever had the displeasure of working with. The initial truck sent to help my move was scheduled between 7-9. It was delayed by an hour and a half but I had no communication from Movee to let me know this. 10:30 then came and went and still no truck had arrived, I tried to contact the company 5 times but the phone rang out to no voicemail every time. I then called again and selected a different option from the automated responder to book a new move and the phone was answered instantly. I proceeded to tell the person on the phone what the issue was for them only to hang up after saying they would look into it, this happened twice more. I was then called at midday for them to let me know the truck wouldn't be arriving today as there were some issues at the depot... they then said they could try and send another truck at 4pm. At this point I asked for a discount as they had wasted an entire days moving that I had planned to do and broken their initial contract with me. They offered me $5 off the original price which was ludicrous given the circumstances. 4pm then came and went but eventually a truck (which was much too small) arrived at 4:45. Fortunately the two guys with the truck were actually very helpful and we fit as much as we could and moved about two thirds of my belongings to the new address. Once the job was '"complete" (even though not everything had been moved) the contractors then requested payment. I told them I had negotiated a discount and would need to speak to a representative at Movee. When on the phone to the manager at the company I relayed the story and asked for a larger discount than $5. At this point the person on the phone began verbally abusing me and told me and threatened violence saying the movers would bash me and take my money. At this point I said if anything happened I would call the cops and they hung up. NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY. They also added multiple hidden charges to the final bill and sometimes do not pay their contractors. I have since found out that they seem to intentionally not book a sun contractor until they day of your move knowing full well there might not be someone available. They do this knowing that their customers have already paid a $100 deposit and sometimes (in my case also) the customer has already paid $165 insurance for the service. So they take the customers $265 pre-paid amount and intentionally don't find trucks and ignore their customers after taking the money and not providing a service at all. Again, PLEASE NEVER USE THIS BUSINESS. They need to be shut down.
Extremely Displeased with Removalist Services
I am writing to express my utter disappointment and frustration with the removalist services provided by Movee (Ankith). My recent experience with your company has been nothing short of a nightmare.
First and foremost, I was appalled by the lack of professionalism and care exhibited by your team. Not only did they handle my belongings with complete disregard for their value, but they also showed a blatant disregard for the safety of my property and that of my neighbors. Despite my repeated warnings, the removalists were about to hit the gas line of my property and the water line of my neighbor's property, displaying a shocking level of negligence and incompetence.
Moreover, the removalists were incredibly slow in their work, despite my efforts to assist them in expediting the process. They showed no regard for the condition of my property, resulting in extensive damage to the interior, including scratches and dents on the surfaces and edges of walls. It is evident that your team failed to take even the most basic precautions to prevent such damage, displaying a severe lack of competency and respect for their work.
Furthermore, the lack of proper wrapping and handling tools is simply unacceptable. It is unfathomable that a professional removalist company would not come equipped with the necessary tools to ensure the safe transport of their clients' belongings.
To add insult to injury, the inability of your team to handle a lightweight sofa without causing damage is incomprehensible. It is clear that your employees lack the necessary skills and expertise to perform their jobs effectively, resulting in unnecessary damage and frustration for your clients.
In conclusion, I am thoroughly dissatisfied with the services provided by Movee. The level of incompetence and negligence displayed by your removalists is inexcusable, and I will be seeking compensation for the damages incurred as a result of their actions. I strongly advise against using your services in the future and will be sharing my experience with others to prevent them from making the same mistake.

Disaster move we moved to villa next door and moved almost everything and only had a washing machine fridge 2 queen size beds daybed a dining table large painting & 3 extra large garden pots
They arrive with a trolley no ties and no tools lent tge. Tools to disassemble 1 queen bed they didn’t speak English. Tuesday didn’t even know how to turn a table
Around a door we has d to help move main bed which is an adjustable bed king single & mattress we moved 2 x mattresses and helped with base as it us heavy,while moving fridge they dropped fridge & destroyed it while Taking it up a large step . They rang there boss & he said he would replace fridge but we had to pay for move we paid $628.00 but after 2 weeks nothing they hadn’t even taken away damaged

Caveat Lector : DO NOT USE this company. They LIE about pricing, they will constantly harass you via text, calls and emails ( even on weekends ). They will give you a quote and then change it. Even when it is agreed upon, you will end up owing more money than what was stipulated in the contract. My daughter and I even helped the two men load and offload and the admin staff are requesting more money, when they were finished well and truly UNDER the contracted time. I’ve had nothing but stress and drama from this company. English isn’t their first language and the removal contractors will talk in their own language in front of clients, which is rude IMO.
Whilst the contractors who drove the truck and carried the heavier items were pleasant to us, we still feel let down by how the company itself treated us.
Pay extra and use an AUSTRALIAN OWNED / reputable company. Especially if you want a peaceful moving experience. Movee is more trouble than I care to explain.

Didn't turn up on the day booked, rebooked for the next day.
Two bedroom unit with everything packed and dissembled but they said this is a massive job, we need 4 man and at least 5 hours, the move was only a few hundred metres.
(When I moved in here the job took 3 hours with 2 man).
All up there was 2 Queen size beds, a tall boy, 4 bedside draws, 2 TVs, fridge, lounge. dining table set, a washing machine and 6 boxes.
They left after complaining for 30 minutes about how the quote was incorrect and any 2 bedroom move is always 4 people.
The quote had a surcharge of $80 for stairs but when they turned up that jumped to $300
The total price went from around $400 to $1500 minimum.
When I contacted Movee about this they had every excuse in the world and said we will rebook, I declined and said I want to cancel as this has been nothing but a disaster.
I asked for my $100 deposit back and they kept saying they can't do that.
Eventually they agreed but it will take 4-5 weeks.
Told them it is a 5 minute process and if its not returned by the end of the week I will be going to Fair Trading and the bank, all of a sudden they agreed so we will see what happens there.
Found myself a different company who turned up the next day at the scheduled time and done the job with 2 man in under 3 hours for $550

- Wouldn't even move the TV, asked me to take it in my car
- Half way through the job the scam kicked in. They refused to empty the truck unless I paid them more then the agreed amount.
- I stood my ground and eventually they resumed unloading but now they began purposely dropped furniture which damaged the piece beyond repair
- They severely damaged a wall, again must be on purpose as the damage is so severe it looks deliberate
- Then they forced me to pay for the remainder of the job before they would finish, even though they had a $100 deposit, and they tried to change the total bill thinking I didn't understand basic maths.
- Once I paid, they drove off without finishing the job.
Sadly, there are a lot of contractors like this now in Melbourne, I'm sure you know the type.

I am shaking and crying reading these reviews. I booked this company for a job this week and I gave them a deposit. I am on a pension and I have been getting the run around from the start. I just cancelled the job and I can only pray that they return my deposit. I never, ever buy or use any service advertised online without checking with Trustpilot and I made a big mistake not doing so in this instance. Thank you all at Trustpilot for the work that you do to keep consumers informed and safe.

Using Movee has been the worst moving experience ever. An absolute scam not only for customers but in our experience the poor men with trucks they send out. They charge a 10% service fee of the cost of the move so in their best interest to ensure it takes longer than it should. The men with a truck they sent for our job were very nice and friendly but clearly not professionals.
We were very clear in our job outline and even offered to send photos as all of our stuff was packed in garages ready to go. We were only moving less that 2kms down the road. Movee sent 2 guys with pretty much the smallest truck to be classified as a truck to move a 3 bdr house. We have moved before and we usually have only required 1 large truck load. I could understand 2 maybe but 3 loads is a joke. The men with a truck required direction regarding stacking and ended up needing to help them as they were extremely slow and without work flow coordination between them. They were simply men with a truck and not professionals What should have taken 3 hours took 6+ and ended up costing over $1000. The Movee representative who claims he was the manager when I asked for my call to be escalated was rude and spoke over the top of me. Said the compliance guy would call me, won’t hold my breath. The men with trucks were also unhappy with the job as they didn’t get paid what they thought (also strange) and missed out on another job due to Movee sending out men with a truck rather than experienced professional movers. Lesson learnt too regarding fine print in contract. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.
