Oracle force you to apply for a free-tier account which arbitrarily blocks people from signing up (we had no such blocks when registering with providers such as AWS or Azure).

Our company simply needed a normal pay-as-you-go account but the registration process was painful. Everyone we spoke to seemed to have no clue about setting up a standard non-free tier account for us (as their automated system was unable to register us.)

It took them almost 2 weeks to even begin processing our information for our pay-as-you-go account.

In the end, we lost our patience and signed-up with one of their competitors. How long did the registration take with these new providers? 1 hour. This is how it should be. No one should have to wait for 2 weeks to simply open a standard account.

If they are providing this level of customer service just signing up NEW customers, can you imagine the level of customer service after they have "made the sale"?

Love the always free tier. Using it to host several Discord bots no issue. Their firewall was pretty confusing to configure, though luckily the support provided me a link to setup right away when I contacted them.

Really bad experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, they disabled my "Always Free" account and deleted all my data without any notification and without ability for me to retrieve my sensitive data from terminated Virtual Machine.

The worst of the worst. Oracle sucks value out of ecosystems and gives nothing back. They have never made a product of any value, and have ruined many great software packages. This entire company should be avoided like the plague.

Sponsors of a corrupt organisation that has falsely dragged fans through the dirt and treated us with contempt at the handling of the takeover of Newcastle United. I will never advocate anyone to have any form of business with this company as a result

If I could give their cloud services zero stars, I would gladly do!
Their support are too slow! Two month to take an action! They charged me for around 2000 euros while their system couldn't even let me check the usage or have a control over anything! Don't waste your time nor your money even their 500usd as a primary credit is just a trap!

This company is the worst. Thier product are slow and ponderous and expensive as the devil. Ellison had to pay 250mil on more than one occasion to SEC for inflating stock. They are a cancer.

Infuriating experience downloading Java 11. You gotta sign up. Signed up then no email confirmation. Trustpilot review posted, still no email. Can't download that software without signing up and can't sign up due to Oracle's limitations. What an incredible pile of garbage.

I was trying to sign-up with my Visa, the card was being approved but the site was not approving it and I followed the instructions to contact the support. When I got to support, I was greeted by Elaine who tells me that Visa is prepaid/gift and that it is not an acceptable form of payment. I ask why it is listed in the payment options and I do not get an answer instead I just get told that they do not accept it. Her answers were blunt and did not make any sense.

Together with the Jave update, Oracle deceives the user into installing malware/spyware/adware.
