Overpriced and unreliable. After living in London for more than 10 years, I am absolutely shocked that this price hike is allowed to continue, every year there is a price increase of ~5-6% or mor... See more

No AC on London’s brand new electric buses - why?!
We boarded a C11 bus from Hampstead to Highgate yesterday. It was a brand new electric bus (these buses are, generally speaking, a great improvement on the old diesel buses, they are quiet and don’t pollute). However, it was hot in London yesterday, 27c, and this new single decker bus had NO AC!!! It had just one tiny window strip which was open, no other windows, on one of the hottest days of the year. It was like being in a sauna. Why is there no AC on a brand new bus? Hard to fathom. D-
Really bad service
Really bad service , signal failure is often enough and when it in the rush hour , it’s could cause people to pass out on the train , and on top of that the money value for the service we get is beyond ridiculously bad !!!
We must have a vote and who can own this company just like running presidency for country
I am being harassed by TFL
I am being harassed by TFL . I do not own the car ,which I confirmed with DVLA. But they still expect me to pay someone else's charges . I asked for investigation and they still keep penalties. I did not receive any notice of the chargers applied at first, first email came after 8 months of silence from their side. Outrageous. Never open an online account with them , they are stammer.
Rude bus driver
I was waiting at the bus stop, then the bus came and it drove right passed me while doing some rude expression. I was so embarrassed. It’s was a black boy in his late 20s.

Transport for London - Autopay Setup System Issue
I have gone thru the Blackwall Tunnel on May 22. On the same night around 20:30, I have immediately set up my account with TFL and setup my autopay by putting my Revolut account details on the website.
I have received my card verification successful notification at the same time of my autopay setup.
TFL's website said that our transactions may take upto 5 working days to show up in my autopay transactions.
However, after 3 days, while I tried to check my account status, I could not find my autopay setup details on my account while just missed my payment deadline.
On May 29, I received TFL's reply that I have been penalized for late payment for the tunnel fee and got a penalty charge of 90 pounds on May 29.
According to its website, it mentioned:
How Auto Pay works –
Auto Pay covers your payments from the moment you set it up, as well as payments for trips made earlier on the same day.
So I believed that I can rely on my autopay to make the payment (no worries) as card verification completed and it takes 5 working days to show up.
It is very obvious that it is their system fault of which I was being trapped and penalized for 90 pounds.
The worst situation is TFL won't reply to my challenge of my PCN and my follow up email after 21 days (based on their response commitment). I need its rejection number to escalate the case to London Tribunals!

330 bus route suppose to stop at the bus stop if it not there when a passenger put handout when needed transport
On 18 June 2026 at approximately 8:00…
On 18 June 2026 at approximately 8:00 a.m., at Queen’s Ride bus stop in Roehampton, London (Upper Richmond Road, towards Castelnau), the driver of the 33 bus ignored us despite us being clearly at the bus stop and waving to board. I was waving because I was running late for my daughter’s school drop-off. Other people at the bus stop and even a cyclist next to the bus were also trying to get the driver’s attention and indicating that he should stop, but he ignored us and pulled away. It appeared that he deliberately chose not to let us board, despite having only just arrived at the stop and being able to wait a few more seconds.
After pulling away, the driver then stopped at the traffic lights, opened the door, and shouted at me in front of my 6-year-old daughter, claiming it was because of my attitude. I find it concerning that he chose to open the doors and engage in an argument at traffic lights rather than remain focused on driving safely. His behaviour was unprofessional, intimidating, and completely unacceptable.
I Paid. TfL Didn’t Collect the Funds. Now I’m Going to Tribunal
One of the most frustrating experiences I have ever had with a public authority.
On 7 May 2026, I paid £43 through the TfL website for my Congestion Charge and ULEZ charges. The payment was authorised by my bank, the funds were reserved for TfL, and I had every reason to believe the payment had been successfully processed.
I later received multiple PCNs.
After investigating with my bank, Monzo confirmed that TfL had obtained authorisation for the payment but never collected the authorised funds. The payment was not declined, not rejected, and not cancelled by me. TfL simply did not capture the authorised payment before it expired.
Despite providing TfL with bank evidence, transaction details and the authorisation code supplied by Monzo, my representations were still rejected.
What is most disappointing is that I was never notified there was any issue with the payment. No receipt, no payment failure notification, no warning and no opportunity to correct the issue before penalties were issued.
I have now been forced to take the matter to London Tribunals, spending countless hours gathering evidence, preparing submissions and dealing with unnecessary stress, despite having done everything reasonably expected of me from the outset.
I selected the correct charges, entered my card details, completed the payment process and the payment was authorised. If TfL’s own systems failed to collect the authorised funds, that should not become the responsibility of the customer.
Mistakes and technical failures can happen, but the complete lack of common sense, accountability and willingness to resolve the issue fairly has been extremely disappointing.
A process that should have taken a few minutes has now turned into months of wasted time and effort for a customer who genuinely paid and did nothing wrong.
Thank you - lost property
I would like to say a huge thank you to TfL and the staff involved in finding my backpack.
I accidentally left it on the Hammersmith & City line and completed the online lost property form. Within just a couple of hours, I received a phone call from a lovely member of staff to let me know that my backpack had been found and was safely with them.
I was incredibly relieved, as it contained my EpiPens and heart medication. The efficiency and professionalism shown throughout the process were outstanding.
Thank you so much to everyone involved for your help and excellent service. It was greatly appreciated.

Unauorised Money withdrawn
I promptly paid the ULEZ charge after using my car on April 1, 2026. After selling my vehicle and notifying TFL, I was taken aback to discover a £25 deduction from my bank statement without any prior notice. This appears to be an unauthorized withdrawal of my funds.
This situation constitutes a breach of trust, and I consider it fraudulent to take someone's money without notification. Unfortunately, this is not the first time I have encountered a similar issue, and this company has consistently refused to refund my money.

Pathetic government service ever in the UK.
Thye dont give clear instructions on their website on ULEZ and LEZs , if you pay them mistakenly, they arent refunding for one day. Only UK government service that is reluctant to refund their customers for the overpayment of unused service.
Their customer service officers are the worst people!
Shame on you TfL!!!!
The driver has been instructed to wait
There is no single ride i go nowadays where there isnt " the driver had beed instructed to wait in this stop a little longer. We are sorry..." and simetimes 5 minutes (!) wait. (Probably Sadic's way to encirage people to walk ;-) )

Get told that tapping my card will save on my journey but am shocked to see the price I was charged from paddington to Burnham one way on Elizabeth line.
I'm travelling with two kids and not even a seat on the journey.
Can't keep up with these prices as a regular traveller due to care responsibilities.
Will take alternative ways of travelling as and when I can.
I am extremely disappointed with the…
I am extremely disappointed with the way my Private Hire Driver Licence application has been handled by TfL.
I submitted my application in April 2025 and have now been waiting 15 months for a decision. I successfully completed all required assessments in January 2026 and have complied with every request made throughout the process. Despite this, my application remains “in progress” with no clear explanation, no meaningful updates, and no indication of when a decision will be made.
Whenever I contact TfL, I receive generic responses referring to processing times, operational capacity, and ongoing checks, but nobody is able to explain the specific reason for the delay in my case or provide any realistic timeframe.
The impact of this delay has been significant. I have been unable to work in the profession I have trained and qualified for, causing financial hardship and unnecessary stress. As a single father supporting a young child, the lack of transparency and accountability has been particularly difficult.
I understand that licensing checks are important, but waiting 15 months without a clear explanation or decision is unacceptable. Applicants deserve better communication, greater transparency, and fairer processing times.
I hope that whatever those responsible for this process earn while performing their jobs so poorly, they never have to experience the financial hardship, stress, and medical costs that delays like this can cause to ordinary people who are simply trying to earn a living and support their families.
I hope TfL takes steps to improve its licensing service and addresses the backlog affecting applicants who are simply trying to earn a living and support their families.

As a wheelchair user and novice underground traveler, l was extremely grateful to the lovely young lady, Shireen (hope l spelled it right) who went well over the her usual duties to the public on the 9th June. She clocked off her shift and actually got on the tube with me and my friend and took us to the station we needed she was a star! Thank you Shireen. X
