VPN fails to maintain a connection on my Mac, talking with support takes you down the rabbit hole- -installing tunnelling software, removing firewall etc. to no avail. Initially there was resistance to issuing a refund. After my initial negative Trustpilot review was posted a refund was issued, and so I have revised my review.

If i am being honest im no tech head and most of these tech terms in many comments go over my head. What i can say in simple honest terms is i have been using surfshark vpn for the last 4 years till 29th feb when suddenly i got a message saying acc closed i tried to log back in and it said crudentials changed no idea why. So a friend recommended i try Privado so i down loaded the app tonight and set up an account and picked the free month 10gb to see how it performs. I do a lot of streaming on my firestick and i have to say so far its running " EXCELLENT " no latency or Buffering what so ever. If this vpn continues to perform as good as it is now then i will be Purchaseing it without doubt. The setting up of the account is so simple and Usage and Connection very user friendly compared to other vpn's i looked at for eg ipvanish, which i had previously on another device it was forever Disconecting , Proton is only compatable with Amazon 6.and above versions. In the end i gave up untill as i said my friend suggested i try Privado and i am so very glad i did. Reading a lot of negative reviews on here puzzles me ie the apps a pain it keeps disconnecting, it continues to use up their data wen they have stopped streaming, connecting to servers in different countries which slows down the speed on their device. ??? . Mine stays connected im in the UK i connected to Frankfurt no matter what i am streaming not a blipp or Buffer in sight. As for using up data after closeing down apps they are working on , easy fix is open Privado app and Disconnect as i previously said im a total amature with technology but in my humble opinion and limited experience so far with this vpn i would and will be highly recommending the app to everyone and if i had to score it 10 / 10 it gets from me.

This Vpn is a nightmare to use together with a firewall. It keeps disconnecting and re-connecting even with the processes allowed. Which suggests it may be doing shady stuff overall, which is strange cause its named Privado, which i assume means private in spanish.

Support unresponsive and ticket creation over website has to be repeated several times before accepted. Online cancellation is hidden and anything but userfriendly. subscription renewed despite cancellation and going rate $59 a joke compared to the fishing offers $30 or $1.99 - not trustworthy at all

Everything in this VPN platform are excellent 👌

Easy to instal and has all the features I need

So far so good. I have not had any issues whilst using this product / surfing the web / online shopping etc. and would recommend using this VPN service to anyone.

privadovpn FIXED IMMEDIATELY the following problem

privadovpn does not work with SKY(UK) internet

thankfully UNINSTALLING privadovpn worked and I had my SKY(UK) internet back

to be clear: privadovpn DID work while connected - but it ursurped / blocked SKY(UK) after disconnecting from privadovpn

Thus it was of no further use - I had to uninstall it

Thankfully, uninstalling was able to be done without a problem (unlike protonvpn - which CANNOT even be uninstalled)

BEWARE ! use restore on Windows
or have a cloned disk

1. Disable the KillSwitch feature:

2. Go to Settings -> VPN Protocols and activate OpenVPN TCP.

Reconnect VPN and let us know if the problem persists.

Thought this was a VPN and I could set my location as the UK , whilst on holiday in Spain - and access Sky Go & Super 6 . After 3 days of not working and getting confusing replies from their Support , I finally get one from them to say that it’s not compatible with Sky . So it’s not a working VPN is it ? 🙈

I use the free service. It easy to use, relatively quick and trouble free - what more could you ask for. It is excellent

I use the "premium" service for primarily streaming live sport from the UK whilst travelling. Occasionally the streaming service identifies that a proxy is being used and denies access. When streaming is possible (most cases, to be fair) there are regular interruptions to the stream. Sometimes changing the server helps but there are only 2 UK proxy servers available, which severely limits options and viewing pleasure.

It's slow and didn't get a good experience with their support and the supposedly "Money back guarantee".
I won't say their service is really bad but it's not up to my liking.
