it would be easier to say what went right as the only good thing about the company was when thy left and took there horses with them cowboys

pump stopped working today and it turns out they have used shielded signal wire to draw 240v....dangerous as a fire hazard.

if you have had anything fitted by this company or Qualis **** then I would have your wiring checked...this is just the last in a long line of issues even during fitting they lied forged my signature , installed pumps on the wrong side of the flow..the list goes on... as you may know they no longer trade as Qualis Scotland limited but do trade under Qualis *** other names....dont use them at all

Qualis has given us an incomplete installation of a boiler and insulation package subsidised by the energy industry, and now does not respond to any attempt to discuss the failings. Consequently, we strongly advise anyone considering using them to avoid the company and group.
The boiler and associated electrics were installed OK, but needed a return visit to install a bypass to overcome a bang whenever the boiler shut down and the valves closed. That cured the noise for a while but it has returned. Qualis were asked to fix it on 5 October and despite assurances that they were making arrangements to visit no-one has been in contact to do so.
The cavity insulation using small grey beads left a significant quantity of them around the garage and garden. The extraction holes for the previous fibre insulation were filled in a slap-dash manner that leaves them noticeable.
Several air circulation vents were to be installed and the wiring for them has been set up, but the units remain in their boxes.
The boiler specified in the quotation is of a higher output than that fitted, but I was assured that this is an error and the calculation gave a lower capacity than fitted. My request to see the calculation was agreed but, since no-one has visited, I have not seen that.
There are some other failings that could be resolved by a visit.
I first notified the issues on 23 May and summarised them in an email on 5 June to the Operations Manager and got assurances they were working on arranging a visit. Further reminders have seen sent and a new Ops Mgr has been in touch with assurances. That second Ops Mgr has also left the Company according to his LinkedIn entry. Phone calls to the quoted number 0141 212 0840 go unanswered. An email direct to raymond@qualislimited – who I assume to be Raymond Ringrose the company / group director – has not generated any response despite me promising to write this review if there was no reply.
Altogether this seems a business in terminal decline with no customer service ability.
AVOID.

Pure shocked got full air sourced heating earlier in the year and was hounded for the money and now my system isn’t working and these have gone into liquidation or bust no way of contacting them at all busy dealing with trade and standards now but with a 3 week old baby isn’t handy at all unimpressed

Qualis recently installed a new air source heat pump at my property. The service was excellent from start to finish. First, a detailed survey was done to ensure the system was sized accurately. Then the installation guys came and replaced all my radiators and pipes which was done quickly and to a high standard. The team were friendly and professional. The sales guy Mark was especially good in helping me with my Home Energy Scotland loan application and provided all the necessary documents on time. Communication was great and even had the owner come to do some quality assurance! All round great experience and would recommend to anyone.

I deal with John G and have always found him great to speak with on a personal and professional level. From a business perspective, Qualis have be fantastic to work alongside.

I recently employed Qualis Renewables to install an Air Source Heat Pump at my property. From start to finish, I was thoroughly impressed with the service I received. From assistance with navigating the tricky funding application, to the very professional work from their engineers, in both designing and installing my new system my experience was first class. Highly recommended.

Started with sales rep Andy at door and at this point was thinking of replacing boiler.
Rep then informed me I may qualify for Grant through ECO 3 funding i had never heard of this be for was very interested Went ahead with surveys and quote very competitive price so went ahead with installations had with time scale and workmanship.
Only issue was the removal of old cavity wall insulation was very messy dust and inulation entering the house at various points.
In general very happy with end result

Had a whole list of works done earlier this year and end of last year.
Comms weren't excellent, very poor infact, from what I gather sub contractors are used with little control over them. Delays, embarrassing moment when plumber asked for money once new boiler was done....but payment had been previously arranged, plumber couldn't leave till it was confirmed - that took some time and meanwhile I had to try and make small talk amicably as he seemed annoyed at the whole situation....but that was due to others not giving him wrong information. Loft insulation was quick, makes me wonder about quality of work. Cavity wall left a great big mess in the loft that was never explained to me - which was done after loft insulation, so now there's a thick layer of dust from old cavity wall insulation all over the new loft insulation.
Mess left behind I had to ask several times to be cleared.
Wall holes filled poorly in my opinion, and the filler was left on gate, walls and garden furniture - and I'm pretty sure they smashed a bucket to peices.

In general, not great - perhaps on par with all average contractors out there?!

I had to snag the work and tell qualis to get it finished. They should have snagged their own work.

I used Qualis of reccomnedation of somebody who was recommended to me....initially I went with his original company, but had since moved to qualis - just another sale to them I suppose.

Ironic that I am rating Qualis following an email from them requesting I kindly review on trust pilot!

Hope this helps somebody make a better decision than me.

The only person who did really good job was the gas engineer who installed the boiler.

The guys who installed the underfloor insulation did just half of the house and left the other half as it was difficult access according to them.

The guy who was meant to cut the doors to 10mm came in removed the thresholds took pictures and put them back in. No doors have been cut.

The guys who had to install fans didn't show up. Well one of them came, said the other one is off sick and they will have to come another day. That guy took some pictures as well and never showed up.

Overall apart from the gas engineer, I felt like all of that was one big scam for milking public money.

From initial phone call to work competition was a few days if that. All the trades that turned up were exceptional. Very professional, tidied their work well and answered any questions we had.

Did the job when agreed. 2 unresolved issues remain. Price as agreed

Visit from Brad introducing himself yesterday and giving me a summary of what the Company can offer. Found him polite and accommodating and a visit was arranged for an initial survey today at a time that suited me.
Mark and Laura showed up today; friendly; introducing themselves and did a survey of the property within 20 minutes or so. Really efficient. Further visit arranged for 2weeks time for a fuller technical survey. Mark explained all that would happen and what to expect. Really impressed so far.

Started with a ring on our front door bell. Guy explained the working of his company and what service they offered. After explaining more about government grants and what they can do for us I decided to let them send out the surveyors to check out my property. 3 days later two surveyors came to do the survey on my property. Within 2 weeks we had a new boiler fitted and underfloor insulation installed. Tradesmen were very polite and done a neat and tidy job and uplifted all the old materials.

I had a great experience with with Qualis from the initial contact with the office, a survey was arranged and carried out by a very professional survey team, they kept me very informed throughout the entire process, I had underfloor insulation fitted and a full new air source heat pump installed. All the installers were well mannered and attentive, they explained before the job began what would be involved to install and complete both the insulation and the air source heat pump. I didn’t realise the amount of work that would be involved especially the heating system being fitted, there was a couple of issues which occurred with the water pipes during the installation process, which Qualis informed me of and dealt with during there works.
I am extremely pleased the job the company has done and would highly recommend there services

Reluctantly signed up to the government ECO 3 scheme following a cold call. It involved replacing my old boiler, installing three additional radiators, three electric fan ventilators, six underfloor crossflow vents and installing underfloor insulation. Turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve made in a long time.

The service provided by the company was unbelievably good. Their office always kept me informed about the tradesmen’s arrival and the workmanship was outstanding. Particularly amazing was the workmanship of the underfloor insulation considering how difficult this must have been. I really can’t praise them enough.

Cold called early December, succession of visits, work completed early January!! All tradespeople were first class treating our home with respect while they changed boilers, inserted underfloor insulation, new radiators, cut doors to allow proper ventilation and provided new extractor fans. Very helpful admin staff as well. Happy to recommend Qualis unreservedly.

After a few calls and a false start Qualis eventually sent a surveyor to my property. Over the phone (prior to the surveyor's visit) I was given a rough cost per square metre for loft insulation. I knew the size of the loft so I could roughly calculate the cost. I had to hassle them to provide a quote (they're not good at returning calls) I was given a rough cost estimate. This was twice the previously mentioned cost per square metre. I asked them to provide an actual cost rather than a rough one. They would call me back. They didn't. I called them and the price was now three times the original cost per square metre. I asked them to justify the three times increase over the original cost per square metre price. No justification was given. That is what I've been told to quote you was the answer. These people are recommended by SCARF. Perhaps SCARF should review the performance of this company and reconsider their recommendation.

My son was given Qualis name by a friend as he had no central heating in his home. From first contact to Qualis to the central heating being installed and operational was four weeks. Incredible! Qualis were also able to obtain a full grant from Angus Council for all of the work and materials involved, so my son had zero contributions to make. Brilliant service.

We had such a bad experience with Qualis when they did our loft insulation that we refused to let them do the other part of the quote (cavity wall insulation).

They were here and gone within just over an hour (and one of the two guys spent a fair amount of that time locked in our bathroom). I wondered how they could possibly put loft insulation down in such a short space of time. The answer became quite obvious when I went up to see their "handywork".

I honestly could have done a better job myself with no experience whatsoever. It was chucked down, just a big rectangle in the middle of the loft space - where it went into the angles they simply didn't bother! We could clearly see where their insulation stopped (around 2' from each edge) and our original yellow insulation was clearly visible. There was no fitting between the joists, just thrown into place - it looked like a rough sea. We could also see large areas of ceiling where no insulation was present.

We let Qualis know we were extremely unhappy with the standard and that there was no way we would allow their staff back to do cavity wall insulation. They sent the guys back to put insulation around the perimeter areas previously not done, but it still looks like they threw it up into the loft from below.

We were quoted £500 for both loft insulation and cavity wall insulation and even though they haven't done the cavity wall insulation they are pursuing us for the full £500. We have told them we will not be paying for work that hasn't been done, and they can come and collect their loft insulation too as we doubt it is effective in doing any insulating.

not a very customer friendly company. Had contact with them, had a survey done, no problems with personnel who attended and the survey team were efficient and thorough. Up to that point everything was perfect. After that, nothing! Never heard another word. E-mails ignored, can't get them on the phone, just nothing. If this is customer service, then I give them a big thumbs down.
