I am trying to understand the situation…

I am trying to understand the situation that SingPost is having due to COVID-19. I think I have been patient enough but this is just getting too ridiculous for my parcel to not been shipped yet since 23rd April 2020. I am not shipping a fridge or a kitchen sink. It's just a watch to Hong Kong. I might be sounding unreasonable here but could someone enlighten me? I am trying to be as understanding as I can but SingPost's not giving me answers and I am number 41 in the 'live chat' queue.

SingPost offers the WORST service ever. If you want to get your parcels and letters lost, you should use them.
I sent a package off on 3 Apr 2020, registered with tracking. After a month, my Friend still didn’t receive what I sent her. Fast forward to 6 May 2020, after emailing and telephone calls with the useless customer service, they claimed they could not locate where the package is now. Utterly hopeless (supposedly national) postal agency.

Poor Tracking Sytem

Tracking system is difficult to understand and I would have preferred that they give me auto updates via email, rather than I having to check online all the time. There is no option that allows me to subscribe to email/SMS notifications for tracked mail. I also cannot understand if my post has reached the destination. For mine, it says "Arrival at [country]" but what does that mean?? My receiver clearly has not received the item and seeking live assistance from Singpost is like talking to a wall.

My package EE031360485MY indicate my office address and been arranged re-delivery but the driver still indicate failed delivery / invalid address.The driver never call me at all.I was received the SMS request arrange next delivery or self collect.Are this meaning singpost drive do nothing?

lost mail

The bank sent me pin by mail 2 weeks ago but till now i still haven't got it! The pamphlet for the hand sanitezir also never reach my mail box... for 3 years i stay at my current address, i have numerous time got other people's mail in my letter box. i dropped into the correct mail box if possible. In the case their mail box is locked, i dropped into the returned mail box, and there was one time the same mail appeared in my mail box again the next day! i already dropped into the returned box, how can the post lady still sent to the same wrong address? There were a few times i have to pass the mail to my neighbour in person.
Is it because our mail box area is U shape and the lights there is not switch on during day time but actually the place is quite dark and maybe thus the post lady couldn't see clearly.
Whatever the reasons, its a problem we lost our mails.

SingPost is an unreliable postal service, despite their large size. Their operations are poorly streamlined, & the staff do not have basic respect for their customers nor pride in their work.

Bad experience exporting

Bad experience. I wanted to export a bluetooth headset to malaysia but was told not allowed, ask customer service for the reason, come with nonsense reason like "magnets" in the earphones. Few days later called me and told me malaysia custom dont allow this, (another nonsense since i shipped it out with other couriers clearly listing it as a Bluetooth headset with no issue). Afterwards say is Singpost exclusively not allowed to ship anything with battery (another nonsense since their own listed prohibited goods says otherwise). Overall very sloppy customer service and their own staff dont even know what they talking about lol.

Most probably the WORST postal service

Most probably the WORST postal service. it's been 3 months and they told me my parcel is declared as lost. I have been corresponse with Singpost a week after posting date n they keep referring me to check online. My parcel value is much higher than their refund cap S$68 just because I din insured for my parcel they can simply lost it? Ridiculous

I would like to highly appreciate the hard work, dedication and passion of your star associate name Lindy ( i hope i spell her name correct) shes been doing her job and extending extra mile to her customers. Her attitude towards her work is so consistent and I mean her politeness is remarkably incredible and she always put smile on her face that gives a very good impact to us as customers. You don’t always see people who has that passion in their job and Im so glad that you have her with you. Shes an asset. She deserves a promotion!!! Anyway shes been delivering an amazing service from the first time i get to connect with her on January 27, 2018. Keep it up Lindy. Great things will come your way soon.

awful unprofessional service

awful unprofessional service
made me waste my time never called back to give the booking details within 30 min as they had mentioned
waited two hours called back wasted another 20 min re explaining , most incompetent girl repeating she was sorry.. in the end she took all details for delivery and called back half an hour later to say my parcels are not eligible for delivery !!!
two calls 45 min
for nothing
their agents are undertrained and don t care at all
pathetic service

Most parcels delivered are taking more…

Most parcels delivered are taking more than 2 weeks and lost. The most extreme condition was sending out 10 parcels during holiday season Dec 2019, up until Jan 12th we have received claims for 5 parcels, who knows how many by end of Jan!

Do not use if given the choice

Do not use if given the choice. Countless "missed" deliveries even if you are home. Expect to open your door after hours of waiting just to find a missed delivery note requesting you to either book a redelivery or to personally go down to collect. Oh not to mention the really short opening hours, half day for Saturdays and closed on Sundays. Basically avoid like the plague.

Sucks singpost service

Sucks. The postman did not even bother to Hi or hello to ask if there's anyone at home. Basically, very high class postman. Just put delivery failed. And then put the item to post station and threaten you to collect by a certain date. The service is terrible. Rather it's no service. I think nowadays it's all cheating. For their convenience, they keep putting fails delivery notices. I waited one whole day for the delivery and I have been instructed to collect from 112 katong pop station!

I would not even rate it 1 rating star. Experience with Singpost from my end (receiver) is one of the worst. My items has been resend back to the sender (sender claim did not received the items) even after i have log in to redirect the items on systems (but Singapost mentioned their system error, my redirect instruction has not been captured). The only solution is for me to work it out with the sender directly even though it's Singpost hiccups! This is my consistent 2nd time experience within 1 quarter. Moving forward, i would not purchase anything if the sender mentioned that items will be deliver via Singpost. NEVER AGAIN! Waste of my money, effort and time dealing with Singpost!

Maybe Singapore is the size of Russia?

Postman who was supposed to deliver my speedpost parcel on 21st Nov ghosted me. No show, no parcel and no delivery notice.

Requested for my parcel to be redirected to a post office near my place on 21st Nov. 4 phone calls and 4 patronising "we'll expedite your request and have it delivered in 3 working days" later, it's 4th Dec and my parcel wound up at the wrong post office at the other end of Singapore. Well done.

I would rate this 0 stars! Recently served by 2 Indians customer service and both of them send me the same template emails!! I brought an item online in ebay and seller ran away. Item tracking marked as delivered but I never receive it. Upon verification they told me it was delivered to another address so I just need a confirmation from singpost to proof that it was NOT to my address so I can file a claim in ebay. But they keep telling me to contact the sender and all mails had been delivered to intended recipient bla bla asking me to contact sender. (SENDER ALREADY RAN AWAY). All I wanted is just verify that the mail is Not send to my address!! OmG both of them dont even understand simple English and keep repeating the same thing over and over. DEFINITELY not trained. Now I understand why overseas seller can just place a fake tracking number and hope to get away with it as long as it show delivered.

The worst

The worst. CCTV captured footage of a delivery man just instantly leaving a note for the failed delivery. no package in hand just instantly appeared at the doorstep and left the note. this company has to fix its people.
