Do NOT buy anything from xsjh-70 as he is fraudulent as if you query an item then he apologises and said he will work it out and then 5 months later still sends the same email saying he will work it out. I you check his negative feedback on Ebay.com.au then you will see many cases of his dismal behaviour and his complete unreliable response to problems
He sells goods which are misleading and then takes no reponsibility for refunds etc

I ordered two iPhone adaptors and they sent me the default adaptors. Ordered the pearl necklace but never delivered. It’s already nearly two and half months. I contacted the seller but they said there is not any order in my name. I then, sent them the screenshots of the order placed as an evidence but haven’t heard from them yet. I got scammed. Total waste of money and time. The seller is lixiaoren15 and this seller mainly sells pearl jewellery.

Fakes sold and proven - Ebay Australia just don't careBought fake / rebranded guitar strings from wootech on ebay Australia. They have been proven to be fake by Wholesalers here in Australia. Ebays reaction - just get a refund. Seller still selling fake strings 2 years on. Will NEVER buy from ebay again. Protect sellers / couldn't care less about their buyers!!!!!

E-Bay was my go-to online shopping

E-Bay was my go-to online shopping; however I ditched them when I couldn't purchase anything unless I connected through my facebook or google account. It's none of their business what my facebook or google account is. Just another way of keeping tabs on us! I use Temu, Shein or Wish now, so much easier and they don't want to connect you through your facebook or google accounts.

Package stolen, eBay refuses to take responsibility for misinformation

Selling on eBay is a joke. DO NOT USE SENDLE WITH EBAY. EBay provided me with incorrect information about posting an item and wanted me to pay to correct a label that I never had the chance to review, even though the wording clearly said "add pickup location in the next step." There was not next step. The service is absolutely terrible.

Fraud Seller on eBay “malenna_898”…

Fraud Seller on eBay “malenna_898” delivered a faulty mini projector and I shared all details to her on messages, As per her confirmation I returned item via Auspost and he/she confirmed to refund but she has not refund me for 2 months and not even replying any message, I attached few conversations. I reported eBay several times called them discuss to agents and they said they investigate etc till this time nothing happened. Extremely unprofessional and no actual support to buyers only verbally listening. This situation mentally tortured me, this seller lied to me and then ignore me by not replying. I paid postage for faulty product to deliver to them and this seller is such a big fraud!! They think by not replying I will get tired and stop asking my money. Extremely disappointing.

No respect to customer

I have used Ebay for 5 years and purchased a lot, I am even using their Ebay plus and I am not a seller. I accidentally placed order for a wrong item and I requested to cancel that order immediately. Then I received a bunch of emails from Ebay notified the cancellation of that order together with many other orders that actually delivered successfully recently. Right after that I received another email from Ebay informing that my account was suspended. I contacted them right away but they told me that my account cannot be reinstated and there will be no further appeal to this decision. So they have absolutely no respect to customers, that's what I found out.

i want my refund as promised

I have had mixed experiences with ebay, but mostly like this time BAD and like so many, we got caught out by shonky seller, ebay made promises at first just like the seller, but now when they have to refund my money they wont and no matter how hard or how many times i try to contact either ebay or the seller, nothing but silence, and no refund, i mean the seller is advertising hearing AIDS, but when you buy what is advertised as both a pair and hearing AIDS they say you only chose one hearing AID note the singular, nowhere on the page did it say you were buying a single hearing AID, i mean who buys 1 hearing aid, but hey ebay don't care i now they wont even acknowledge my many emails, but like so many here we are just the buyers and once they have our money we cease to exist, so much for ebay's money back guarantee. This company said once i returned the hearing AID they would refund me, well i supplied tracking and it was delivered yesterday morning at 8.59 at my expense with a supplied tracking number to the seller, when i asked for my refund i am now held to ransom and they will not refund unless i close the case against them, but until i have my money back the case is very much opened. i am going to fight this until i am refunded and then i am closing my ebay account fore good, i would sooner use Amazon and i stopped using them years ago because they were treating customers like ebay are now;;;;update I have now closed the case to try and get back my refund and even though i have asked again for a refund after closing the case like they wanted i still have no response from either the seller or ebay, looks like they are going to rip pensioners off, great way to treat your costumers ebay, and i say ebay because i bought it on ebay

Voucher scam -Ebay Plus Extension- promised and never delivered

I wanted to cancel my EBay Plus membership and was offered a $30 voucher to prolong. I clicked on accept, was promised the voucher on screen and was billed the annual membership fee…but no trace of the voucher. During the last 3 weeks, I complained multiple times to EBay and they keep promising to look into it (every week, they say 48h for an answer). I am being ignored. The $30 voucher is a scam.

Illegal sale practices

All in all, there is a lot to choose from on eBay and often prices can be good (until shipping comes in)

But as a business, eBay are super dodgy - I have actual screenshots of the illegal lisitng practices (when they offer 20% off for example, yet prices go up by 10-15% right beforehand) and they do nothing.

I sold something recently on eBay and was shocked to see the seller fee was close to 18% of the sale, so I'll probably give them a miss next time.

Suburb only scam

Seller sent package to a street in my suburb, not to my PO box at local post office. Only suburb appeared in tracking. Ebay said suburb proof of delivery to me. Aust Post have on file (re tracking number) street address package delivered to & photo of house, at address, taken by their courier. Aust Post gave a reference number, said couldn't give me the full address, or the photo, but that, because ebay is a business, they could give it to them. I went to ebay with this & they said they couldn't request this Aust Post proof that I did not receive my order. Ebay system appeared to automatically decide in favour of scam seller once I filled in the missing parcel notification. I interacted with customer service, they opened a case, said wait 3 days & if seller doesn't make it right, come back & reassured me about money back guarantee. 3 days later, seller had not made it right, & ebay had decided in favour of seller, this voiding my money back guarantee. I went through a torturous ordeal of interacting with customer service & ebay refunded me as a one time exception. I put in a scam report to the ACCC. I also left warning feedback on seller but that was promptly removed by ebay. I asked why and they said it was because I'd breached their rules when I said they refunded me as a one time exception, plus they had proof from seller of delivery (suburb), but I think it's clear that the real reason is how this reflects on their money back guarantee. Finally, because for ebay a suburb, ONLY A SUBURB, is proof of delivery, & because they can't, or won't, get proof of full address delivery from Australia Post, customers are being kept at risk by ebay. Last but not least, I acknowledge that I am grateful to have gotten a refund and that ebay said they're looking into seller.

Exorbitant fees to sell, wait weeks to be paid

Exorbitant fees to sell, and made to wait weeks to receive funds.

I even checked the fees and timeframes before selling.

Once the item had sold however, I'm advised that payment is "on hold". Buyer made payment made payment fast, I posted fast, they received the item and left positive feedback however I still won't be paid for weeks.

I certainly won't sell again, and probably won't buy off eBay again either.
