Ebay allows foreign sellers to send…

Ebay allows foreign sellers to send items such as slippers from Portugal claiming they are a certain size, they clearly are not. Then when you report them for fraud they tell you to ship the damn slippers back and pay $29 with no tracking number of $68 with a tracking number. Sellers shouldn’t get away with lying about the merchandise they are sending to the United States. Seller claims they are a size 10 US, when clearly they are a size 8 US. Then you contact eBay and they tell you to f..k off and pay $29 without a tracking number. Or $68 with a tracking number. The total cost of the 2 pairs of slippers was $200.00. eBay can go to hell, I’ve been with them for 8 years and plan on never going back.

Ebay Permits Trademark Counterfeit product sales

Ebay Can Not Protect Its Customers from Fraud or Counterfeit Products. In Australia it is against the law to traffic or send trademarked and copyright counterfeit products through The Australian mail system or freight companies. Ebay instructs its buyers to break this law by sending back the counterfeit product through the mail system or you will not get a refund? Buyers Be Warned that by mailing back counterfeit product you also give the opportunity for the seller to destroy the counterfeit product but also allowing the seller to sell the counterfeit product to some other innocent buyer!

E-bay Seller Protection

E-bay Seller Protection, NO SUCH THING.
E-bay has fully refunded our buyer after numerous complaints to E-bay that the buyer lied about purchase information, then misused the return process. $370 held for two weeks then fully refunded to the buyer that stated in his negative feedback that he modified the item before returning it. Absolute disgrace.

Ebay not user friendly. Misleading and fraudulent.

They should be avoided as a buyer because they remove almost all negative feedback for sellers.

So as a buyer, you no longer know what kind of seller you are buying from. It's plain misleading and wrong.

Ebay needs to be prosecuted by the ACCC or similar regulator/watchdog.

All "customer service" reps are from India, so while they talk nice to you they don't actually care to get anything done. They always side with seller in terms of neg feedback.

Needs to be regulated because they are a nightmare to deal with as buyer or seller

In order to sell you need to add a bank account to get payout.

When you go to try and add a bank account for payout the only way ebay facilitates this is to ask you for your banking login details…

Thats just absolutely terrible practice from a security standpoint.

“Hey just give us your banking login details”

Seriously what the... The people making decisions at ebay must be so far removed from the customer experience it is bananas

Absolutely hopeless

Absolutely hopeless. This is one of those If-I-could-give-zero-stars-I-would reviews.
Absolutely no way to contact anyone helpful at ebay. Automated bot chat just goes nowhere. Phone numbers in Australia just end up re-directing you back to the website. Facebook chat just mysteriously ends with no further comments/replies.
Hate ebay - trying to resolve a customer dispute is impossible.

It use to be really good

It use to be really good. But then the greed kicked in. They took total monopoly over the seller goods, and purchaser money. Then they added internal hub. So that purchaser has to wait for purchased item even longer. Not sure why they introduced it, but I’m sure there Is benefit for them.

I have been massively inconvenienced by not being able to use Ebay for well over a year. I joined Ebay plus, which I tried to cancel which was so hard, and although I didnt use it, they claimed after 6 months, that I owed them $4.95 and banned me until I paid it. I know 100% I was paid up and provided every piece of evidence they requested, which took dozens of hours over repeated rejections.
They were wrong, and I suffer, it is absolutely disgusting, over $4.95, for which I got no services, and I did pay.
The power of a monopoly makes allows them to walk all over us, even when we are right and they are wrong. Despicable PR

No Rights For Sellers and Their Foolish Customer Service.

I have maintained a positive selling history on eBay and they rewarded me account suspension without any violation. I am beyond frustrated with their unprofessional behavior.😡 They have no respect or support for the seller community. These incompetent fools only side with buyers, even when they are clearly trying to scam us and demand fake refunds.

To make matters worse, if you try to warn others about a scamming buyer, eBay offers no negative review for buyers way to alert fellow community sellers. EBAY IS A JOKE. SELLERS BEWARE – eBay doesn’t care about you. These mf only care about enabling dishonest buyers.
It’s outrageous and infuriating.

Scam and do not use eBay

Sold a very expensive dress on eBay and got paid. After 3 weeks the buyer advised they want there money back as there’s a small 1cm seam split. The dress left my possession in perfect condition and the buyer had had it for 3 weeks and in that time could have worn the dress and damaged it. However eBay have a 30 day money back guarantee and would not listen to my side of the storey as your dealing with a computer and not a person. EBay gave the buyer 3 weeks to return the dress and this time had lapsed and eBay closed the case. Then the next day they reopened the case, still no return dress or any information that the dress is being returned and deducted the full amount out of my personal bank account, including there $100 cut. So I still don’t have the dress and out of pocket for the dress I sold and have been charged twice on eBay’s fees which is around $200. I have lodged many complaints about the buyer, as they have not return my dress and still no response from eBay. There website is an absolute joke and anytime you think your getting to a place to lodge a complaint or contact a human, you get no where. You cannot contact anyone and lost nearly $1000.

EBAY IS DISAPPOINTING

Ebay should remove the 30-day limit for the Ebay Money Back Guarantee and remove the 60-day limit for leaving a negative feedback for dodgy sellers. I don’t know why Ebay allows dishonest sellers on their platform and doesn’t care if we lose money in a deceitful way. If the sellers tell you to contact them first before leaving a negative feedback, kept you waiting for your order, then told you they would “resend” your order until it’s already more than 30 days from the expected delivery date, you are no longer covered by Ebay Money Back Guarantee. If it’s already more than 60 days from the expected delivery date, you can no longer leave a negative feedback for the seller. How can we warn other buyers if we can’t leave a negative feedback for the fraudulent sellers, because we tried to settle the matter with the seller first, then we were promised a “resend”, then followed by their promised “refund”, until it’s more than 60 days from the expected delivery? We, the buyers, may be lucky to find some honest sellers, but we are not safe from millions of sellers on Ebay.

Ebay Australia is a scam platform

The eBay platform may pose certain difficulties for sellers who are newly established in the market. This is largely due to its policy permitting buyers to openly publish negative reviews. Furthermore, instances often arise where buyers purportedly do not receive their purchased items, especially when delivery has been managed through untracked channels of correspondence.

Dishonest Seller

Seller: oz_wonderland

New Apple iPhone SE 2020 2nd Generation Unlocked 64/128/256GB FREE EXPRESS

AU $319.00

Item number: 124496824471

***

I've purchased this item from the seller and started using it recently. Within a week the battery health dropped to 80% - which is acceptable since the phone was manufactured in 2020 which means the battery will have to be replaced.

Anyway, I took it to Bizup | Computer, Phone, Tablet Repair center and the technician said to me the phone is refurbished???

***

See attached image.

IMG-001 is clear evidence that this is not a new phone since the seal above the motherboard is broken which indicates that the relevant board was either replaced or repaired previously. The stamp is an indicator that the complete back housing of the phone is from another phone.

So, to sum-up - this phone has been built from spare parts and sold by the seller as "brand new". Contacted the seller - no success.
